This was my first SUV and I am really happy with it. I got the Luxury model which has all the mod cons, and apart from the height, does not feel much different to a regular luxury car. I love the parcel shelf in the boot as it makes it so much better to load it up, being able to separate things. I have not had one second of trouble from it, and would not hesitate to buy it again.
Looks good; Very reliable; Shelf in boot a great idea; Heaps of Boot space
Visibility an issue when a car seat is positioned behind the front passenger seat;

Had it from new three years now, top car!!! Very economical and handles nicely. It's an SUV, but it drives like a car. I test drove a few different makes and models, but am very glad I got this one.
Love everything about this car - handling, size, performance, interior, exterior.....
Only thing I would change is to add a handbrake and not just the floor brake.

One of the safest cars for kids to be in when involved in an accident. Drives like a sedan and has excellent brakes. There are not enough options available for the Australian model compared to eg: England or Japan. Would recommend for a city driver with plenty of room. Would recommend the Basic model as better overall value when compared to the sport or luxury model.
Stylish design, leather seats, 6 in-dash cd player with IPOD input, interior night lighting, not too big to drive or park and comfortable. Child ISOFIX points and child seat belts (...Read more

Had car for a few weeks and very happy with it. Has lots of goodies in it and is good value for money. Excellent quality and finish inside and has lots of room inside. Handles like a car and has enough power to keep you happy. Even was surprised how good the sound system was, excellent crisp sound. The ride is pretty quiet and steering is direct. The foot operated park brake is unusual and takes a bit of time to get use to and the range of colours isn't great but I think the dark ones look better, also if you pick a colour you can not choose the interior colour as you have to take whatever colour interior comes with the outside colour.
But overall this is a great car and I am happy I bought it.

My main criteria was safety and a good drive - and whilst subaru is 5 stars rather than cr-v 4 star the ride is not as good. I am very happy with the vehicle - it is a lot more stylish than its competitors and the ride is far superior.
Drives like a car. Accelerates well. Stylish inside [except for the silly front door handles]. Great stereo sound. The best thing is about this car is the ride - it is smooth, takes corners nicely without having to hang onto your seat, the auto gear changing is smooth, road noise is no worse then many cars.

Just the kind of stable car for a safe feel when I am travelling long distance for example weekend trips in the country. Lots of space for luggage. Good family car.
Affordable. Safe feel. Comfortable seatings.
Uses a lot of fuel for its running. Air conditioner is low powered and not cool enough even when turned to its limit.

Had mine now for two years and without doubt I would buy another Honda. This CRV is far better than the previous model with the tyre on the rear door. Very roomy rear compartment. I think easily better than the Holden Captiva (which a friend has). Its a well put together car. No problems at all. Pearlescent grey is easy to maintain as well.
Well manufactured, reliable, roomy for its class, proper spare wheel, looks good.
Honda accessories are expensive as can their servicing. If your using roof racks on this you don't want to be too short or you'll need a step.

I would recomend any one to buy a Honda CRV. A very reliable vehicle which is spacious and comfortable to ride in.
I have owned two cvrs and my lastest is by far the better. A much smoother ride with better control on the open road. Very suitable for all road types and good prtrol consumtion in these times of high petrol cost. Great after sales service from my dealer which makes life easy.. Warranty work carried out with out a hitch, is a big plus. Love been able to fold seat down as I often have to pick up large item from the nearest major town.
The new model hasnt the big wet bin under the back floor as the earlier models had which I miss.

Purchased the Sports in September 07. Overall very pleased. Had been driving BMW 3 series. This is a real change and one I am glad I made. Just a pleasure to drive. Service from Honda fantastic. Still not convinced it is that economical - getting 11.6l per 100Kms. However, would make same decision. Will like it better when I get used to blinkers and petrol cap being on different sides.
Responsive to drive. Ample acceleration. Great turning circle. Speaks to my IPOD. Very comfortable and excellent storage capacity for golf gear. It looks great and great steering wheel controls.
The console should extend to dash. Can't put anything on passenger floor without it drifting over to driver. Needs bluetooth.

Purchased (new) the 4WD Ex-L in Bangkok, in Dec 07 and have not regretted. The almost perfect alround, soft roader SUV, faultless assembly, adequate power,a ton of room, and impeccable road manners (even in Bangkok traffic). A five star (max) US safety rating and a vehicle comparitively worth every cent. Would positively recommend to anyone... and to all the negative critics .. "Drive One!" My local Bangkok dealership, Honda Pratumwan, support /service is absolutely faultless.

OK
It is probably not something I would personally like to drive but I am sure it does what it is designed to do.
I really like the fuel economy and that it is spacious.
I don't really like the side view in the back 3/4 panel it looks a bit strange with the small glass window.
