Radio/CD player
Thank you Harvey Norman for the portable radio/CD we purchased from your Joondalup store today. This is the second one we've purchased in the last few months, one for our holiday apartment in Cairns & one for our Mindarie wa home. It’s the perfect size for our needs in both places. We tried several other outlets for a similar product with no luck. The radio/CD player is. Lenoxx CD 813 Portable CD Player. The prices were very competitive which made us very happy.once again thank you Harvey Norman.

dissapointed purchase
over exurberant sales person..couldn't get away fast enough..Just wanted to buy what we came in the store for but the sales person confused the situation with continual unnecessary chatter. then forgot to organise delivery for weeks until we had to contact the manager and complain.

Terrible Customer Service & $$$ Big Buys Cambridge Park TAS
Purchased a lot of stuff including camping table, took table back 2 days after as it didn't fit where needed. Totally refused refund although table unused in original state. No mention anywhere in store about this and staff unwilling to help. Poor poor customer service - won't be back! To add insult to injury - found same table for $20 less a week after at Bunnings. Then stores wonder why people rather buy over the net......

Bought the big dino kid play pool about 10 months last summer as it was on sale as $58. I did not open it to use as we had another play pool. This summer, opened for them to play. The air kept loosing every 5 mins. We kept using electronic air pump at all the time as the pool looked awful. After 15-20 mins that we tried and my kids have already put on swimming suite and try to play as only the slide was strong, then i told my kids that they could not play on it anymore. The guarantee: I did not know when bought if they don't have guarantee for a year on this product, otherwise i would not paid $58 for not even 1 time use properly for my poor kids who waiting to play on this summer. I could just buy a pool in kmart and anything wrong then i can send it back to exchange the good one. Tried to contact them with receipt in hand as just around 10 months. Wrong item sent
Sent out wrong colour item (pink/red) then they resent the same colour item cause they didn't have the item i ordered in black or blue.. Go figure?? Now i have no birthday present for my son! there's no way he will ride a pink scooter! Hopeless!

Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service. My Mum and I went to a harvey norman store because they said they'd refund the item because it didn't fit the keyboard stand and they said that they won't take it because the box was open even though they said they'd take it back. Still to this day, I never got my refund. Never shopping their again!

Worst customer service
I tried to contact them for 10 days EVERY DAY both by email and phone regarding a faulty product. Useless bunch of clowns! Finally after calling the supplier direct because Big Buys were so darn useless, (the supplier was aware of the lousy service from Big Buys) tried to assist and a new shipment was supposed to have arrived yesterday after I received a consignment note number on Monday afternoon. Wrong price listed
Looking for a high chair at Big Buys, and the price listed is $147 and I asked the staff whether it is the best deal and he told me that is the best deal and no more discount, but it is actually $129 after checking its website. Buyers should carefully before buying the goods from them, make sure you check its website and find the correct price first at least.

Today me my mum and sister went to big buys Cambridge to get a few final things for my unborn baby we ended up buying two baby swings @ $195 each and a small medical kit for baby's our total spent was $440 both swings were quite heavy but my sister slid them on the floor to the counter and we paid for them there. Terrible delivery/customer service
The Big Buys service is absolute disaster. I bought two air mattresses on 20 Jan to be delivered on 24th. On 1 Feb I gave them a call and they say they'll dispatch it tomorrow. After 4 days I gave them another call and after being on hold for 33 minutes I was told the same thing; 4 days later and I hadn't received anything from them so I gave them another call and after being on hold for over 40 minutes they said they couldn't contact the warehouse and they don't know the status of my order!!!! Disgraceful - Big Buys Cambridge Tasmania
I went to Harvey Norman Big Buys Cambridge on Boxing Day to take back an item that my daughter received for Christmas. It did not work, and I had lost the docket. They asked for proof of purchase and explained that I had lost the proof of purchase and I had paid in cash but I knew what day I had bought the item from bank transaction records showing purchases from other stores at Cambridge park and I knew roughly what time it was bought. unter and the female asked me if I knew who had served me. I explained it was a guy with tatts and piercings who was really friendly and jovial. They all looked at each other and said they couldn't think of who that might be which is really strange because he was a very outgoing, "life of the party" kind of person with very distinctive piercings. Then said they couldn't do anything without proof of purchase and offered to get the manager. I said I would like to speak to the manager. They looked down the isle towards the manager and the female said "there's no point, he's turning back and he's only going to say the same thing - we can't do anything without proof of purchase." I said I can tell you when I bought it (thinking they must have a record themselves) and it doesn't work at all, it's faulty. I asked if they would consider exchanging it but they all stood behind the counter repeating they need proof of purchase, even for an exchange. My daughter was becoming uneasy and I felt very intimidated by all the 4 or 5 staff who were by now talking over the top of me and dismissing anything else I said. Other customers were crowding around and I felt threatened by the whole situation and decided to get myself and my daughter out of there. I felt really humiliated and intimidated by counter staff effectively operating as a gang. Today I learnt that another customer took a faulty item back without a docket, and the Tuesday staff looked up the record of purchase on their database, and provided a full refund. I didn't realise refund/exchange policies changed day to day at the whim of staff. I told a large group of friends about my experience last night and none were surprised by it. Big buys courier
The actual big buys staff are great. The problem I had with an online order was due to the courier - I am in the country and I needed something delivered. 4 weeks later no cigar . I found a really helpful girl in the store and asked her name. From that point things started to happen. I ended up driving 3 hours to pick up the order. Happy ending though - I have the order

ZERO customer service ZERO communication
Harvey Norman needs to sever its ties with Big Buys. I ordered two products with a value of $15 and had to pay $17 postage. Only half the order was delivered and I have been chasing up the other product for two weeks. All the phone numbers and live chat go through Harvey Norman who can't actually help you with a Big Buys purchase. They have to email BB's and wait up to three days for a reply. Never trust online order
I had been a regular customer of Bigbuys. Recently they've closed the showroom for Bigbuys and I had to switch to online order and pay more for postage. Since then I realized, you never try to purchase online. It's a waste of time. Customer care hotline is never answered for me and someone said it takes hours before they listen. The voice message left in customer care hotline is never acted on. The 'Notes' section of the order is pretty much ignored. You can't leave any useful instructions on it. I would recommend buying directly from bigbuys, but not online.

Terrible customer service
Placed an order for 25 packets of dog dental chews and paid for online. Two weeks later received only 8 with no tax invoice or communication saying what happened to the others. I have gone to online chat and told i would get an email explaining what had happened - no this didn't happen. Sent a customer query which says someone will reply in 24 hours - 4 days later still no response. Waited 20 mins on the phone to customer service and was told i would be contacted that day - no this didn't happen either. Now i will try Consumer Protection unfortunately there is no service with this company. Don't buy from them as it is not worth the hassle. There are better companies out there that value your business and respond to your queries.

Harvey Norman withdrew my sale :(
Found a great deal, then nearly 24 hours after purchaseI received an email saying that they'd 'run out' of the product. In the modern era of online shopping I'm pretty sure that a computer can ensure that if a product is out of stock, it doesn't get sold! My guess is that the price was an error but if Harvey Norman acknowledged this they would have to honor it, so they are saying it's sold out instead. Disapointed either way.

I would like some details about a "kid me bean bag" colour Gelati, product code: KMB09080, it says this product is washable, does it have an inner cover so that the outer cover can be washed without removing the beans and also does the price of $68 include the beans, or do they need to be purchased separately ?

Apologies for the delay in responding, the outer front cover can be removed (the fabric part) but the entire unit cannot be machine washed. So the main section you sit on can be washed but not the entire bean bag. Hope this helps!
