Receveied a great buy for a Sony Blu Ray and media player that was cheaper than JB's. The salesmen was also honest and fair. The happiest I've been with a purchase ever.
Sasha always comes out with the best CS as we have always shopped with him.
Cannot say enough good abt Sasha and his relaxed cool calm friendly approach with odd dad's joke or 2 thrown in for good measure.
His technical knowledge astounds me, I needed an air purifier and he managed to steer me in the right direction.
This is not the 1st time I have purchased from him, he has assisted me many a time, for good or bad he has always handed it professionally without making you feel like you're just a number.

Love my new Modular
Went to Harvey Norman on a Saturday, ordered my lounge and it was delivered on the monday. Its Huge, Comfy and great quality.. So happy with the service at Rutherford and would recommend the Manhattan modular to any one. Paid $1999 on sale

We needed to replace our old split air conditioner and went to Harvey Norman in Joondalup. We received great advice and service from our sales person Alan. Would highly recommend him. The installation of new air conditioner was also very good. Thank you.
Understaffed and appalling price gouging
I bought a fitbit from Harvey Norman and it took nearly an hour. There weren't sufficient staff working - to answer my question, and then remove the product from a locked cabinet. The staff were flat out. This is during the COVID lockdown, and I'd have thought Gerry Harvey could provide a few more jobs for people who really need them.
When I paid for my fitbit at the Cashier, there was a 'sale' bin with 50ml (let me tell you that's very small) hand sanitizers for sale for.... $8!!! Talk about taking advantage of a bad situation! The shop assistant said not many people were buying them. I hope not.
I will definitely shop elsewhere for electrical and other products now.
Midland Store - I had to return a kettle that I bought 18 months ago and it was still covered under warranty. The sales assistant from that section Kate was very professional and obliging, in no time I had a brand new kettle. Her customer service was excellent.
Having just put down new carpet with a dog with long hair I was struggling to find a vacuum that could pick up the dog fur effortlessly.
Anna from Malaga, suggested I get a sample of the carpet, leave it out for a few days and then take it in to try out a couple of the vacuums they had available.
I did then and I was able to try out the different makes and models.
I have returned home with my new Miele and am extremely happy with the results. It was effortless and did an amazing job.
Try to Return Something
I purchased an electronics item and later found that it wasn't compatible with my device and tried to return it. The item was unopened and I had the receipt from the previous day. I was bounced from one person to another who had their own processes until I had enough. I ended up giving it away to a friend.

Well set out easy to find what I wanted. Helpful staff as explained the different printers have written more than my usual 2 words.
Dont buy product care
Sent off computer to be repaired under product care. 6 weeks now and told will be 4-6 more. After regular follow ups item has been forgotten, approvals not passed on and parts not available. With Harvey Norman selling this product i would expect a genuine repair procedure but they have had it 6 weeks now and still cant repair it. I bought a brand name computer form Harvey Norman and expected them to back it up. Product care don't care, Harvey norman dont care and seem to think that its all ok to wait this long. They dont know how to fix it so keep pushing this around to different people. Anyway off to consumer affairs now to report them.
Excellent Customer Service and After Sales Help
I bought a mobile phone on 3/4 from Harvey Norman, Cleveland. Stephen helped me so much, transferring the data from my old phone to the new one and offering advice as I am not technical at all. Since then he has helped me twice when the phone wanted to do big updates. Hopefully I won't have to bother him again but he was so nice and patient. I would also like to commend Glen from the same shop as he was very knowledgeable and helpful when I bought a new TV, also on 3/4.
Good Prices and staff
People love to hate on Harvey Norman but last couple years when I price check they are always quite good and staff are always helpful.
Anyway, adding this as always try to add a good review when I leave a bad (for another company) so thanks HN, is deserved.
The staff are rude and abusive to their customers and their staff so I would recommend going to JB Hi-Fi because they always treat their customers and their staff with respect.
I visited Harvey Norman Aspley and I bought everything I needed in one shop. Hi sense Upside Down Fridge, Hisense Front Loading Washer, Dyson Stick Vaccum, Popcorn maker and Milk Shake maker. I did want a TV and I waited for a while but it was so busy I gave up but was very happy with what I had purchased. The products were exactly what I was looking for. Got to love the Aspley store always has what I need without waiting.

I went into the Chadstone store and was assisted in purchasing a new fridge, washing & dryer and TV. The team were knowledgeable and friendly, leaving me confident I had made the right decision in purchases.
Very poor customer care
I bought labtop for my daughter and she uses Microsoft teams. The camera doesn't work for the program. Very unhelpful customer service representative told me use Skype for the program!
While renovating our home, we decided to shop at HN QV. Their customer service was fantastic, they price matched and gave us extended warranty, and organised delivery despite us living on the second floor. Later we had to use the warranty, and just as excellent service.

My order hasn't been delivered after 9 weeks... I am tiered waiting and want to cancel it now. What are my options ?
You need to talk to them about the delay and find out if they are waiting on the product to be delivered to them to on deliver to you. They may have it stuck on the dock. You would be entitled to cancel I am sure but then you may have to wait a while for your new order. Talking to them would be the best resolution
