Great Value For Money
We bought this Honda in 2010 second hand and hasn't missed a beat in all that time. Has been serviced regularly and no problems mechanically. Ultra comfortable and has extras that are now standard in later model vehicles.
Purchased in January 2021 at Used Vehicle Sales for $10,000.00.

To Perfect to Sell
Bought new in 2006 and now 12 years old with 331,000 km on it now. This car was to be sold after seven years but I cannot part with it as it looks and drives like new. Apart from expensive and frequent dealer servicing at every 10,000 km this car has cost me nothing to run over and above serving plus normal wear items (tyre, battery, brakes). On a trip L/100 down to 6.7 and rarely over 10 in town driving. Yes, steering turn in is a bit slow but I have leant to adjust to that.

Pleasant surprise coming from BMW's
Well I had my reservations coming from multiple BMW's. I have always loved Honda motorcycles so I gave the accord a look. Found a 2006 model with only 80,000km on it in 2017 and in absolutely pristine condition. Black leather seats with electric adjustment and fog lights. I expected it to be reliable but I had no idea they are so refined and beautifully crafted. It feels like a quality vehicle, right up there with BMW's but without the feeling of imminent faults. The engine is a masterpiece given that it's a mass-produced Malaysian model ...Read more
and the feel through the steering and comfort is sublime. Smooth, comfortable yet somehow still fun to drive. Toyota Camry's, their main competitor, are absolutely soulless in comparison. These Accords are an unsung hero of the mass-produced automotive world. I am sure the V6 would be a hoot, but to be honest, the 2.4 is totally adequate and a perfect match for this brilliant car. I can't see myself going back to German/European after this.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Bought this second hand, happy with my purchase
I moved to sydney last year and bought this car from a honda dealer. The car is spacious and the pick is great. Swift and easy to drive. Sturdy and strong. Great leg space. Its fuel efficiency is not so good so a bit costly in that aspect. Otherwise I am happy with this car. Its a reliable family car

Once with a Honda, always with a Honda
Been driving a Honda for more than 20 years. My current Honda is a 30th Anniversary Honda Accord 2.4ltrs model.
Honda cars always handle well and very quiet on the inside. Their auto gearbox last a long time but needs to provide regular lubrication service. Love the powerful acceleration when required and very safe car to drive.
Once you drive a Honda, you will always want another.

Decent car
Have had the car for 9 yrs and having done almost 180,000 km now. Drove the car mostly between home and office in metro Melbourne with occasional long trips within and inter states. The car seems to be well built with no major mechanical problems aside from usual wear and tear. The body paint seems to scratch easily. Aircon still strong. Still rides well. Slightly more expensive to service. Overall it is a decent car for this class of Japanese though Thai built car.

My Experience with Honda.
I was suitably impressed with the Honda Accuracy in their Engineering in 1967.(Working as a Mechanic)
I have since owned about 35 Honda's.
1/ Performance has always good handling whilst not as good as some European cars is satisfactory.
Road noise is enhanced by chunky tread tyres and alloy wheels. High profile tyres and soft tread fine pattern tyres make for a more quiet ride. Australian course grain bitumen roads don't help with road noise.
2/ All of my Accords have Leather Interior and I use a suitable leather treat at least once a year and have only a had a few areas of concern.(scuffing)
3/ Economy is great and all of the cars have been extremely reliable. No major parts have had to be replaced.

maybe ok when new
Acquired V6 MY2005 with ~65k km in 2012.
Negatives: In ~25k km of ownership replaced (these problems developed during the ownership period): 2 x lock door actuators (from eBay), complete fuel supply unit (2nd hand from wreckers for $150 AUD vs. $600 new).
Repaired broken boot release cable using $10 AUD extra-strength tape adhesive (garage quoted $750 AUD for complete replacement).
Ignition lock locked ignition keys twice (self-released after several movements from P to D, N and back to P).
Low pressure oil indicator intermittently li...Read more

Cant fault it
Bought this vehicle new, and 8 years later still very impressed. Plenty of power, smooth ride, handles well, very safe with heaps of airbags (although on recall like many other brand cars). Apart from servicing and the usual things like brakes and batteries, has only been in the workshop once. Servicing at Honda dealerships is expensive and this is why I haven't had a full service for years - simply change oil and fluids etc myself.

Great 2005 Honda V6
The best car I have owned! Comfortable, leather seats, quiet powerful motor, quite cabin, plenty of boot space and leg room. Just one issue - when accelerating from a low speed there is a slight hesitation (lag) which appears to be common with some Honda V6 models. It is a bit thirsty around town, but I get good mileage on trips.
Quiet, powerful, roomy, solid, great cabin finish, great exterior looks!
Just a slight lag when accelerating from low speeds.

Comfort and Style
I bought a 2005 Honda Accord in 2011. This car has aged well. It is comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The V6 does take more petrol of couse but the extra power is worth it. Although it is 6 years old people are commenting on its great design.
Stylish, comfortable and a pleasure to drive
No rear wiper, Only one intermittent wiper speed,

Beautiful car. Love It!
Bought my 2003 Accord V6 secondhand in 2009 and still love it in 2011.
* The drive is smooth, and the power is really nice.
* Braking is excellent- I have stopped from 80KMph to 0 in 10 mts without the burning tyre smells, squealing and smoke. The braking was very controlled and without any jerking on the passengers. I dont think anyone at the intersection even noticed that it was a sudden stop.
* I feel very safe in this car as far as driving in rain, control around curves etc.
* love the traction control - can see it kicking in especially when the car maybe on a bit of gravel and turning.

Excellent
Honda don't disappoint (unlike Holden). More expensive than toyota by 2000-3000, but you get a better build and more luxury. Handling relatively smooth, but turning is a little insufficient.
Have the 2007 Honda Accord VTI-L. Very comfortable quiet drive. Great family car. Comfortable. Not a single problem!
Difficult to estimate edges when parking as the shape drops away. Visibility is OK. Water jets for windscreen hit the wipers and not the windscreen. Shape of the wipers make it hard to design jets that go over the wipers. Turns like a bus.

Excellent
This is a beautiful car inside and outside. I have the four cylinder and it could do with a bit more power, but it is adequate. Ergonomically, the car is near perfect, the controls are easily reachable and provides for great comfort. The centre console is easy to understand and is attractive. There is plenty of room in the back seat for 3 passengers. The car has a full-size spare and all the necessary tools are available for tyre changes.
Comfortable, quiet, spacious, attractive.
Boot is not as large as it could be and it is not very tall. Fuel economy is good, but not fantastic.
