Hi these fridges are a great price. From the above reviews there seems to have previously been an issue with the ice maker leaking on numerous fridges. Has this been looked at with your product and rectified? I am interested but would like to know that any issues have been listened to and the product modified. Thanks

malfunctions"

I love mine I've only had it for just over a year but it hasn't missed a beat. The crushed ice comes out a little bigger than it probably should but it's the only issue I have with the fridge(touch wood)

My icemaker has been leaking so I switched it into the off position while I was away for 3 weeks.
Since returning I have switched the ice maker back on but it won't take in any water to make ice.
I have also replaced the water filter thinking that may be the problem.
I have turned the fridge off and waited 5 min then turned back on.
Any suggestions out there?
The fridge is about 2 years old.

Hi Wayne no idea. We have called Hisense with any query. Once we were able to contact them they were fairly prompt. Currently our fridge has gone back to Fahrenheit and I have no idea how to fix and since it still works I’m not worried to chase it up
we had F4 code and the repair guy had to replace a thermostat, took him 3 weeks to get the part, he asked us to defrost the fridge as he couldn't get back panel off, so we did, turns out he was missing a few screws didn't need to defrost after all, now 6 months on ice maker is leaking :(

We didn’t. As it was faulting the guys sorted it under warranty. It’s done this twice, each time it’s been fixed

I don't know about doors coming off, but perhaps you could place the unit on a mat (so it can slide), open both doors and then "twist" through the door opening, a little like you do when you place a lounge suite on it's side and twist through the opening. I assume you have already removed the house door.

Love this fridge for the last 6 months. But now it seems to have a delay. When opening the door the light takes 3 or more seconds to come on. When you use the water or ice dispenser it takes 5 or more seconds to disperse and 5 seconds to stop dispensing. I have unplugged many times hoping to reset but it is still not working properly. Please any help?

Yes I had exactly the same issue! They changed the fridge 4 times but every one had the problem. This is even after they assured me the first 3 were just a faulty batch. Other than that I loved the fridge and was sorry to have to change to a Samsung. I would also have to mention that Hisense customer support were extremely helpful and even offered me a refund without me asking. The technician assigned to me said this was the first Hisense fridge with the icemaker in the fridge compartment.
