Brilliant
This pump has been really great. Easy and comfortable to use, portable so great for travel and really effective...I’m able to pump more than with my electric pump and much quicker and easier. Very easy to wash and sterilise also.

I love this! Very convenient!
I brought the second gen that comes with a lid and a suction part in the bottom for spillage. This has been a lifesaver! I've recently been building up a stash for when I return to work. This has also given me relief when I've woken up with engorgement resulting in 150mls as picture below! I can't rave about this enough!

Perfect manual breast pump
This is the best pump. Period.
The price, the ease of use... awesome is the word.
I use it for expressing or just catch my letdowns. Works like magic.
The product itself doesn’t come with a cover - you have to buy it separately but that’s not an issue.

No brainer. Such a time saver.
Somebody gave this to me and it’s the best. Just pop in on while you’re feeding the other side and it collects the leakage but also pumps for you building up some handy little milk storage.

Must have!
This product saved my milk supply. It is so handy and efficient. It is great to have attached to the other breast while you feed from one. Used it a lot to help clear blocked ducts without causing over supply issues.

Amazing! Even at 9 months post partum
Purchased and used for the first time when my baby was 9 months old. Obviously breastfeeding is well established now and I don’t find I leak very much but wanting to try my baby more regularly with a bottle (which she currently won’t take) before returning to work soon.
Expressing after feeds is annoying and time consuming, so thought I’d give this a go to try and steadily build up as stash of breastmilk. Well I’ve used it twice today already, it’s so easy to just grab and pop on whilst feeding from the other side, and rinses quickly sfterwards. Very happy to easily get 30mls without any effort, I thought maybe I’d only get a dribble! Very pleased with my purchase, should easily have a bottle by the end of the day.
Purchased in September 2021 at Amazon for $20.00.

Easy and worth trying before pumping
Before having my baby, I was tossing up whether I wanted to pump if I was able to breastfeed. I came across the Haakaa and decided that I would try it out first before pumping and committing expense and effort into electric pump. I really liked the idea of not messing with natural supply - plus, I figure there is enough to do with a new baby rather than throwing in pumping and the hassle that comes with cleaning, sterilising electric pumps.
I really like the Haakaa and I definitely think it is worth trying out before committing to a pumping...Read more
schedule. With the Haakaa I just attach to the opposite breast that my daughter is feeding from to capture any excess milk. I wouldn't say I have an excess or abundant supply probably just average - but with this I was able to capture about 100ml a day (I would not use this for night feeds as it is a little extra effort). You can also give it a squeeze to encourage more flow but the 100ml ended up being more than I really need anyway. I now just do this on the lead up to weekend so there's a spare bottle or two in the fridge in case I am out and about without my daughter. It is an fairly inexpensive product and the best part is it is easy to clean and sterilise as it is just one silicone unit - and I'm pretty sure it can be put through the dishwasher (I do anyway!). I definitely recommend trying the Haakaa if you are on the fence about regular pumping.Purchased at Amazon for $18.00.

Fantastic product!
This is a great pump to use. It’s so easy. I can usually get a decent amount every time I use it. At first when bub was little I would use it on the side I wasn’t nursing on. Now if I pump I can still use it on the opposite side and it gets a decent amount which makes pumping quicker when needed. Well worth the purchase. Would be great for someone who wants to create a freezer stash but dislikes the idea of pumping with an electric pump. A tip I learnt was to fold the flange back and squeeze haakaa and then attach it, that way it will not fall off.

very good product
Haakaa silicone milk catcher. This product is for women with a lot of supply, but also for ladies who just need t catch that extra overflow form second breast!
I would use it while breastfeeding both of my kids - breastfeeding on one breast and HAAKAA on the other!
I love the HAAKAA with the stand and the lid!
I recommend to every single MAMA to be, if they are planning to breastfeed for long time!

Works a dream to save milk
I was originally pumping but was desperate to save breast milk incase we needed it so started using a haaka on the opposite side I was breast feeding on. Wasn’t a huge fan at first but now that I have the hang of breast feeding and can rest baby on a pillow and have free hands, I can support the haaka without worrying it will fall off. I use it a few times enough and end up with enough to store for a bottle if needed (or freeze for future use).

Convenient and so easy to use
I have been using the Haakaa as an alternative to my electric pump. It’s so easy to use. One thing that I’ve learnt to help the let down faster is by getting your baby to feed a small amount on the side you express then apply the Haakaa. I used it when travelling when I was full. It also goes in dishwasher!!

Average
The easiest breast pump I have ever used but I feel like if you don’t have a good let down or good supply it doesn’t work. Would still recommend to give it a go

Better than an electric pump
I used to use this to just catch let down, now I am using it to assist hand pumping. I had limited luck with electric pumps and hated all the cleaning.
Only concern is the local milk bank won't accept milk expressed this way as they have had a very high contamination rate. Just be careful with cleaning etc.

Love, love, love my Haakaa!
I am so in love with my Haakaa silicone breast pump! It suction’s to the breast and catches the let down while feeding my daughter on the other side or I have used it to relieve pressure from engorged breasts.
I love my Haakaa so much that I bought a second one.

Easy pump
This thing is a miracle! I just had my baby 4 days ago but noticed I was leaking some while nursing her on the other side. Just suctioned this on and continued nursing and I had caught over an ounce just in the time baby girl was nursing other side! Helps collect without having to pump, and that’s worth it for me alone!

Love this thing!
When I first got this, I was afraid my baby would kick it off while he was nursing. But if you have the placement right, the suction is great, so it’s really hard to get knocked off. I usually can get 2-3 Oz while using this. Just be careful when taking this off or setting it down, since this doesn’t have the stopper, it could easily be spilled. I’ve knocked mine over once, and it’s so sad when you lose a whole sessions worth! I’m much more careful now with it.

Better than electric pump
Haakaa is amazing! It seriously gets more than my medela and in half the time. Its effortless and discreet with no funny noises. I use my haakaa at work and have been for the past 9 months, being silicone it is very portable and discreet in my handbag or my back pocket.

Very happy lactation!
WOAH. This product is AMAZING. I so badly wish I had it after having my first child. For anyone who hates to pump and doesn't rely too heavily on a TON of stored milk, this is for you! I am a SAHM and want to build a bit of a freezer supply of milk up but absolutely hate to pump...this is the PERFECT way to collect milk without having to go through the whole pump fiasco. This product collects milk from your letdown and naturally pulls a bit more milk through suction. Make sure you watch a video of how to use BEFORE trying it (**hint- fold down ...Read more
the neck before placing to get proper suction). I really wish I had this in the very early days after having my little one...it would be great for engorgement etc. I will be buying this for any baby shower I go to from now on as I think it is completely genius. Super simple to use, NO hassle and great for building a supply!!! I use it strictly when nursing my son on whichever side he is not nursing on. I am 5 weeks pp and this is doing a great job of collecting letdown from the other side while nursing.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

It's very comfortable to use.
This thing was a LIFE SAVER during my maternity leave! My son started sleeping through the night pretty early on (by 4 weeks), so by the time he would wake up at 5:30am for his first feeding I was SO swollen and full that he would only take one side. This stressed me out so much because I couldn't just leave the other side still full...so I would either be crying trying to get him to wake up to eat the other side, or have to hook up the electric breast pump (which I HATED because there were so many parts to clean, and that would be an extra 20 ...Read more
minutes before I could go back to sleep). The Haakaa saved me for 2 reasons 1) I needed to start a freezer stash for when I returned back to work at 8 weeks and this allowed me to do so without having to pump (the pediatrician suggested pumping AFTER his feedings to build my supply....who has time for that?!?! I would have been literally a milking cow the entire day). 2) It's literally effortless with zero pain and only ONE part that cleaned easily. I stumbled across this on a blog by accident when I was trying to figure out how to build my freezer stash before returning to work without losing my mind and I will never be more thankful for a product. I would use this for the first 2 feeding of the morning (since you're fullest in the morning) and would have 4-6oz a day to put away in the freezer. All you have to do is squeeze the base, put on breast you aren't feeding from and release base to get it to suction to your boob. The suction holds it in place. Then have your baby feed from the other side and it will trigger your let down on the side the Haakaa is suctioned to!!!!!!! Only negatives (but not bad enough to not warrant this a 5 star product) is that if you don't pay attention, it can lose suction and come off (I just kept an eye on it and whenever it started to lose suction I would give it another squeeze to reestablish suction). Second is that is does not fully drain you like an electric pump would, but is enough to relieve you so you can go back to sleep (or for the second morning feeding, my son was usually awake enough that I would let him feed on that side after I used the Haakaa).Similar opinion? Awesome and so easy
I put it on the opposite side I am nursing from and it catches the let down and is so easy to use. I can put it on one handed very easily, and usually get about 90 mil in ten minutes from one side! And its so easy to clean! I am in love lol

I feed my baby on both sides...how does the pump work? Do i use it on the opposite breast and then swap sides when baby swaps breats?
Also, will i still have enough milk in the 2nd breast when baby swap sides to complete for feed?

I’m trying to decide between the 100ml and the 150ml (the latter being a new addition to their range). I’m only a smaller busted woman (still just a B cup at the end of my pregnancy) but leaking and expressing colostrum just fine. Would 150ml tend to fall off the breast and just be unnecessary or do some of you wish your 100 was bigger?
