Disappointed
Last Thursday I purchased over $18,000 of bathroom accessories from Highgrove Bathrooms. I signed paperwork for 3x Vanity bench tops to be made with 2x holes cut in each for the basins. I picked up the vanities on Saturday and then Monday morning I was rung to say that they can’t supply 2x Caesarstone bench tops because their suppliers didn’t want to buy new slabs as they weren’t doing many kitchen jobs. They were happy to take my money on Thursday- can anyone tell me where I stand on this matter

Fantastic service from the staff at Heatherbrae. We changed our mind on the vanity top and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was a problem and we were able to buy everything we needed for our renovation en-suite with great helpful advise. Very happy customers.

Very poor service.
The Capalaba branch refused to accept the return of an unused shower screen, despite being called the day before and being told it was ok to return. Waste of time taking time off to take it back there today. I was even happy for them to take it back for free, without a refund, but they would not even help with that, despite me being there with it.

hey suddenly became more helpful. That type of service is disgusting, they should be doing the right thing anyway. I ended up donating it to the recycling centre so it hopefully doesn’t go to waste. They have spent a lot advertising the current sale they have going, but won’t look after the customers they have. Don’t complain when people stop spending money there.Similar opinion? Absolutely woeful service - Penrith store
We have had nothing but problems with the Penrith store, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Ongoing delays with deliveries and waiting months after items were promised, then items lost in transit and refusal to replace. I deeply regret ever stepping foot into the store and will never ever purchase from them again. Our experience with head office was equally as disappointing.

Terrible customer service, no packaging
We ordered a shower screen glass from Highgrove Bathrooms in Cairns on the 23rd of January, the staff members guaranteed the item would definitely arrive before the 6th of feb which was our cut off date for a final inspection on the house, of course it wasn’t there until the 11th! at we organised a delivery driver to collect this glass screen from Highgrove Bathrooms, and guess what? The glass is not wrapped, there is no packaging at all! Called them back they told us they can’t do anything and tried to justify themselves saying that custom made glass screen don’t come with packaging!! And that the delivery driver should take responsibility in case of breakage!! What?? This is just unbelievable, we live 200km from Cairns now we have the choice of driving to Cairns with the only purpose of wrapping this glass or praying that it will arrive in one piece! With all the waste cardboard they have there I don’t think it would have been so difficult to provide a basic protection for the shower screen, but no of course they can’t do anything about it!! Poor experience
Delivery was arranged well in advance and advised it could not be fulfilled on the day until I pressed the matter further. Incorrect taps included in order and one ended up being broken, chip in bathtub flatly and rudely refused through warranty. An overall poor experience.

Rubbish Vanity basins
I purchased 2 vanity basins from Highgrove in Newcastle. Although they have been in for 6.5 years I did ring Highgrove at about the4.5 year mark. Couldnt really follow up as parents got sick (moved in with me) then passed so I was otherwise occupied. Basins started peeling at about the 4 year mark and now are shocking. Having to replace (and probably surrounding Ceasarstone as well as may crack taking basins out). Absolute rubbish. Told me in must be something I did ! What clean with soap and water??? Would not take any responsibility for bad product whatsoever. I really would expect a basin to last longer than this. My Caroma and Argent ones have. I would never buy from here again as they dont back their product. Felt duped!

Poor after purchase service
Built a new house and installed highgrove taps throughout. The taps look nice and were reasonably priced. But....the kitchen tap has had a persistent leak since I moved in 18 months ago. I have had the company come out to attempt repair on at least three occasions. The internal components of the tap are such that standard tools can’t tighten the nut. I actually waited for the store owner to grind down the outside of a large socket so that it could fit my tap! The store owner ultimately didn’t fix the leak, claimed company management were not supportive, and basically got tired of trying to resolve my complaint. In the end I gave up.

Highgrove Bathrooms - great service and good value for money
Highgrove Bathrooms provided all the key items for my renovated bathroom. Not only was each quality item I selected, delivered on time but my installer had no difficulties integrating each item into my new bathroom. Jamie Barker at the Summer Hill shop provided valuable advice on each item and how best to mix and match. I got great value for money and I can highly recommend the team there at Summer Hill as a one stop shop for all bathroom renovation needs.

I ordered a basin from high-growth bathrooms East Brisbane on Saturday. I was informed it was not required as the base included a basin in the original purchase but was not delivered. I had paid for the basin and contacted them to cancel the order. Their policy comes from the dark ages and I was informed that I should be grateful that I now had a store credit. and as a customer of Highgrove bathrooms for 15 years on the Gold Coast I will never purchase another item if this policy remains the same. I never even saw the basin what a hide. Helpful and very considerate staff.
Highgrove East Brisbane was recommended to us by our Tradie Ben Corias. Initially we were assisted by Cameron, and later by Tamara, both of whom could not have been more helpful. The showroom, whilst not huge, provided a good cross section, of appliances we were seeking, is supported by an informative website.

Tamara from Highgrove at East Brisbane is outstanding!
As a builder, I need to be able to rely heavily on my sub-contractors and suppliers to fulfill their roles as efficiently and constructively as possible, to ensure that I can continue to run my business as smoothly and effectively as I can.
When it comes to the bathroom/laundry/kitchen fit-outs on my projects, I have had no better experience with this sort of high level assistance than with Tamara Hilton from the East Brisbane Highgrove store. She is extremely professional, extremely helpful, and most importantly, she knows her products like the back of her hand. I have never had any issues dealing with this store, and always refer my clients to their showroom when making their fitting selections.

Highgrove Bathroom - A company I will never deal with again.
I bought 4 x 800mm Eden single bar heated towel rails from the Summer Hill store. These rails never heated up to the temperature of 50 degree claimed on the web site even though I wrapped the rails with towels. What is the point of heated towel rails that don't heat up to dry the towels? I That is, I believe, misleading advertising. I rang the store numerous times to clarify the situation. The receptionist always said the manager was in the meeting and he will call back later the same day but he never did. They only way you can get their attention is to file a complaint with Fair Trading NSW. Very disappointed with the product and service from this company. Please do not make same mistake as me. I would give a zero star if I could.

Highgrove Great but Toilet Seats crap
Purchase two Unica Wall-facing toilets a couple of years ago. The toilets are warranted for seven years; however, they are no longer stocked/ supported. This may not be a issue as the toilets seem excellect. However, BOTH toilet seats have failed (split in the centre front). I have been trying to get replacements for two weeks and the Ipswich branch tell me that they now have one. Anyone found an alternative to the cheap, Chinese ones supplied? (Ipswich are also trying to source another - myself and another customer are not the first to be affected, according to them.) By the way, there are no obese members in our family, just in case you thought otherwise!

We’ve had the best experience dealing with East Brisbane Highgrove Bathroom having gutted and completely renovated 3 bathrooms. Highgrove have on trend products at really good prices. We found the prices out of reach at other bathroom suppliers or the stuff we could afford was dated. Highgroves had everything we needed. One stop shop. Excellent service. Very responsive to our deadlines (some quite tight). Great quality. Great advice. If you are renovating bathrooms in Brisbane, start here. East Brisbane store and staff first rate.

Does this have any credence or authority here in Australia? I could find no Australian Standard marks on the glass. Feed back would be appreciated.

David did you get a certificate of compliance with these screens? Was it sold as Australian standard?
Hi Millie, I believe the screens are made in China, so are cheaper, but they do have an Australian Standard mark. The mark has a large A with a tick - underneath it says PAS-Mark. Next to that is AS/NZS 2208 Grade A TF 10 ID 7102. This is on the remaining screen next to the shower door. I don't remember a certificate of compliance - but it isn't something I thought was an issue. They are a pretty big bathroom supply co. They actually sold us a new screen at half price, which we were happy with. Still an expensive process once you include pick up and re-installation. Thanks for your interest.

Please note that the Ipswich staff put out an SOS to other store managers and a different model seat has now been purchased by me and fitted. It seems maybe a little more robust though slightly less white/ more cream. Fingers crossed!
