Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenI have used all the other brands haymes is miles in front.
I paint for a living & never had a single complaint
With the end product
Covers better with a perfect finish and all australian made .
Wouldn't wast my time to use any other brand very happy with haymes
Perfect
Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenPainting interior of old house badly in need.
Tried Haymes after looking at this site.
Beautiful, thick, creamy, vivid with good coverage, no splatter and easy to apply.
I won't even bother considering other brands for the rest of the house and in the future.
A pity it's not more widely stocked as I'm sure if it was it would take more market share off some of the 'big boys'.
Good to see a Australian Company apparently still focussing on quality and excellence of their product rather than being driven by other factors.
An artists impression
Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenIve used Dulux and its very, very good, yet a touch watery for its price. So, I switched to Haymes and I found it gorgeous to work with. Thick penetrating pigment, yet silky smooth to apply. The paint wont splatter. One coat application is almost sufficient, but im extra fussy. This paint is so great, it makes a novice look like a professional. Its gravy for your walls !!!!

Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenDidn't think about this paint until I switched brands. Realised that Haymes is far superior in coverage & finish. Two coats was required for a full cover. Switched to Taubmans as I was told it's a superior paint. 3 coats later & it looks like 1 coat- patchy and dull. I chose Airey Cream which is a lovely warm but not yellow cream. This will be the basis for all interior walls.

Brilliant paint, will only by Haymes from now on
Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenWe've just finished painting our whole house in Haymes and it's so brilliant. Having used a few of the major brands over the years and always been pretty happy, I'll only use Haymes from now on.
It goes on beautifully, thick and creamy, so easy to apply, no drips at all and the results are brilliant. Our 1940s home had original, flakey, powdery paint in various bright gelato shades and we were amazed that 2 coats was enough to cover to white including all the patching etc we had to do. Given the state of the original paint I can't believe h

We did actually get the Haymes Int Expressions tinted to a Dulux white as I preferred that white but the Haymes range of greys and beiges, colours that are typically hard to find the perfect one (not too purple, not too green etc!!) is beautiful. Also Noticeably very low paint fumes (especially reassuring with small children aroubd), often cheaper than Dulux etc and Australian family company, why would you choose anything else?! the guy in the paint shop said they get amazing feedback on Haymes (though they also carry 3 other major brands) and I can see why. they just don't have the marketing spend and retailer incentives of Dulux. PS I love Bunnings, but the service and advice at the independent paint shops (we went to Paint Spot Preston) every time is brilliant we keep going back there.Haymes Interior expressions - excellent paint (coverage and ease of application)
Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenHi,
Compared 4 interior paints. taubmans endure, new dulux wash and wear, solver maxi wash and haymes interior expressions. I painted a section on about 4 walls including our yellow bathroom walls, two coats on each.
Out of all of them I preferred the haymes. It had the best coverage, lowest gloss for a low sheen and was one of the easiest to apply. It has a nice creamy smooth finish. I found the solver a bit streaky leaving brush marks, the taubmans was too glossy for a low sheen but very smooth to apply and dulux wash an wear was a littl

The Haymes is a touch lighter than dulux whereas with taubmans and solver paints with a quarter hogs bristle turned out more grey than the slight brown warm dulux color. I also found out that Haymes is made locally in Victoria, Australian owned and made which is a bonus. The only thing I didn't check was washability of each paint. Now painting the whole unit with Haymes. Cheers Steve.Best covering wall paint I've used
Ultra Premium Expressions Interior Low SheenWow I went over a vibrant yellow colour trying to go back to White we'll a colour called bond white from haymes and two coats later it covered!
The guys at Bristol Charmhaven told me not to use a micro fibre sleeve as it puts the paint on thin, I was expecting 4 coats, Choice magazine also rated this paint Number 1 covering paint in Australia.
