Works as advertised
They guarantee will not burst and they are correct. I have had Hoselink connections on my hoses for over 12 months and still holding strong. The water pressure in my area is extremely strong and all other hose connection would burst off the hose. Thanks Hoselink for supplying great products.

Good company, quality product, BUT.....
I purchased some basic fittings to convert a single hand held hose over to the Hoselink fittings to try them before considering upgrading the other taps around the house and yard..
The plastic they are made from appears to be of a very strong rigid plastic and when following the instructions to fit them to the hose I had none of the problems I have experienced with other hose fittings. astic so when you crank down on the nut to seal the fitting you hear a click and that is the collar snapping through the thin area. No such problem with the Hoselink product. Additionally they do what they say they will, they stay together without leaks. There are two negatives. The first is that they are bulky, cumbersome and add a fair amount of weight and reduce the flexibility of the hose. The second is the most important to me and the reason I will not be buying more is that you are locked into the Hoselink system and to allow the use of other standard fitting you need additional fittings. I have long spay handles for hanging pots and pinned in place sprinkler systems. The fittings are often not the screw in type but are built in, so I now need the hose link adaptor. The person who washes my dog also uses standard fittings and to allow them to go direct to the tap I can not put the screw on Hoselink fitting directly onto the tap but require a standard fitting on the tap and then to use another Hoselink adaptor at that end also. I am now on the look out for a standard fittings that addresses and fixes the deficiencies that standard fittings have. Fix what needs fixing, don't reinvent the wheel, which is what I believe Hoselink is trying to do.

e are aiming for! Sorry to hear you are struggling to sort your old style connections to enable you to use these with our fittings. Obviously the best option for you would be to remove the click on connection from your accessories and screw our fittings in, this gives you the best connection and you avoid the click on fittings altogether. However as you have stated you can't remove these then yes you will need the adapter, this will allow you to use both your click on fittings and the Hoselink system, therefore will give you exactly what you need. This is the perfect solution for you as it allows you to keep all your old accessories and still keep the Hoselink system which overall you are happy with.Similar opinion? Didn't know that you do not need to turn off your hose tap!
For the past 10 years, I have been turning off my hose tap because of:
1) constant minor leaks and
2) fear of burst hose when I'm not at home
This is the first hose kit that I left my tap on without any fear! Excellent product! Will buy more!

Fantastic - no leaks
I have been using the hoselink system for well over 5 years. It is fantastic. I have never had a leak in the tap connection or the spray connection. I mean zero leaking, even under high water pressure with the spray nozzle closed. This product beats anything else on the market. The spray nozzle is similar to other cheap products on the market and does not appear to be of the same quality as the other components, however, it has worked well for me for 5 years without replacement. I would not use any other hose connections. I haven't used hoses, reels etc, just connectors and spray nozzles. The turbo nozzle is also very good.

The fittings have a 3 year warranty so if there is a defective part we will be happy to replace it. Kind Regards The Hoselink Team.It appears to be the jerking of the float valve as the water comes in and shuts off on the water trough. It works loose and then I lose the black washer in the long grass.

The Hose and Connection Fittings - Great. The Spray Nozzle - cheap poor quality design.
I used to be one of the profoundly stupid people whop had the belief that if a hose set cost $15, why pay $90 for more or less the same thing.
And after years of hoses blowing off the fittings, springing leaks, going crackly in the UV's, bursting when hot, and the insanely irritating "kinking".... Well after the 2011 floods, and while hosing the house out - I had had enough of my idiot cheap skate mentality.
So into the Hose Link hoses.....
And the Outback Starter Kit.
The hose connectors etc., are good; as is the hoses.

Both joints are leaking badly. I am not sure why. I purchased the product about two years ago. I am not sure if it is a bubber seal problem or what. I would like to order another one but I can not figure out how to place an order on line.

Hi Trish, thank you for your question. We don't call them burst free fittings for nothing however the secret is to use hot water, this will expand and soften the hose which then makes it easy to pull the hose away from the fitting. I split the hose to remove it once, next time I will try to use hot water.
