Great for when we go to our retreat where there's no power we use it 2 or 3 times per day
Great machine just purrrs along. never misses a beat and I don't always keep to the service schedule but it seems fine. We use it at our weekender which doesn't have power. WE don't use it for a lot but toasties, kettle and some lighting in the evening for a couple of hours. Great machine.
Power to spare
After using an Eu20i for years I upgraded to an Eu30i handy as the 20i, though an excellent generator, struggled with my caravan setup (I have air-conditioning, microwave, on-board battery charger etc.etc.) and had to turn most other things off when running the aircon. I have only had the Eu30i for a few weeks and trust that its durability is as good as all other Hondas in the range. I can only comment about it's output which is great. I can run everything in my van simultaneously and the Eu30i doesn't even kick, as it doesn't have to work as h...
ard it is a lot quieter than my 20i, it will happily run a 2.5hp air compressor, I tried, the Eu30i didn't hesitate (not even starting it, which is the hardest part for a generator) Lots of power, very quiet, still easy to lift Like all Hondas, it's horribly expensive, But if you want the best you have to pay for it
