Love this car!
I purchased my vehicle for driving to and from work in the Sydney traffic.
It's fantastic for a daily commuter. I use it every day and spend $60-80 a fortnight in fuel.
Not an issue at all in 2.5 years. Car is perfect. Would recommend.
Only gripe I have is the carpet is so thin everything gets stuck in it making it hard to maintain.
Purchased in June 2021 for $25,000.00.

Excellent SUV. Great size !
Bought Holden Trax LTZ 2017. Over 40,000 Kims later not 1 problem. Free servicing to 60,000. Then fixed price. Drives very well, great features. Apple car play. Bluetooth. Well appointed and easy to drive. Not overpriced like a lot if small mid SUVs. Plenty of power for city driving and country trips. Serviced regularly by Holden. Daily driver city traffic. Exceeded expectations on fuel economy. Highly recommended over many others on the market !
Purchased in September 2021.

Happy with our Trax!
So far so good, it’s what we expect from a new car. It’s perfect for Sydney traffic and love all the LTZ has to offer.
I read that Trax is one of the most reliable car in the USA, hopefully that’s true!
Overall it’s fun car to drive with a punchy engine!

Let down by Holden Customer Service
Great Car to drive, arm rest for the driver is great but the seat could probably be a little softer .Good petrol economy on a trip and not bad around town .Unfortunately it only runs on premium unleaded which is 10 -15% dearer, so you don't really get the value. Unfortunately I am having continuous issues with the infotainment unit and holden customer service are passing the buck to the app provider.
The issues are 1/ overheating of the phone with consistent use - app developer has admitted this is a problem and there is no fix as yet

great small suv
our Holden Trax lts is a great small suv the just lacks climate control as you would think it should have for top of the range but other than that i'ts great to drive the 1.4 litre turbo gets it up hills with no trouble and its great on fuel with the prices now going up you have money in ya pocket update to this car don't get a flat tyre you will be up crap creek as ltz comes with spare not the tyre repair gas but the jack doesn't get high enough to put spare on really stupid idea so i have 4 stars for the car but for tyre repair i give a zero bad design

Perfect little big car
I wanted a bigger car then the one i had, this car is a perfect mix of big and little,
not too huge in terms of width but a bit taller and more grunt than most small cars.
Great fuel efficiency however, computer states oil life has deteriorated quicker than i would have thought.

Perfect and great value
Had this car for just over 3 months. Just love it. Its motor is small but has all the zip needed to drive around town or on the highway. many great features that cars of this level don't have. For a small SUV it has a lot of room inside. The head room is more than enough. Compared with other cars of the same size it has more height inside.

I'm in love
I brought my 2016 1.4L Turbo Trax 8 months ago. I absolutely love it. I have driven 42 hours this week and it did not miss a beat. The turbo is great for over taking - You do need to use Premium Unleaded Fuel however, I think this is the best choice with any new car. Value for money. The heated leather seats are great in Winter. I have folded the back seats down and slept in the car with a single mattress, blanket & pillow while camping. I love the height of the car and how simple it is to drive. Great speakers, I love loud music but I can neve...Read more
r have it all on full board in this car. Despite buying the Trax second hand, Holden still caps my service price which is cheap & easy. The only flaw I have of this car is boot space as my partner loves golf but the boot is not large enough to fit clubs. All models come with a reverse camera which beeps if you are getting to close to anything. I would recommend this car to anyone!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great value compact SUV
I have had my Trax for almost six months and am generally very happy with it overall. The Blind spit alert is probably my favourite feature, which comes in the Ltz model and the heated faux leather seats in winter were nice. I wish it had front sensor alerts like my previous car (VW) which is the only thing I miss from my VW, and maybe a little more power. Turbo is great on the highway for overtaking.

Great Car
My new Holden Trax LTZ is fantastic. It's very economical, comfortable to drive and I love all the extra options included such as the keyless entry. It's very handy when I have a handful of groceries I don't have to fuss around and look for my keys, the remote access is great. The heated seats and sunroof are also an added luxury for a $30,000 car. Highly recommend.

Great car.
We purchased a second- hand Trax (Turbo) and have been driving it for 8 months now and it's the best car I've ever driven in the 50 years I've had my licence. It's a little bit heavy on the fuel but it handles really well, has enough power when needed and provides sufficient leg room. The only down side is that the seats are bit too firm for me but otherwise it's a great car.

media device _ NOT HAPPY
Vey disappointed at the lack of support shown by Holden after Pandora ceased operating.
As a consumer I am extremely disappointed. I purchased a new LTZ Turbo Trax 2016, which was at significant cost to me, I also opted to get the top of the range, as this was to be the car that would allow me to have many years of hassle free driving. One of the advertised selling points was the MY car entertainment system. While I’m aware that your company had no control over the demise of Pandora, NEITHER DID I, and I don’t believe I should be left disadv...Read more

One of the best cars I've had
I flog this car, it's done 80,000ks all over NSW in two years.
Never misses a beat
It still has its original brake pads!
Cheap to service & run. Holden servicing is first rate.
The other thing I like is it has good radio reception, I can still pick up 2gb in Dubbo.
It has a good heating & cooling system.
Plenty of room on the inside, front leg room is massive.
It's a totally underrated car.
I can't fault it.

Great SUV
I love the Holden LTZ Traz. It is just the right size/height to easily get in and out of the car. Plenty of leg room both in the front and the back, comfortable seats. Easy to drive. Plenty of get up and go. Nice neat little car. The rear view cameras are a great help.

Best for dog travel !!
I love my LTZ Trax it is the best to travel with my Hounds and they are safe because the seats block the gap that is usually there between the front sets and the back ones . Safety is imperative to me for my Hounds and this SUV has it all, compact but big enough for 3 large Hounds and access from both the back and side doors !! Very comfortable for the driver and passengers with the front seats heating when needed . Usb for sound and a power point in the back for any travel needs . I Love this SUV !!!
Purchased in July 2021.

Great SUV - Highly recommended
When I looked around for a smaller SUV, I whittled it down to 3 brands. Holden Renault & Subaru. I took into consideration value for money, all round quality and performance. The HOLDEN TRAX won the prize by a mile. This is a highly under rated vehicle. I am so happy with it, and I was told it won a Euro car of the year with a different badge. No wonder, its got the works.

Heaps of Problems!
My Holden Trax LTZ purchased new in 2014 experiences a variety of Problems that Holden continue to ignore! Firstly my Trax has had multiple flat batteries despite the vehicle being off - NRMA has had to come to my rescue a few times! Secondly a whining noise in the cabin when accelerating always presents itself (Holden refuse to accept the issue as legitimate), thirdly I get a ridiculously little amount of Power when AC is on! My Trax also had faulty leather which took over 3 months to get replaced under warranty, key gets jammed in the ignitio...Read more
n, reverse camera regularly fails and requests service, plus the lights on my gears get very very hot! Seatbelt buckles in the back fall in the seats forcing me to remove Baby seat to lift chairs to put back in place! Holden refuses this is the issue of the car and blames faults on driver - this was the first and last Holden I will own! Never will I purchase another LEMON of a car again!Similar opinion? Neat, nimble, nearly perfect
I chose the 1.8L normally aspirated engine when buying my new Trax last October. So far I'm quite happy with it - love the ease of stepping into and out of it, and the ability to lay the rear seats down flat. It's zippy around town, with very light steering and a good turning circle. And very cheap to run, especially with the lifetime free servicing which means the 9 month recommended intervals don't impact the hip pocket.
Pros: reversing camera is brilliant and I like the "pleather" seats. Dashboard is clear and easy to read.
Cons: no CD pla...Read more

Hi, I have a 2020 Ltz and I’d like to install a subwoofer. Can a subwoofer be installed onto the existing amp or will I need to install a sub with its own amp? If it can be installed to the existing amp, do you know the specs of the amp so I can select a suitable sub? Thanks.
