Always check your receipt - prices wrong
Lost count of the number of times I had to get refund due to items scanned at wrong price. It’s definitely not human error but computer POS pricing discrepancies and prices not updated correctly. Today they had capsicums at $3.99 kg but they were scanned as $3.99 each. If you buy 1 capsicum it will come to $3.99. Buy 2 and it will be $8.00. I can go on and on. It’s the products on special that have the most pricing issues.

Corona virus
29/3/2020 - hard times for everyone. I was in the shop at 7.10am. Every one was wearing gloves and masks. The person feeling up the empty shelves in the front left was wearing a mask, but not gloves . When I asked one of the shop assistants (was holding a book, wearing mask and gloves and giving instructions), why this particular person does not wear glove her answer was : no need when handling vegetables! Real? Otherwise, no complaints. Good products, good service!

Clean, safe, everything you need
The measures taken by Cooks Hill Harris farm regarding COVID-19 should be applauded. Hand sanitizer stations, gloves and masks worn by staff, disinfectant wipes over surfaces inbetween buyers, wipes for trolleys and screens in front of tellers. Furthermore they had so much stock it was fabulous! I feel safe entering during these times and guaranteed good quality produce shopping here. Compared to other supermarkets you guys are 5 stars.

Thank you
I'd like to say thank you so much for your recent initiatives, providing a safer place to shop/work for customers and staff. Shopping in the stores (Willoughby and Lindfield) reduces my anxiety considerably: clean and well-stocked.

I was Shocked!! Caring for staff to minimise Carona and Hand Washing facilities as you Enter
Harris Farm management act FAST to show their geniune care for staff and customers. Within days they had installed transparent plastic screens at the counter to prevent their staff from getting coughed on. Then they make hand saniters everywhere with nice signage. But the best of all this morning I go in and find they have plumbed in water hand washing stations at the entrance!!!! And then, as I'm leaving, I see they've hired extra staff to disinfect all the basket handles. They have calming music and a security guard to make sure the vulne...Read more
rable shopper are looked after with trollies. WTH!?! Plus they have waaaay more stock on the shelves than coles or woollies. On top of that, the bakery section still cuts my bread with a smile. Why would I shop any where else?? Genuine thanks for taking the stress out of my shopping.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

outstanding
in these time of corona virus the difference between ethical and caring stores and others really is evident. Harris Farm at Lindfield introduced shielded cashiers and no cash early in this pandemic, to reduce exposure to their staff, while customers had hand sanitiser at the store entry. They have now added more sanitiser stations and 2 hand washing stations at the entrance. Stocks of items are holding up, even canned food. By comparison the local Woolworths have done nothing about protecting staff or customers and most stocks are in short supply. Where there are restrictions on eg frozen veges, there are no signs and you dont find out until you reach the checkout. I will be shopping at Harris Farm from now on.

No complaints here ! :)
Great staff and variety of stock in store. The staff are always helpful and mindful of the environment.
Great to see the pause in accepting Cash at the checkout as well and how they are evolving with the COVID -19 situation. Legal or not, unprecedented actions are required for unprecented times. Keep up the good work and stay safe team ! :)

Non acceptance of cash
No complaints about Harris Farm But you might like to check the legality of your refusal to accept cash in payment from your customers. Cash is ‘Legal Tender‘ and under the Currency Act you as the vendor, are obliged to accept payment that is legally tendered.

Do not buy the eggs
I have recently bought eggs twice from this store - different brands and both times some of the eggs have been off - TOO OLD!!!
They have a large range and vast quantities of each - maybe that is the problem ??- having someone check all those cartons is a huge task.

Organic avocados - Love the taste hate the sticky bands
Hi I love the produce and other quality items that you stock. Loved the organic avocados you have had in - the taste was just fabulous. But disappointed that they not only carry plastic stickers but a plastic 'organic' sticky band all the way around. Very very environmentally unfriendly and will make it so that I don't purchase them again. If you need to differentiate, what about a paper band around them?

Great service today
Great service from Edward @ Manly store . I was after 2 buffalo ricotta tubs & none were on display & Edward said give me a call later this afternoon in case stock comes in. Whilst I was still shopping in the store Edward found me & surprised me & said that he was able to find the ricotta on the palettes & he handed me my 2 tubs of ricotta ! He saved me a trip to Mona Vale so now that I know Harris Farms @ Manly stock this I will be buying from this store .
Thank you once again Edward for your great service !

Took it back got another one, opened the bag there, same thing, money back please! The thing that got me was absolutely NO APOLOGY. Straight to Coles, cheaper and no stench.

False advertising
Double check your dockets, they charge you more than their advertised price and they waste your time and argue with you instead of apologising. If it was Coles or Woolworths, they would refund your money and apologise, no questions asked!

Quality of produce
I love that staff are willing to help find a product/produce and walk you to it.
The butchers are so knowledgeable, the meat is top quality, the butchers know their produce, and can recommend the cut that’s right for you.
The checkout counters are plentiful, with staff who are very efficient.
Thank you HF. You ar running a great business.

Plastic bags are gone but plastic packaging is up
While claiming green credentials the amount of wrapped and packaged produce seems to have increased a lot. When I emailed they said customers preferred convenience of packaging. What a joke- creating so much more garbage! You get home unpackage the products, sort if it can be recycled, and then put in the various bins that have to be taken out. Hardly convenient. Customers please dont buy the packaged produce!
The fresh produce and cheeses are great though! Also love the wonky section and staff.

Bravo Apples
Absolutely loved the Bravo apples! Even the outrageous pricing didn't put me off at first. The stock that they have in store is obviously from their first delivery and is deteriorating every week. The pricing should be adjusted accordingly - won't be buying any more!

Worth the prices
The prices can get rather steep at Harris Farm. However, the quality of fruit and veg as well as other foods is well worth it. Usually I'm a 'cheaper is better' kind over person. However, I find myself continuously going back to Harris Farms because I love the fruit and veg I get there.

Fresher then most
Find the market a bit pricey but also tired of paying for fruit and veg at woolworths with no flavor and low quality. The market renews my faith in our Aussie food, will keep shopping here as you do get a good selection thats generally nicer to consume then others.
