Dealerships Selling Jazz's With Known Major Defects
If you live in an area where there is moderate to heavy rainfall do not buy a Honda Jazz/ Fit!
Water leaking into the Jazz/Fit is a common defect discussed across many international forums. Our local Honda dealership informed us they were systematically bringing an entire fleet of Jazz's in (from a local company) to repair the exact same water leak defect as in our Jazz, so it's clearly a widespread known fault by Honda. Honda Australia is refusing to acknowledge this is a major defect and safety issue (electrical). Honda sold us the Jazz kno...Read more
wing the Jazz has a defect with the plastic membrane in the doors, whereby the adhesive perishes over time, causing water to leak through the door into the interior foot wells and the electricals. Our vehicles carpet has been replaced 3 times in just four months, all doors are leaking water, smells like mould, electrical issues including warning lights, battery draining now we rarely get to drive our Jazz anymore...in fact we don't have the Jazz now...it's in the dealership again and has been for 8 days now. Honda Australia is advising us to return to the dealer and get them to patch up the defect again, however, the dealer is telling us to report our concerns to Honda Australia and of course as car manufacturers often do with major faults around in circles we go. Given the Honda Dealership has not been able to fix the defect on three occasions we have no confidence in Honda at all. We requested a refund from Honda Australia and they refused, citing the solution as to keep taking the Jazz to the dealership to be repaired. How many times do we have to keep doing this Honda and why should we when your organisation knew the door issue was a major fault before selling the Jazz to us.. According to international forums the door water leaking defect has been an issue since 2008 for Jazz's and Fit's. Honda dealerships should not be selling vehicles with major known defects to unsuspecting customers, it is a breach of Australian consumer law. Dealerships you are on notice that Honda Australia knows this is a major defect for many of the current model Jazz's. This car is now dangerous to us and other people. Honda Australia you are engaged in deceptive and misleading conduct!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Misleading Sale Tactic!
I was looking for a deal on a Honda Civic 2018 “Hail Damaged” VTI-S and made an offer $19,000 “yes i know how much this this are going for” and Alro Honda BLACKTOWN had it for $24,990 i know my offer was low and i have even pushed it to go to $19,500 because I know its there last clearance day sale on Sunday 18/03/2019 . First i had a call from a [name removed] and said for $20000 come in and see what he can do but i said if you cant reach it i don't want to waste my time coming in. When i tried to get back to him I had a lady name [name remove...Read more
d] answer the phone and I told my final price was $19,500 and i also said i don't want to waste my time but both told me to come in. The thing what upset me most is I came all the way from the city while raining hard with my family and my 4 year old daughter hoping and anticipating that the offer will be honored! And i did mention I'm ready to sign and don't want to waste my time coming back for nothing twice. As soon as i got in [name removed] spoke to me and said $20000 and I said il have a think to show my dad and Brother the car. but when i was ready to negotiate another person came in the picture and said they cant do $20000!!! so whats up with that Alto Honda!!! if you couldn't meet my offered price why waste my time and the last guys approach me said i wasted there time for offering that price! When they could have told me NO in the first place. Now tell me Alto Honda should i have reason not to be upset about this!!! Thanks for wasting my time and a very bad weather!!! and after misleading me that i can get a better deal!!!! and looks like they also have change from hail damage to brand new!!! such a nice job done here from the sales team

Darwin Honda NT Fantastic
I bought an older Honda CRV in Kununurra WA.
I live in a remote community 4 hours south of Kununurra & while driving home I heard a light rubbing noise. I suspected a wheel bearing had gone.
I put my car in a local repair place & they said my wheel bearings were fine.
I decided to drive 13 hours to get the car completely checked out by my nearest Honda dealer in Darwin NT.
The service was fantastic & they confirmed it was my wheel bearing which because of the age of my car they didn’t have in stock but it will be sorted soon.
They were able to work in with my travel times to get my car in for care & out by end of day.
NT Darwin Honda offer a great service thankyou

disappointing and poor after care
My husband and I went to the Honda dealership in Ferntree Gully, Melbourne on the 22nd December 2018 and decide to buy Honda HRV. As they promised that the car will be ready for us before new year but unfortunately it took longer and more complex processing than we could anticipated. Finally we received a text says the car is ready after new year. So we picked up the car on the 3rd January with joys and looking forward to a nice ride with a new car. However on the 13th January, only 9 days after we picked up the new car, the center control syst...Read more
em (whole radio, sat nav, reverse camera and speakers) went down during driving. So I called on Monday morning and after speaking to three people I finally reached the service department and the only time they can fit us in was 3 days later (Thursday 17th January morning). Then on Thursday morning after waiting for a whole hour they told me the car was still not fixed and we have to wait for a new part to arrive from oversea, and they could not tell me what was wrong with our brand new car, as quote from the staff 'apparently sometimes it just happens with new cars and new parts not working'. During this time I have to drive the car with no radio, no sat nav, no reverse camera, no speakers, no hands free set which I desperately needed for work. The worst nightmare is driving a car with kids in and feeling totally unsafe with this new car not knowing what will happen next, could anything else goes wrong at any time? Honda has not been delivery a good services to us on this occasion. We feel completely unsatisfied with the way we been treated, there was no apology to us, no understanding of customers life, as customer do not have time to frequently just bring the NEW car in for fixing. I would really appreciate if Honda could look into the issue and value their customers as much after purchase as they do when they trying to get our money during sales.Similar opinion? Honda Homebush
We purchased our new Honda Civic RS from here and it's no wonder they are No1 Dealership in Australia. Faultless, and faultless service. We looked around at other brands and had a few terrifying standover types harassing us., and some couldn't even be bothered talking to us, they were so lazy. We finished up at Honda, the car is so well made we can't believe it.

Get your car serviced elsewhere...
I had my car recently serviced at Austral Honda, and they called during the day to advise that I needed new brake pads. The total to replace these was going to bump my service from $390 to $1600 as apparently the rotors also needed to be replaced. The opinion of two other mechanics has advised that my rotors actually don't need replacing as of yet and that the total to replace the brake pads was under $350.
I used to think that I got a better service by taking my car back to Honda to get it serviced, but after this visit, there is no chance of me taking it back there to get serviced or to consider purchasing another car through this dealer.

Rip off and unprofessional
I ordered a new tyre from Northside Honda on 21/11/18 for $295. I went in to pick it up today and was given the ‘rubber’ tyre only.
I don’t know much about cars but I was expecting, either the new tyre comes with rims or that Honda will fit the tyre onto my rims.
None of the above happen. The staff just put the rubber into my car and was happy for me to drive off. I was then told there might be additional charges to put the rubber onto my rims.
After speaking with other staff members, it was confirmed that the cost of $295 includes ...Read more
the rubber tyre and fitting, but this can’t be done today so I have to go back next week. I am dissatisfied that I wasted an hour driving to Northside Honda just to be given a piece of rubber for $295, and later told that there might be additional charges for the fitting.Similar opinion? Rip off merchants
Purchased a used vehicle of these shonky dealers in May. It was due a timing belt at the time unbeknownst to me. They were happy to sell me the car without mention of the costly repair ($1400-$2000). When I contacted them regarding this matter they more or less said bad luck, there’s nothing you can do. Beware of this car yard. Totally unscrupulous dealers. Rip off merchants.

Rare—- excellent car dealer Scott’s Honda. Artarmon
After years dealing with Toyota dealers, we decided to try Honda, went to Scotts Honda at Artarmon. No pressure sales and we bought a Civic. Service is excellent, service staff very obliging. They do serviced while you wait. Never a problem with the service provider would have to be one of the best and most genuine car dealers we have had contact with. We had a small issue with the interior roof lining and they replaced it with no question under Warranty.

Appauling service and the staff have no interest in helping customers
Dropped off my used car to have a few issues looked at after buying it only 3 weeks earlier. They have had the car for 10 days. I have not heard a word from them since. Won't pick up my calls. Won't return my voicemail messages. Won't reply to my emails. They were rude and unhelpful when I tried to book the car in. It took a week before I finally managed to actually speak to someone. The guy I finally spoke to was so disinterested in arranging the appointment and I had to make 3 call to him as well just to get a confirmation on the booking. No ...Read more

Can't Fault these guys! Excellent Quality and Service once again
After looking around at alternative vehicles and having a purchase fall through on another vehicle because the dealer couldn't deliver the vehicle when I had bank cheque in hand (that's for another review) I went to Austral Honda as my previous vehicle was a Honda and the quality and service and customer relationships have been excellent.
I'm a cash buyer and know what I want/need, have price point in mind and certain features that are a must and others that are a bonus. The GM Mark is a seasoned pro and was very good at coming back with som...Read more
e out of the box ideas which got me the car I was after and at a level where the deal was acceptable to the dealership. The Salesman Sam who finalised the paperwork and got the ball rolling was also very professional personable and very upfront and easy to deal with. Not sure why I even bothered looking at the other brand. Quality and reliability with professionalism, doesn't get much better than that for feedback if you're the dealer principal of a car dealership. Well done lads, I'll be yelling your praises from the rooftops and be passing on many recommendations.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Highly recommend Sean and Sianne of Honda Wangara
After a fraudulent and hideous customer service experience with Audi Centre Perth, I hesitantly engaged Honda Wangara to view a used vehicle that was advertised through carsales.com.au in their yard, thinking that I was going to receive similar service. All I can say is that they have restored my trust in the car industry. They were open, honest and extremely professional to deal with and took care to ensure everything was checked and as it should be. Sean went above and beyond and his personable, open nature was a refreshing shift from what...Read more
I had experienced at Audi. Sianne in finance insured all t's were crossed and i's were dotted to ensure I fully understood in layman terms the ins and outs of the deal. They are a credit to the Honda brand and I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a car. Now when I look at my car I remember the excellent experience from Sean and Sianne.... not the fraudulent and arrogant experience at Audi Centre Perth.Similar opinion? John Blair Honda
If the Honda service centre in Prahran gets hold of your car they will be sure to suggest many expensive repairs and when you say you can't afford them they will pull the old scare tactic of roadworthiness. They wanted $500 to replace a rubber that insulates the engine vibration from the car body. When I asked to be shown the problem they said they couldn't, it was actually just a prediction of what might happen as the car gets older. How can what might happen later make the car unroadworthy now and since when is vibration grounds for unroadwor...Read more
thiness? The same thing happened with the shock absorbers. For $700 I could have more rubber replaced to prevent them rattling. Then they wanted to replace the platinum-tipped spark plugs for $95 each and for $85 they would also like to replace the wiper blades. I asked if they too were platinum-tipped. They didn't get my sarcasm and just frowned like I was crazy. I said NO to everything and now am looking around for an alternative place to maintain my car and any REAL issues it presents. My next service is the 200,000 Km @ $1,200. When I mentioned this price seemed high I was told it was my fault for keeping the car so long. I've spent $16,000 on servicing my Honda Jazz every 6 months or 5,000 km since buying it new in 2003. I asked if it was poor engineering that required such frequent servicing. My friend owns a Toyota and spends $152 every 12 months for a service. When I mentioned this to Honda they explained that Toyota Australia subsidized services to keep them so low. I remarked that Toyota was starting to look good in that case. They just stood there staring at me speechless. Oh, what a feeling!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Ferntree Gully Honda
We went there a few weeks back to check out new Honda vehicles. We were served by William and he was extremely knowledgeable on every model on display. He was patient and listened to our needs. He did not rush us into making decision, but rather explained to us why the car he recommended suits our budget and needs. We negotiated the price and was happy about the final price given. Let alone the extras threw in to seal the deal. We were then assisted by Brogan, the finance specialist. Brogan spent time with us and sorted out our complex financial situation. Overall, it was a great experience. I'd recommend anyone to visit this dealership. Great thanks to William and Brogan!
