Not bad
Not a bad machine. It works well and meets general needs of washing.
The disadvantages are : its loading is too small, and it can not wash many clothes once. The normal mode takes a long time, and it must complete full washing cycles. It can not start from a specific step.

Not too bad
Good washing machine, rather loud and disruptive though. I find there is always a bit of a smell to the washing machine afterwards. It's a bit small for a big family also, you will end up doing a few loads. Overall it cleans well and is also worth the price

OK
Not a bad replacement for my end-of-life front loader. Pretty straight forward to use and cleans well.
Found the 'normal' cycle is a bit harsh ( wear & tear on some clothing )
The lint catcher however is a real pain in the butt - pretty poorly sewn 'catching sachet' ....and if you don't clean out after EVERY wash...leaves lint all over items. ( that probably explains how harsh the cycle is on the wear of clothes - it's actually stripping fibres off items ).... have NEVER experienced, in my 40 years of using a washing machine...SO MUCH lint. Lesson learnt.....do the research and go and purchase item by yourself....don't leave it up to the 'OH'....or get him to do the washing......haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Down the track.......if the 'spin' doesn't actually 'spin' to my requirements...( and still leaves the clothes 'wet'......happens often.....I will switch to the 9 min spin cycle and smash them through... Read more
again)....not sure why I would have to engage the extra cycle, but like my washing to be 'half way' dry before hanging up on the line. Maybe it's just me.......I had the old Simpson 'wringer' that scared the crap out of me when I fed the sheets through the wringer in the 70's...then ....the vintage 'twin-tub' spinning machine was even harsher.... haaaaaa......I should be in 7th heaven...lol.... Bottom line would be for me.....a top loader is far easier to control than a front loader in my experience - ( pause...add an item or two.....and continue with the cycle)Similar opinion? A waste of money
I bought this machine 2 months ago and it did wash things ok but they were all twisted after spin dry. The sad part is we use tank water for washing and because of it supa techo programming it has burnt out my house pump twice in 2 months. If you have tank water or live off a bore this machine WILL destroy your pump. I sent mine back and got my money back because the salesman failed to disclose this info at time of purchase.

ABSOLUTE DISASTER
I purchased this washing machine 5 months ago, in that time I have had 5 service calls, the last being last Wednesday when the water was pouring out of the bottom of the machine I was told the technician would be here Friday, received a call Thurs saying he couldn't come until Monday between 8-10am, when he hadn't arrived after 10am I called spent 3/4 hour on phone and was told he would be there between 3-5pm, he fixed what he thought was the problem 20mins later the water again was pouring out I called for him to come back and they said he had...Read more
gone home after some talking was told he could come Tuesday he came and again tried to fix the problem this time using silicon and saying it had to set for 24hrs. he could come back and check Wednesday between 3-5, when he hadn't arrived at 4.30pm I called him he had just left a meeting 1 1/2 hrs away from where I live but told me to turn machine on it should be right. I did so the same thing happened. I then called customer care again and said I wanted a replacement,,they had to check. I must say the technician did come at around 6.15pm again tried another remedy stayed while the machine started and left, I went to check 20mins later the water was again pouring out. I phoned customer care again and asked for a replacement again they said they would call me Thurs. Eventually I have a credit authorization and am going to get a new machine. If there was a rating less than 1 I would give it, I would not recommend the machine or Fisher & Paykel to my worst enemy.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi, I have just purchased this machine and every single load has come out soaking wet, and regular spin stops due to out-of-balance loads. How can I fix this?

I have the model Hwmsp60. It doesn’t seem to do a full rinse only spray rinse. Should it be on a special setting? I select normal wash, 1 rinse and 7 minute spin. Thanks

....and now, there seems to be some sort of issue with the spin cycle.......( my 'loads' are quite modest and I allow for more than enough water to cycle the clothing easily ) Now, I find I am wringi... Read more
