Line issues, don't buy!
The line cut at the spool exit during operation 5 or 6 times during 10 minutes of operation. I used a combination of the supplied line and after market line, and both cut prematurely numerous times during operation. You spend more time replacing the line than you do using it. Terrible. Only positives are that it is light weight and it starts ok. It's cheap, but it's not worth paying anything if it doesn't operate to a reasonable expectation. Spend some more and buy something half decent.

Terrible. do not waste your money
Bought it today, took forever to finally get it going, even though I followed the instructions to a T. cord broke quite often so I had to replace it twice within 5 mins. had a break of a few hours after the third cord breakage. Now it completely refuses to start, so I paid $109 from bunnings for 5 mins of work. Do not waste your money.

Great unit for price.
Started first crack out of the box. Hand gets a bit warm near power head but no biggy.
Started hot no problems.
Very economical on the fuel.
Amazing value when you consider you are buying a petrol engine brand new for under $100 AUD.
Not a huge fan of the freewheeling / centrifugal clutch type machines but will get used to it.
Will put a bump feed head on it when the 5 included strings are used up.
Buy with confidence.

Used more cord than on my clothsline
No problems starting or running BUT the cord breaks within 20 seconds ofuse. Have tried all sorts of cord but all break at threading hole. Doing my edges takes 4x the time of any other edger I have used. Not recommended

Absolute rubbish- brand new and won't start
This whipper snipper is absolute rubbish, brand new straight out the box and won't start. Fresh 98 octane fuel and new 2 stroke oil, used every method in the troubleshooting section of the manual and still won't start. Don't even bother.

Terrible, buy something else. Wasted time.
Returned it next day. Stops when turned sideways. Cannot hot start. Trouble on cold start. Smoke coming out of where clutch sites- after 5 minutes of operation. Low power- having trouble cutting dry grass edge. fixed line head- cord snaps after a few minutes then won't start when hot. NO stars if I could.
