There is no vents in the rear of the H2 unless you have a center console where there are 2 vents, cup holders and USB Ports.
Best if you ask your dealer.

I have just got the H2 had it for 9 days so I can not comment on any issues mechanically but there are no rear air vents for the 2nd row. I have got the 2 middle vents on the dash facing straight and on an upwards tilt and the air goes to kids in the 2nd row.

Go to your Haval Operations Manual and it will tell you

Select SET Option nest to BAND & MUTE .... In SET Option select CLOCK Option.....Then Use POWER or Volume Increse or Decrese to change time ......

I had similar issue when I was using 91 rated fuel,then I switched to 95 rated fuel this issue was gone....try it.....

Sorry to hear, try selecting a different gearbox program like the economy setting or snow setting? Moving the gear lever to the one side can select the manual selections but this should be obvious. I actually thought the City was only manual?

Does the H2 take full loaded 5 adult passengers with full boot well?

Apple CarPlay only. No Android Auto. For Android phones you will need to use Bluetooth.

I have 2020 h2 and use android through bluetooth. While I can hear callers clearly they say that I sound like I'm in an air tunnel. Can I change this?

I have a 2017 H2, and it has a full size tyre and mag in the wheel well. Can't see why the LUX would be different

Haval H2 Australia Review.....after driving 2000kms......Overall GOOD Car......with one or two pain points......rear seatbelts are harder to click in..........refilling petrol not as smooth as others.......... i.e refilling nozzle has to be pressed in harder then compared to others not convenient but not a hassle........

The Saudi Haval H2 specification vehicle is probably different to the Australian version so it's difficult to give objective advice. For a start, the Saudi version is left hand drive, the Australian version is right hand drive. Also, to the best of my knowledge, the 2020 model has not yet arrived in Australia so I can't yet offer informed comment. I suggest you use a review site from another left hand drive market where the H2 is available for sale. The Haval China website is available in English and the Chinese specification would probably be the same as the Saudi spec'...but who knows.

I don't know Greg. It is a Haval made engine to their own design - as far as I know - but as I wrote in the review I am not a car expert. Sorry I can't help further.

Steve, it has an analogue speedo. I believe you can adjust the trip computer to show a digital speed readout but I have NOT tried this so I can't confidently tell you that my statement is factual. You should check with the dealer on this to be certain.

Yeah, interesting question. I've not seen any mention of belt changing intervals in the servicing schedule, which does suggest a timing chain setup?

Gabrielle T cant help you with your question as l am not up with all this lt stuff . my h2 has gps radio, CD, l can pay movies and thats all l want . The only advise is ask a Havel dealer and make sure it has to what you ask the dealer as some dealers dont even know to what you are asking. Tex

Thank u for your reply. Strangely enough the dealer wasn't able to answer my questions. The haval brand was just launched in Italy few months ago, they are not very prepared. This is why I ended up in this forum...

The new model Haval H2 with the revised front and grill, has Apple car play. The new car looks good, however they have dropped off the following features which to me, made the H2 a lot of fun. No more chrome around the front fog lights, no red painted brake calipers, no puddle light, no side vision camera, no climate control, no full size spare. Not biggies as such, but although the revised front and rear look good, I would look for a 2022 model, which had all these features. Prices for runout models should be very good!

Our car is just over two years old and still OK? But globes can be tricky. If it carries on you may have a short in the system somewhere?

Do mean fuel tank opener if it is it’s on the right hand front door when you open door lever is on pillow just below fuse holder it’s not a switch it’s a little lever . I have no fuel switch in my H2 it may be some thing new Havel have fitted to car Tex

to open the back door stnd behind the car and feel for a softer touch pad push it and the door will open

Price, and a couple of extras mine is aH2 lux got every thing gps, radio,CD player,CD movie player using main screen plu couple of other things mine has done 39000ks not a problem so far plus l don’t drive my car as high poweredcar. Tex

Hi Clare, I agree with Fred and Tex, we have had our Lux for 2 years, very happy with it and exceptional value. You get a lot of car for the money. I also think paying that bit extra is worth it, for the features you get with the Lux model.

Sir the H2lux is my car it’s done39000ks it’s. a2017 model have had no problems at all. I have heard of turbo problems with the H2 fitted with a manual gearboxes car driven like a high powered v8 pushing motor to max revs then turning motor of after thrashing motor turbos need to slow down for a couple of min . My H2lux handles well rides, comfortable, handles hills, flat surfaces, and is a auto to me a dam good car . Tex

We have done just over 20 000Ks in our H2 Lux, owned it for 2 years now. Everything works perfectly and it still looks brand new. Exceptional value for money and very comfortable on a long trip. Very happy with it indeed. Yes, you can hear the turbo "woosh" sound faintly every now and again. Can you believe a motoring journo, complained about that, in one review!?? Who ever heard of a "petrolhead"complaining about turbo noise!? (Assuming the motoring journo must be one surely, if you write about cars for a living!). That was in an early review, when the H2 was viewed with much suspicion, and the fact it was Chinese didn't seem to do it any favours!?? Lots of early critics were a bit red faced when it got awarded a 5 Star ANCAP safety rating however. I have been accused of being a "Haval agent", as I've written a lot about the H2 on various sites. But I'm not. What annoyed me was, after test driving the H2/H6 and being impressed enough to buy one, I thought a lot of families on a tight budget, would probably overlook the very low purchase price for the H2, because of all the nonsense written about it, and would thus miss out, on at least looking over/test driving/buying a great little SUV. Like other owners have realised I'm sure, for $25 000 brand new, the H2 Lux is a LOT of car for the money.

We've travelled 14000 kilometres in our H2 mainly in country with a couple visits to Brisbane, and we've found no problems at all with the car its comfortable and not squashy as other small cars, the 6 speed auto gearbox takes some getting used to especially when over taking other vehicles when the gears seem to be slow but you have the option to either go in to manual or stomp down on the accelerator and for a gear change.

My H2lux has done 36900 ks l brought mine jan 2017 no problems it’s comfortable drives we’ll use 95 fuel l run nitrogen in tyres and drive car as normal not as it’s a high powered car Tex

Had our H2 Lux for two years, over 20 000Ks, everything works perfectly and it still looks brand new. We find it very comfortable on a long trip. For the $25 000, which we paid, I think our H2 Lux was exceptional value for money, considering the very long list of features that come standard with the Lux model. The City has less features yes, but mechanically, it's identical not withstanding the manual gearbox. I think the City is still very good value, for under $20 000 brand new.

We had a Sat Nav and a tow bar fitted to our H2 Although the sat nav instructions are all in chinese it is easy to work out, I believe they are similar to Tom Tom.

We bought our H2 late last year and have traveled just over 13000 klm's with out any troubles at all,
I think its still is a reliable car and would not hesitate to travel long distances.

We have had ourH2 lux 19 months no problems been on long hauls no problems if we are in the market for a new car Havel would be first on list. Our car has done 38000ks local running 7.5 long runs down to 6.0 to 7.1 all bepends on how people drive their cars l hope tis helps you Ray

Had our H2 Lux for two years now, done 20 000kms totally trouble free. My daughter broke LHS wing mirror off reversing out garage...one small button press would have folded mirrors before reversing! Anyhow, such things happen. Waited about 4 weeks for spare, but about half of that time was caused by dealer ordering wrong part. All fixed now. We love the car, very comfy on a long trip. It’s proving to be exceptional value for money. New models next year I believe, but I'm sure new model prices will be higher. H2 City model under $20K amazing price...but for an extra $5K you can buy a Lux with all the bells and whistles!
