My cat really likes it
The vet suggested that we begin feeding our cat t/d dental mix as he was starting to show signs of gingivitis. The biscuits are larger than most other cat biscuits we've tried in the past. My cat can be a bit picky but loves t/d. His teeth have been looking a lot cleaner too!

Great for cats teeth and they love it.
My Kitty has been on T/D Feline dry food ever since she was one year old, she is now 6.
I don't give her this as her daily everyday dry food as she is on Hills Science Hairball control food, she only has 7 pieces in the morning and 5 at night and it has done wonders to her teeth, gums and breath.
Love Hills Science Diet food/s, but they can be very expensive.

Lives up to its claims
We began feeding our cat t/d a few months ago, hoping to improve his teeth and gums. Our vet said this food works and she was quite right. Our kitty loves the kibble, has a beautiful coat, and is in fine health. His teeth and gums look so much better! We feed him some meat too but t/d is his main food.

Why change the recipe of CD cat biscuits
Have been using Hills CD Bladder health for my cat for the last 3 years and had no problems until I purchased a new bag last week. I did notice the packaging had changed but was not concerned until my cat would not even look at them. Rang the vet and they were told the packaging had changed but the recipe was the same.yeah right tell my cat that.7 days later and still will not touch them.
I did get hold of some wet Royal Canin Urinary S/O and he seem to like it so I have order some dry biscuits in that brand (fingers crossed.by by Hills)

Be aware that this can cause weight gain and tooth decay??
I have given this to both of my cats for many years as the older one (who has now passed away) had some problems keeping his teeth clean. It was recommended by the vet to try and prevent having to have dental surgery.. and it did. Its a good tasting product .. both my cats loved it. At one time it was the only dry food i gave them. Then one day when i was buying a new packet the vet nurse told me not to give too much to them as it was coated with a hard coating of sugar to make it harder to crunch down on therefore making them use the teeth pro...Read more
perly. She said using it too much can cause weight gain and lead to diabetes and .. tooth decay!!. After that i stopped using it and my younger cat had to have dental surgery .. put her back on it but reduced the amount i gave her to just a few (5) balls in the morning and another 5 at night like a snack for her. I give her a holistic brand for the rest of the day as well as the 'wet' meat food morning and night. She seems happy and i feel its a good alternative instead of stopping it all together.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
My cats love it and it works
I've been feeding all my cats T/D and have so far avoided $400+ teeth cleaning bills. One slightly inflamed gum that has not progressed in years. I just got a new kitten and he prefers Science Diet to special kitten food. I'm at odds with the breeder who insists on another brand I can't find, but he's happy and I have reluctant agreement that it's ok for kittens. I buy the biggest bag and they eat it happily

Beats spending money on dental surgery!
I adopted a 3 year old cat from the human society six months ago, who had many issues that i was not told about. He became very ill shortly after I got him, had ulcers in his mouth and was very weak.He was diagnosed with feline herpes virus which also is followed by gingivitis. Turns out the gingivitis was making his virus which is life long flare up very badly causing him to be very ill all the time. It was not until recently when I got a second opinion by a new vet, that I was told about his gingivitis and that it was making him sick all th...Read more
e time. His vet prescribed T/D because with his illness he had previously I could not afford at the time to get his teeth professionally cleaned at the cost $347 and two teeth removed at $400. Within 3 weeks time his teeth are looking wonderful, no more getting sick. It actually saved the two back teeth the vet thought she may have to remove. This is the only thing I feed him and he loves it. It is costly but it is well worth the money it does much more then it is suppose to and it beats spending money on dental surgery or two cleanings a year. I would recommend this food to anyone who may have a cat or dog with dental disease or issues. It's something that should be tried for people who cannot get near their cat with a tooth brush, or who have a cat with mild gingivitis.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good results, but too expensive.....
I have six cats. None of them will eat raw bones for their dental health, so I add a couple of handfuls of t/d to their usual biscuits once per day. I have been doing this for 8 years and my oldest two cats are only now getting to the stage where they are going to need a dental in the coming months, but my youngest four (aged between 4 and 6) all have perfect teeth. I do not agree with dry only diets, and I don't believe any of my cats like the t/d that much that they'd be happy on these biscuits only. They are far too expensive and they c...Read more
ertainly are not an option for multi-cat households except an addition to the more reasonably priced biscuits. They definitely do the job. Overpriced. Only available in small and extra small bags, should have larger, more reasonably priced bags for multi-cat households.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
They just can't get enough, and it's healthy!
This food is designed to specifically maintain your cats oral health while also meeting all required nutrients. They love the taste and it's healthy for them to eat, I love getting it for my cats knowing they aren't eating anything unhealthy and they love the taste!
Healthy and cats love it!
Tends to be on the expensive side but well worth the purchase

It's rather ironic that this is promoted as specifically for oral health when biscuit type food does nothing to massage the gums since it basically shatters. If you're really interested in keeping yo... Read more

Our cat used to be extremely fussy with her food and we were constantly trying out all different brands. Often she would eat one type for a week or two and then stop eating it. Our vet then recommended this product for oral health reasons and our cat just loves it. She has been on this diet for 2 years and is going strong. The dry food only diet has not affected her stools and our vet insists is good for her. It is a bit more expensive as an initial outlay but they come in large sizes and I do believe it works out to be the same cost as feeding your cat commercial wet food.
Our cat just loves this product. Helps with tooth decay, comes recommended by our vet.
Perhaps a little expensive

My cats used to have very bad breath and I tried different foods without results. When I started them on T/D their oral health improved immediately, their teeth are now healthier looking too. Due to the price of the food I now meticulously calculate their feeding amount per day and their weight is now optimal. They also really like the taste. I have heard of the new "Advance" oral care brand wich is supposed to be as good. I may try it due to how expensive this food is becoming. A bit disapointing that they keep the bags the same size but t...Read more
here is less in them and you pay much more... At the end of the day, if T/d is better, that's what my cats will get... This food is complete and nutricious. My 2 cats teeth plaque improved a lot, as well as their bad breath. Price. I've been buying it for a while now and the price increased considerably along with the amount of food in Kg decreasing but the bag size remains the same...Similar opinion? I will keep buying this cat food. Long time ago I use to have a cat with terrible dental problems, and vet bills were much bigger then it would cost me to buy this food (poor cat suffered as well) Prevention is better then cure!
Cats just love it, and it says on the packet it is also good for them. I have two cats, and they are healthy .
It is imported and very expensive. I try to mix less expensive food with t/d, but cats are not stupid and they pick t/d out of the bowl and leave other food.

way to ensure in that case that the cat is getting oral care. In fact it is less expensive then dental cleaning and having teeth pulled. As far as the ingredients go they could be better, however they do provide the cat with everything they need. From what I can tell you believe that feeding your cat wet food is much better for them? Do you know that wet food can cause gingivitis because it sticks in the cats teeth and can actually cause tarter to probably build up faster then dry food, which can lead to tooth decay? Also it contains high amounts of ash which are more likely to cause urinary track infections and crystals. Please don't pretend that your an expert when you do not know what you are talking about clearly! A lot of people who have had success with this product have the right to give an opinion and write a good review without being judged or harassed.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

al failure (barely detectable then by extensive tests when she became blind). I replaced Hill's T/D with the anti-arthritis food, and noticed a few months later the cat had bad breath for the first time ever. In fact bad breath means bacteria that CAN attack the kidneys: Barely 9 months after we reduced her T/D diet to much smaller or near 0 amounts, due to the reliance on the Anti-arthritis food, the cat was in full kidney failure and had to be euthananized... I feel that with continuing Hill's T/D and using distilled water rather than Evian bottled water (minerals are said to be hard on kidneys), the cat's kidneys would have lasted longer... She was 14-15 so she probably would not have lived much more than one or two years, but the Hill's T/D really seemed truly excellent all her life, and I regret replacing it now... People criticize it for the chicken by-product content and all, but my cat seemed really healthy all her life with it... cleaned teeth and kept bad breath away expensiveSimilar opinion?
