Good functional tyres, good price.
I got these tyres in a 4 for the price of 3 sale that Bob Jane Tmart were running. I have had them before on a different car, so I knew that they were decent tryres. No noise, handle well in the wet. Over I can't make any complaints & would recommend.

Eat any track
Performed unbelievably well in the mud and clay today at Wombat state Forrest. I have done around 2000km on them and today was its first test, didn't even have to deflate them. The harsher the terrain got the better the tyres performed. Not that loud on the freeway. Highly recommended.

Quiet for a Mud Terrain
After switching from Federal Couragia MT's which were terribly noisy these are a breath of fresh air. So quiet by comparison. already after 1000ks I can see little wear and an improvement in economy. I would reccomend these over the Federal product as they are comparable on price. Good off road too

Excellent off road tyre. For the price they cant be beaten.
I run a set of these in 285/75/16 on steelies mainly for offroad/trip use. Have been Cape York, Fraser, Simpson and all through the Victorian High Country. I bought them because of long standing good reviews on USA forums and tyre test websites, and because they were very reasonably priced ($265 ea). Tyres have performed flawlessly in all terrain i have thrown at them. They air down extremely well (10 psi lowest and just crawled up sand dunes). Handle 22 psi and 90 km/hr day in day out on rough outback roads. They are very good in sand fo...Read more
r a M/T. On the road they are quiet for a MT. Are fine in rain / wet roads. They do need the correct pressures to handle well though. Mine are Load rated E (80 psi) so need 45 psi even for the weight of my FJ (less than 2.5T). At 32 psi they do feel floaty. I will definitely buy again.

Swear By Them
I've run Dynapro MT's on my old '82 Hilux for ages with excellent results in tough hill terrain here in Central Otago, NZ. That truck has now gone to Hilux heaven (still a runnner, you cant kill 'em) and been replaced with a 2011 Ranger (3L PK-SFE). Have purchased a new set of LT245/75R16's for it and cant wait for the Savero's to wear out so I can replace them. Great grip, resist sidewall damage and not too noisy on-road. Fully recommend them.

Excellent tyre!
Put these on my pajero for 198$ each 31x10.5R15 and they've been brilliant.
Performed really well in Cape York, got me through the old telegraph track as well as the horrible corrugations and the sand track on the northern Peninsula.
Gripped seriously well on savannah way and could easily take sharp corners on gravel without even slightly losing any traction.
They lasted way longer than my friends good year wrangler mt for almost double the price. Have done almost 10k kilometers with them and the tread is barely worn. Many of these ...Read more
has been done on horrible roads and off road tracks. Got them down to 14psi on sand and they bulged our like four rubber pancakes. Didn't get bogged anywhere. Did rock climbing no dramas either. Not much road noise either. Excellent as an all-rounder. Couldn't be happier. Excellent tyre! I've heard the all terrains are seriously good as well.Similar opinion? Excellent all rounder
Fitted a set of MT's 265.70x17 to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, at first I was influenced by the purchase price which was much cheaper than the MTZ's that I was going to purchase but now after 30,000 kms and still with50% tread and a trip up the telegraph track towing a camper trailer plus numerous beach and bush trips I am a happy man.
Low noise levels for a MT, Long Life, Top Traction and nil steering or balance problems.
absolutely nothing yet

Best tyres
Completed a whole trip around australia 80 000 Kms only reason I need one new tyre is because we took a chunk out side bush bashin on rocks. Never had a flat whole way around and other three tyres still have ample tread. Would definitely recommend them. Will be buying more.

Quietly fantastic!!
I run my LT265/70R17's on my 2007 wrangler rubicon. They are great. No problems stopping in the rain. In the sand they are awesome as well as long as they are aired down to 20psi.
Mine are the LT tyres with a stiffer side wall. They call out for 80psi standard. I run them with 60psi for my everyday use. Yet I am still able to let them down to 20psi in the sand without any problems.
They are the quietest tyres I have owed yet. Even quieter than the yokahama ats tyres I had on previous to these. With all the windows down, all I hear are ...Read more
the cars beside me. Which to me is awesome considering mt's are always clapping and humming their way down the road. Mud handeling is very good as well. Fantastic for flinging the good stuff all over our jeep. The treads rarely catch rocks and are very good at keeping the tread clear. Only able to get bogged when I'm high centered. I have about 30,000km on them so far. They are wearing evenly across the board with a good 75% tread left. Looks like I'll get a good 80,000kms out of them overall. I also rotate them every oil change at 5,000km.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great muddies.
After 10000kms, love these tyres (Land Rover Defender). Really good outback dirt road tyres, excellent on fire trails, good in mud, good on road, there's nothing they're bad at. No chipping or cuts in conditions that had my previous Maxxis MTs looking battered and torn at price two thirds that of the big name 4wd tyres.
Every bit as good and tough as much more expensive 4wd tyres.

Great tyre
I've had these on my nissan d22 str for a year and a half and done 60000kms with 80% highway with off road use too. Will be purchasing these tyres again as im sure ill get 80000ks out of these tyres. These tyres have good grip on and off road and road noise is not as bad as people think.
Value for money I reckon
Wheel balance every 10000ks

Great mud tyres
Have had these for about 6 months now. Have done sand, mud, dirt roads, highway and lots of around the suburbs. Overall for a mud tyre theyre pretty quiet... it is still a mud tyre so its always going to make more noise.
They grip well in all terrains. Excellent in mud, was driving past my friends who were trying to get up the muddy track on there all terrain tyres. Theyre wearing ok, being a mud tyre they are a softer compound and the edges are showing slight signs on wear.
But then again the wheel angle is a tiny bit off.... so thats ...Read more
most likely causing that on the edges. They look fantastic and have a great side pattern and bit while writing to give you that typical mud tyre tool look we all love in a big mud tyre haha. Look great, pretty quiet.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect daily driver M/T
Have had these tyres for around 4000km's now. I picked up a set after reading an American review/comparison on them that rated them above the BFG KM2. I have previously had a set of KM2s, Maxxis Big Horns and the original BFG KM1 muds all on my GU patrol and all used as daily driving tyres. All of those 3 sets of MTs were super good and i would still recommend them to anyone but they all come with a price tag to match. This time i was still looking for a strong MT that would carry weight but without as much road noise and wear as others i have ...Read more
owned. The thing i like most about the Hancook Dynapro MTs is the 'all round' value you get out of them. Firstly i will say that of the 4 sets of MTs i have owned these have the least aggressive tread pattern, but i will confidently say that i have already taken these tyres everywhere the more aggressive MTs went with ease. They are without doubt the quietest MT i have driven on compared to the other 3 above. They have the grip of an AT in the dry and most importantly in the wet aswell (in the wet when i had the KM2s and Big Horns fitted i would feel the back end slipping around roundabouts to the point were the missus was not confident to drive it in the rain) with the Dynapro's she reports feeling safe driving in the wet and so do i. I do trips to the top end fishing a few times a year and carry lots of wieght, i found the Dynapro's have a Load Range rating E which is the only other tyre i know of on par with the KM2s, higher then the Coopers, Goodyear, Maxxis and Micky Thompsons. If i get good tread wear and km's out of this tyre i see myself going back to this tyre over and over again!. Value for money. exelent everyday driver MT1 comment

Great Mid Priced Tyre
The Hankook Dynapro is one of the better tyres I have used. Have had a set on now for over 2 1/2 years and 40,000kms. Still only half worn and today destroyed my first one on Pilbara rocks, not unexpected and not uncommon up here. Have had a couple of punctures, but not the fault of the tyre (tek screws etc on road). Highly recommend them and will be replacing them with like. Much better than Cooper STTs and their waste of time warranty. On par with BFG MTs.
Price and reliability.

I am looking now at the same tyres to put on to my new 200 series and yes I live in the Pilbara, from all reports they seem good and I also was going to go with the Cooper STT,s but apparently they may delaminate at high temperatures?

Bad
Good value for off road, good in the mud, gravel, shale and dirt, but as they wear they get very hard and jarring on your back,in the wet on the black top they grip like glue, brilliant.I still have 10mm of tread left on them and have covered 30,00klm's.
Good off road, good on road wet or dry, wear very well
very hard compound and after 25,000 k's the tyres get very hard on the blacktop.

Still of the same opinion of these tyres with some weight in back of Hilux, and towing camper trailer, they were quite good .
Didn't go off road though, but I expect they be o.k .Wear is good so far(7000K's)

Questions & Answers
Alvinasked
This is a general question and comment, so feedback will be greatly appreciated...
Tyre pressure!
Before leaving the tyre fitters with the Hankook Dynapro MT's on, I asked what pressure should they run at.
The answer was... 'don't go below 55psi!'
That surprised me as all my tyres have always been around the 40psi mark.
His explanation was... 'it's a light truck tyre and any lower psi (at speed) will do irreversible damage to the carcass. They are meant to run at a higher pressure!'...
Sure enough, I emailed Hankook to double check and their answer was... 'they should/best run (especially carrying weight) at 80% of max pressure (which is 80psi).
That makes the recommended pressure to be around 64psi!
So, I run mine from 55psi up to 60psi, depending on weight carried. I've now done over 54,000ks. They still run well, the wear well and no signs of any deterioration on sidewalls, etc.
The only downside is that I'm relentlessly mocked at work by mean people who thing I'm weird for enjoying running on solid rubber that shakes the teeth out of their sockets! (;->
But... I've got very broad shoulder and know that my Hankooks actually handle very well on the road and are very acceptable in the bush.
So, is that information useful to anyone and does someone have any comments to add to the tyre pressure info, as I'm always keen to learn more here?

Is hankook rt3 MT indonesian tyre good for the use on the roads too? And what about its quality ?
1 answer
Quality is great. If you worry about road noise thrn this tyre is not for you. More suited to off-road conditions. But in saying that the road noise does not bother me.

Are the side walls 2 or 3 ply and are they made in Korea or China or both?
1 answer
Hey Andrew,
Sidewall: 3-ply polyester
Tread: 3-ply polyester, 2-ply steel, 2-ply nylon
Hope that helps.
