If I could give it no stars and write a review I would!
We were a Honda family for life as they had always provided great service and great vehicles - This was my 5th Honda. As we had enjoyed such great service and cars. We bought the CRV VTI-LX for my husband's work vehicle back in November 2018 it was a demo model and seemed like a great deal- And car fit the brief of what we needed. He was in the car every day and up until this point he loved it. However on the 24th December last year after a couple of very very hot days, the car blew up! We were advised that it was due to a lack of servi...Read more
cing and whilst the car had been serviced we were advised that it wasn't serviced enough (It had been serviced- just not as frequently as Honda suggested) and this was the reason for the motor blowing up. We were quoted over $25000 to have the motor replaced! No help from Honda no consideration and zero help to have the car fixed in any way- Just a whole bunch of finger pointing and ridiculous quotation to fix. Beware when considering Honda is the moral to this story.Purchased in November 2021 for $42,000.00.

I must have bought the lemon
I bought the CRV VTi LX in September 2017. Within 6 months the display screen started playing up and as automatically resetting itself continually while I was driving. After a number of visits to the dealer to have it reset, they had to replace the entire unit. Then there's the driver's seat warmer playing up - often switches itself off within a couple of minutes of being on and then I sometimes can't turn it on again. Then today, I put the shift lever into reverse, then into drive ... and the shift lever button on the side fell off! Yep, sna...Read more
pped off and landed on the floor. Cheap plastic completely broken and the spring fell out. Luckily I was able to drive straight home and didn't need to change into reverse at any time. I could put it in park when I got home, so put the brake on and my husband had to disconnect the battery as it wouldn't allow me to completely turn off the car electrics because it wasn't in park! All this on a Saturday afternoon and the dealer doesn't open till Monday. So I'm now waiting to see if I will receive a follow up phone call in response to my phone call and email. I will never, ever buy another Honda. The drive is luxurious and it has terrific safety features but it is a cheap build and I'm extremely disappointed that I bought it. This is only within the first year. I wonder what else is going to go wrong?!

Love the Luxury
I purchased the good looking CRV vti-lx AWD after checking out both the HRV and CRV. Once inside the CRV I knew this was for me. Its very easy to drive. The cabin has a lovely look and feel with soft touch surfaces, leather seats and large sunroof. The large screen is super bright and easy to use. The automatic tailgate works great. Can't do without the left camera now I'm used to it. Lots of space and economical to drive too. It did take me a couple of days to get my head around setting the safety features in the car.
Connectivity makes it eas...Read more

Sept2015 purchased top of line CRV as per below comments on it:
Having looked at various medium size SUVs boiled down to two contenders. The Honda CRV Vtil 4 x4. 2.4lt came out the winner as the other contender did not have a full size spare and only a half width arm rest. The attention to finish of vehicle both inside and out is very impressive. Driving comfort is very good with ample leg room even for a tall person as is head room. Performance from the 2.4lt petrol engine is as expected for a modern 4 cyl engine. Could do with a bit mor...Read more
