2012 sv6 z model steering column side to side movement any ideas why ?

My vz Holden one toner drives but when excellerating it red lines but won’t change gears and since then some times when reversing it gets a wobble checked transmission fluid it full but a little dark

I recently purchased a 2008 ss VE ute, very clean with 170k's. the car is great, but in the 3 weeks I've owned it i have experienced a failure to start...the engine fires, then dies, as if the fuel pump has been shut off. After 2 or 3 attempts it always starts, but this is an intermittent fault....it will be fine for a few days and then it recurs. Would a plug in scanner like an OBD 2 reveal what the problem is? The car is my pride and joy and i was just hoping for some advice.

My sv6 Holden 2006 wont start as it seems to be stuck in gear but the auto gear leaver is moving to easy and not engaging how to fix this problem?

Just wondering if anyone knows the fix for the 6 stacker cd player not playing as I've put 4 discs in and it started playing but now just keeps coming up with a MECH on the front of the screen and won't play, it won't even let me eject the cds 2003 SS Commodore?

Hi, I’ve owned my ss thunder 2012 6.0L ve series 2 manual. So far I’ve had the OTR, 3Inch catback from the heads, and a cam package.ive been haveing major issues with the fuel pump in the last year. I’ve gone through 4 fuel pumps and I do t do burnouts etc. we have reorder twice from Holden and have tried customs ones but still haveing issues. The pump won’t complete die, it’s sometimes starts and then sometime it won’t. The times when it doesn’t start I get under where the fuel tank is and smack it a couple of times and the pump kicks back in, this goes on for about 3 months and then out of nowhere she won’t start. Any ideas please? I’m in need of a different solution besides fuel pump? Could anything else be affecting the pump. ? I really want this fixed cause it is starting to bug me and I think I might just sell it. Cheers Bryan

I have a Storm vz ute the toggles on the steering wheel are broken,i purchased a set of vz toggles from the wreckers but they aren`t the same.So are the toggles for the Storm different to normal vz if so does anyone know where to get a set from.Thanks.

Hi All! I've been a Holden man all my life from the time I bought my first car an HT Holden right thru till I just bought my first ever brand new car a vf sv6 ute only had it a few weeks, any way I have noticed that after about an hour or so driving I start to get a sore lower back from the seating position I've tried raising the seat lowering the seat, back of seat forward and back lumbar support, etc. I noticed the same problem in the commodore cars we drive at work but just put it down to the seats being well worn after 300,000 plus klms. My last car a 2000 model vs commodore the seats were fine my vx was fine my vt was fine. It feels like the back of the base of the seat needs to be raised a bit, has anyone else got the same problems or a solution to the problem? My wife has a Mazda cx5 and the seats in it are excellent.

How do I replace the rear screen in my vy ss ute please?

I have a my12.5 sv6 ve ute manual. It was having intermittent gear box issues. At times when i pulled up to a set of lights it would not go back into 1st gear. It was like something was blocking it from going into gear.every time I took it to the dealer they couldn't fault it. holden replaced the gearbox even though they couldn't fault the car. Now I'm getting a rough idle and shudder through the shifter. Again every time I take it to holden they say no fault codes are present when we plug it in to our diagnostic
computer. I'm getting it independently tested on Saturday. This is after taking holden to the consumer tenancy and trade tribunal over the same issue with my 2011 sv6 ute. Again holden are saying they are unable to replace or refund the vehicle. I'm sure everyone has similar stories re poor service has anyone had this gearbox issue?

What price of a 2007,2008,or 2009, model?
