Not Happy Humm
So I have made 2 purchases with Humm. Have had 2 payments to make and the day they were supposed to come out of my account, it never. I have been charged late fees of $6 each time.
Looked at my bank statement and there was no payment taken from my account. Both times there was money in my account.
I was not sure if I was supposed to pay manually or not. I called them and asked how are payments made, the lady told me since I was in arrears she could not discuss that with me, and I had to contact the collections team.

EDIT: Humm request you email them but again any and all attempts of contact are ignored. Bypassing the ombudsman and going straight to a lawyer.
Well! It all started when I contacted Humm about having my bank card stolen and being unable to pay an upcoming payments. I received an email from N in the collections department demanding to know when I would have a new card to pay off the outstanding amount, which I honestly didn’t know when, and that’s when the snarky and nasty attitude came out.
I requested N to refer it to a third party debt col...lector as they are more understanding and willing to work out a payment plan, told no. I received some condescending and snarky response which I was absolutely disgusted with to the point where I asked for N to pass it along to someone else. It’s been over a week now and I’ve had no response at all.. even to follow up emails through the Humm website. Today I tried to login to my account so I could start paying my account but it’s been locked. I jump on live chat and speak to someone named S who told me they couldn’t do anything and to call the collections department. I told S I have been awaiting contact for over a week and did I get a response to this? No! I’ve now referred the case to the financial ombudsman as I keep receiving letters in the mail about how they are adding $30 collection fees to the total amount. If someone’s experiencing hardship etc why would you add more fees? Absolutely ridiculous. At least with afterpay, zippay, openpay etc you have more store selection with easier repayment options. You’re not slugged $6 per late fee and $30 collection fee for each outstanding order.
They need a long hard look at all staff and training methods. This place is beyond a joke
Worst service ever, don't ever use big things because if the mark you as a risk they will hold your $300+ for atleast a week we'll that's how long they have kept my funds have no idea why they can't just refund it. Not just let it sit there. Trash service and team management.
Poor Customer Service
If I can only give zero star to Humm, I will. I've been with Certegy for the past years but they changed to Humm who has the worst customer service ever. Everytime you ring them to make a query they are unable to help you plus the way they talk to customers are disappointing. From customer service to Collections Team, they are arrogant and sarcastic. All staff needs customer service training I swear.

I just spoke to Kit - team leader apparently he had no boss for me to email my concerns too, the lady before him didn’t get her name was extremely rude and so not helpful, I actually just wanted to pay my account off EARLY! These people definitely need customer service training because they have none, poor is an understatement

Ok, yes it was so easy to apply and make payment using it, but unfortunately the customer service is horrible. And believe me, I NEVER rate anything this low, even if they sucks very badly. But this is outrageous.
I applied using my name and credit card details but had to use my husband's cc to make the first payment. 2 weeks after that I tried to login and change it back to my payment details but they blocked my account without any explanation or whatsoever. I emailed them to see what was wrong with my account, and A WEEK later I got a rep...ly back saying it was 'FLAGGED' as fraud. I emailed them straight away explained that it was my husband's and I just want to change it back to my credit card details, and (again, very late reply) few days after they just 'suggest' me to change my payment details back to mine - WHICH what i have been trying to do before they blocked my account. One thing annoy people the most is when they have to keep explaining the situation over and over again to different customer service even though they already have a clear record of email correspondence since the beginning in their system. And SLOW response, oh lord, that just it, the cherry on top. They have not yet successfully solve the situation until now and honestly, bad support/customer service really damage the company's reputation. ZERO star from me.

Humm a good company, everyone complains that have defaulted
I have been using humm for about 8 months and have had no issues at all, great service and have had no issues with customer service, good retailers also, everyone on here with bad review always complains and 9 out of ten is people that have defaulted on payments, afterpay is exactly the same, it's called responsible lending, can't wait for there new service Bundll to launch great work humm absolutely loving it :-)
Shocking & Atrocious Customer Service
I purchased an item for $998.00 and believed i would be paying $200.00 a mth. No. It was $200 per fortnight! I queried the contract with Humm & was dealt with very rudely by the CSR, who insisted that the Sales Person would have advised me of the payment amt & schedule at the time of signing the contract. The CSR also insisted that i would have received a text to that effect. I did not get either! What i got was a text advising me when my first payment was due. I spoke with the CSR's T/L, who maintained the same argument & was equally as a...rrogant. I emphatically denied this and cautioned them against telling me what had happened in the store when they weren't even present during the transaction. I terminated the call, quite angry at the treatment i had received. I am appalled that Humm's calls are not recorded! I went back to the store & requested the contract be cancelled. Fortunately the Sales Person that signed me up was there and she was very helpful. Contract cancelled & new one set up at $26.16 per fortnight. Was advised that i would be reimbursed $600 for payments made however i'm still chasing the money & being given the run around by Humm. The matter now sits with the AFAC.
Easy approval thru the app
Approved for little and big purchases however used 2000 of 4000 big things limit and lost the remainder balance as it is a one time purchase amount which I didn't know about.
Little things bit unclear about deposit information.. Used big things no deposit so assumed the little was the same.. Wrong! And much embarrassed at store.
Absolutely shocking no help at all
I only gave you guys 1 star cause I had to make a review really you guys should be getting none you are the worst customer service ever you can’t even help out your old existing customers you guys are pathetic hope you go out of business then when I go ask why I got knocked back all you guys said did not meet the criteria wth I was a customer before why not now after pay all the way you guys suck
Ripped Off - No Support from Humm
Absolutely shocking service from this third rate organisation. I have yet to receive my item from the merchant. Humm customer service provides no support whatsoever, they tend to side with the merchant and do not look out for the interests of the consumer. I have yet to receive my item from the merchant as they have utilized Sendle. I have contacted Humm and they tell me I need to go back to the merchant which contradicts their initial advice. Humm are totally useless. I will no longer be utilising their service once my transactions are finalised.
Increased fees without informing
After six months fees went up from $3.50 to $8 per month and we weren’t told.
I think there are way better options out there.

Humm is great only people complaining are those who didn’t make repayments on time.. and clearly didn’t bother to contact Humm to fix it before it defaulted .. take responsibility people!! Humm is perfect for those with the sense to use it right!
So i was always loyal paying my account until i lost my bank card and had to cancel the card to prevent anything being stolen from my account by anyone who finds it. Its easy to forget which creditors u have going through a card!
Anyway. I missed 2 payments. I found an email just before saying debt collectors will be coming for me lol...
I actually have been trying to update my card details on the app but wouldn't let me and i ordered a new card . Found it was a card fault and the new card has been accepted. But there is NO option to pay the arrears. Everything is barred wont even let me pay a single cent. How ridiculous is that.
Terrible terrible terrible
I ended up defaulting and it go transferred to a collection agency. I am responsible for that. I paid that back theough the collection agency and finished about 6 months ago. Signed up to humm yesterday and didn't realise it was certegy. My debt was still sitting there. I was like what!!! Called them up and spoke to collections who were very very rude and told me that it will always be there and I will never be able to use their service again. That is NOT right. I paid it all back in full so it should say 0 owing. Where does it state that if you have an account that goes to a collection agency you can never use them again??

Wish I could give 0 star for this service. I have home loans and investment loans approved by banks. I apply for an amount under 6000, as the store sugested to go through them. However I got declined. Gave more evidences and still declined and no reasons given. My advice is not even try to apply as this may reflect on your credit rating, Looks like it is been run by a group of amateures and they have no idea what they are doing. Im now worried about the security of my personal details i have forwarded to them. Wonder how these busineses get approved by ASIC?
Retailer ripped me off, HUMM NOT HELPING
Purchased from an online retailer over a month ago with humm. Not only have I not received my purchase, HUMM are not willing to refund me. I have reported both Businesses to the Department of fair trading and the ACCC.
Not happy at all.
Annoying and the worst customer service
So, first things first. A payment was missed and i accept full responsability for this! Happily paid the fee and asked for my acct to be unlocked.
Said it would take 2 days. 8 days later, many calls and still not unlocked! And its now
Xmas eve and too late. Will pay my $47 balance and close acct. dont use! Ever

Can a pensioner with an excellent credit rating report possibly qualify for a Humm account to buy little things, not the big things? I know I have excellent credit rating, submitted a bank statement, my name, phone number. I wasn't even asked for ID nor date of birth etc because? I was rejected out of hand. I have qualified and paid off many Afterpay purchases, even Zip pay approved and had a $1500 Mastercard approved and paying all of exceptionally well but not good enough for you.

I tryed add my card to an account and say this card canot be added as i created a new account. But had an old account on an old card and try to put my new card on my old accont and it wont let me even after a terminated my new acount???
