Average car, Poor Customer support- broken hearted
I use this car every day. I bought a second hand 2017 LT with 70,000km on the clock from a large dealer. I mainly wanted a comfy tow vehicle, one with a reverse camera so I could hitch the trailer by myself. I took a few cars for a test drive. After reading many reviews and 6 months searching I decided on getting a Holden Trailblazer. (I was a holden fan aswell). In general the car does what it is asked of it. Great fuel economy and lots of torque. A good workhouse, surprising lots of the leg room for the 3rd row. However;

Failblazer and the non existance of Holdens former Glory
I bought my Trailblazer in November of 2018 as my wife and I decided to Part ways with my VF SS Storm due to having the larger family and a V8 couldn't fit us all.
We were sold the LT Trailblazer- in fact all of the models of this line as being better than our Toyota Prado, more versatile than any other 7 seater cars on the market and the best value for money especially when it came to reliability and operatibility.
Since owning the car we have had nothing but dramas;
1. 4WD mode gives a loud cluncking from the transmission- we can't even get a...Read more
cross our backyard without losing power and getting bogged. 2. One occasion where I returned home and locked the car, only to find out the cars power management system and fuse box Chernobyled and we lost use of the car for almost a week due to "unknown" issues that required another trailblazer from the dealership to be stripped of the fuse box and other "assorted" electrical parts. 3. Several times this has occurred: Total Dashboard power failure follwed by loss of control of the car and then the car returning to limp mode. THe last occasion happened on the Great Northern Highway (WA) resulting in a road train almost ramming us due to this fault. We have been told it was rodents eating the cables in the car, through to unknown error codes and are still waiting to hear back about this issue (I did mention the DPF may be an issue as others on other review sites have mentioned). It is now week 2 and we have no answer. I have lost all faith in Holden and its products, and if I were to chose again would have settled for an Isuzu or anything that has been proven over and over rather than a rebadged chev that has more issues than the Kardashians.
Purchased in November 2021 at Holden Dealers for $54,000.00.

Surprised
Traded the much Loved D.Max. Only because of the dealers. (Isuzu) what a surprise tows 2.8 tonne bueatifully. Much more torque, 6 speed auto lets you use cruise much more. Very comfortable, better fuel consumption, Didn't believe I could do better than the old D,Max. (wrong very wrong) It,s just a pleasure to tow with.

I have a persistent rattling noise coming from the tailgate. I seem to think it may be the plastic moulding around the window, but everytime I put spaces in it seems to continue rattling somewhere else. Does anybody else have this problem?

ssue). We have been told that only a repair report will be presented to us whilst a fault report will not. These cars whilst having the potential to be great are also a death trap waiting to happen- I'd recommend if you have similar issues taking it straight in to have the fault rectified.
