Excellent customer service
Jeffrey was very patient with me and helped me over a week to set up the internet, I didn't know I had a router connected and hidden, it was getting very frustrated. He called me everyday to update the info and tried his best to get it going. I couldn't thank him enough.

Unreliable service and unreasonable/hidden costs
Signed up with HarbourISP based on some of the positive reviews here and what a waste of time and money it has been! they promised 100/40mpbs speeds but the max I got was 35 up once and they kept saying they "investigating", I had to ring them everyday and had to explain the issue from scratch every single time, the customer service workers are quite nice and well mannered but it's really hard to understand them since they are on some sort of VOIP phone system which cuts out all the time. ould not waste time if I knew about this, I signed up with ConnectedAustralia after 7 days of wasted time with HarbourISP and I was getting 100/40 without any issues. Now Harbour have sent me an invoice for $135 for 7 days of internet that I had with poor service, will definitely be disputing that invoice.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Perfect Internet service and excellent customer service and technical support.
Internet service is very reliable, did not experience one single dropout since activation. The technical support is excellent, the customer service is excellent. No long wait times compared to other ISPs.

No communication, overcharged without reason
I signed up to the $69 a month UNLIMITED plan. I received my first months invoice. I have been charged $115. I am extremely confused as to why this is. There is no explanation on the invoice and no one has emailed me back with an answer to the multiple emails I have sent asking for someone to explain the $46 overcharge.
As someone with 2 young children it can be extremely difficult to call and solving the issue though an email would be extremely helpful.
If this matter isn’t resolved I will be taking this to the commonwealth ombudsman.

The moving process was seamless
The service is very good, never have experienced connection issues, recently I moved to another location with NBN and the moving process was extremely easy, I've just contacted Harbour ISP team and they scheduled the move. I didn't need anything just plugged the router and everything started working.

Just fulfils our needs. Ltd data allowance, very average speeds, frequently breaks down
Break downs frequent - every 6 weeks approx. Sometimes takes several days to repair. We need the service to be more reliable as we don’t have mobile at our location. Frustrating very inefficient service system with ISP, NBN and Skybridge all involved in getting a technician to site.

A bunch of money grabbing crooks. Tried to steal $469 even without setting up a connection.
I have tried to purchase an opticomm connection via HarbourISP. I chose HarbourISP as they had very good reviews. Looking back makes me wonder how these people have so many good reviews. This is a company to steer away. When I purchased the connection they were so incompetent in helping to setup the connection or diagnose a problem. They've just been trained to say the same thing, "do you have a recommended router, did you reset the router, can you try the bedroom port, etc.". WIFI extender stopped working after changes were made to our NetComm Router settings
Haven't really experienced drop outs yet but on a speed test we dropped to just over 5 Mbps. We are back up to 28Mps now and the extender is working again thanks to Jeffrey Francisco

Good technical support
Offshore support not great. Had two people who I struggled with, kept getting cut off, having to start again. 3rd person was fantastic. He helped me sort out the problem quickly. He was knowledgeable, easy to understand and restored my faith in Harbour.

Great service
These guys are great. Very responsive. The service always seems to run well. Sent me a new router without question after telling them over the phone that the original one had stopped working. To be critical, they should have supplied a new one quicker. It took 4 days to get a new router. This could have ben a massive problem if I didn't supply my own alternative connectivity solution for the short term.
