Network coverage is the same as optus. Have been using it for nearly 8 months. Havent experienced any drop outs yet. Data speed are also reasonable. Overall well priced.More data would be nice

I've never had any problem, neither has my son. We don't seem to have dropouts. The speed is sufficient. Also unlimited calls and texts is great. Wouldn't want to leave Hive.

very reliable and cheap, just what I wanted as I only ever required a phone and messaging service without the frills. no problems with coverage what's so ever. would recommend to anyone

I live in Balwyn Victoria, but travel to bendigo etc.and l haven't had any issues. Also l lost the 1st simm chip - I popped it out of the multi shap card and lost never to be found again. Rang the helpdesk, explained the problem and they sent a replacement over night free of charge.
At $10 a month get it and if it doesn't work your've lost a whole $10.

I am very very happy with Hive overall. The online service system is great, the responses from the email system are prompt and useful, and I don't miss being able to call a call centre. And the actual mobile service and reception is excellent where I am, which is Perth metro, though it functioned fine in Hobart and in Melbourne too. And 10GB for 28.80 is excellent, even with pretty consistent use. The only gripe I have is, I wish I could purchase extra data blocks. Occasionally the internet in my building is weird and I rely more heavily on my phone, so it would be nice to be able to modify that. But it is a budget service so it's hard to complain really.

Everything about my service is first class and great value for money. The direct debit function makes life easy when the end of the month comes around. It was so easy to join and everything promised has materialised.

Coverage and speed as good as any other provider. Billing occurs easily each month, no problem. The $10/month plan is excellent for teenagers and is great value. Have had no problems since joining. Can recommend!

great service no dropouts eveven better if 13 or 13000 were avaliable great for pensioners or unemployed custumer service is great they are very helpfull more important they are very willing to help

Disappointed with the lack of call inclusions such as 13 and 1300 numbers. Often experience 'black spots' with no reception. Some mobile numbers are called 'off network' and I get charged for them.

Again for my needs cannot beat this plan on cost coverage, reliability and speed. Well done Hive Mobile!
I would highly recommend this plan to anybody not seeking huge data downloads.

All fantasic have never had any issues.Excellent amount of data, excellent coverage, no dropouts, so far everywhere I've gone, I've had coverage. Cannot fault the service in any way at all.

We only us it for phone calls and sms.
For data we use our computer at home.
They use the Optus network and in Port Macquarie this is fine. Very Happy

Certainly meeting my needs for now.
Optus coverage at home (Frenchs Forest - Bantry Bay side) is hit and miss although now I've bought a new mobile phone I can make/take calls inside without having to stand on the front veranda to get enough signal strength.
I have had a need to make overseas calls which Hive doesn't provide but I get around that by using free messaging apps. eg. Viber
No dropouts - haven't had to use customer service yet - auto credit card payments are working well and the invoices provide all the details I need to know.
All and all I'm happy.

Everyone I spoke to was competent, informative, and friendly. I have never had a problem with network coverage or data speed. Several minor issues were solved quickly with a phone call to support.

I have only ever used mobile providers who use the Optus network in the past 10 years - meaning I know very well what network coverage is like on the network. Hive Mobile uses the Optus network and performs very well, with coverage and speeds exactly as expected.
4G coverage is quick and reliable, especially within built-up areas. And even stepping down to 3G in more rural areas coverage is still good. I have had no drop-outs of any sort since signing up to Hive Mobile.

Good network coverage better than anywhere I had even better than Telstra and their is absolute No drop outs what so ever and I must say Very fast data speeds

Easy port of my number, easy to deal with even though call center hours are limited. I did send a message through messenger took awhile for someone to get back to me. Ended up calling the call center and they fixed the request straight away. Good coverage using the Optus network.

No issues with coverage or speed and I find the $18.80 plan to be great value, with just the right amount of data for my requirements. I would definitely recommend.

Good coverage, haven't had any problems or concerns thus far. Easy process to sign up and transfer from previous provider. Very good value for money with unlimited calls/texts. Data plans aren't huge but sufficient for what i need.
