Yes, Just drill two holes and place them where you want. We have successfully done this and gone 2-up heaps of times on the Bushy.

How long does the monoshock typically last? The outer dust seal on mine came off and I'm concerned as to how long it will be before the inner seal goes. My bike has done 8600km of dirt riding. And monoshock is apparently not serviceable and agent wants crazy price for new unit.

I have noticed movement on the rear sprocket of my honda ctx 200, I cannot find a site that explains the assembly of the rear wheel sprocket and if that movement is normal. Any ideas?

Hi James. some movement is normal as there are rubber dampeners inside the hub. Excessive movement could mean that they are worn out or the retaining bolts of the sprocket are loose. you will have to take the wheel of and pull the side of the hub of where the sprocket is attached to find out.

This is usually related to either wear (in sprockets and chain) or setting of chain (too loose). New sprockets and correctly set chain (not too loose) should cure problem. Lastly - chain guide and rollers need to be present and effective to keep chain on for 'spirited' riding over rough terrain when chain jumps around the most.

Hi. hope this feed is still live.

Loving the CTX, been trying to look after it myself, and the clutch cable has come loose, or broke. Any idea of ow to replace

If it's broken, the clutch cable is part number 22870-KHA-940. $30 AUD.
Have a good look at how your clutch cable is already installed, and you'll be able to work out how to replace it.

most likely a blown fuse. If it is and it blowns again you will have to find the cause. Sometimes they blow when the headlight bulb give up and it shorts.

I have a 1993 CT200 Auto Ag, and I've just drowned it. Fell in a ditch. We took it home and emptied out the air filter and carby and took out the spark plug and blasted any water from in there. Barely had to do anything before the tough old bike started again. Thing is, we started it without the air filter in it, because we wanted it to dry before putting it back in. So the air filter is out, start the bike up, then let the air filter dry for a day. Thing is, we can't figure out how to put the air filter back in. Some other stupid thing came out, bendy bit of metal, which supposedly keeps the air filter in place when riding, but we have no idea how it clips on now. Please, if anyone can decipher what I've written, help me.

Ok, we got it back in. Don't know if it's right, but it's secure enough. Now it's feeling a little sluggish, like, heavy. The gearing is all wrong. Third only goes up to 50km/h now instead of 60. Second and first is all normal, but 3rd and above is wrong. Haven't gotten it to fifth yet, so I don't know if fourth is normal. Only a minor difference, but a difference nonetheless.

I had 1 of these bikes was going to make a road/trail bike with full rego.Like you I could not get the air filter back on so left it off. When I bought the bike the seller started it using a charger so I knew it would go otherwise I would not buy it for $400.After months of trying to start it at home and buying a new battery, ignition switch and fuses it refused to go.Even tried clutch starting still no good.So I sold it at a loss on Gumtree and was disappointed to say the least.

Yeah Arthur, eventually we just put it in with the filter, which has kept it in place haha. Feeling smooth and everything now.... Only one problem. A funny noise down near my left foot when coming to the end of a gear. Loud and not supposed to be there haha. I think it might be the auto clutch, but I'm not sure.

18".
I think the manual suggests using a 100/100-18, but I use Dunlop D606 120/90-18.
120 comes kinda close to rubbing the exhaust when bottomed out.

I have a CTX200 Bushlander and the problem is its started smoking, and have a shaking like vibrating sound, kindly advise what the problem is as some local mechanics are sugesting that it maybe conrod or rings

Smoke is a good indicator for rings as it is burning oil as it bypasses the rings. Couldn't tell you about the noise though.
