Hunter ceiling fan - terrible performance
The Hunter ceiling fan was expensive and supposed to be a quality product. Our experience with Hunter fans since installing these fans in a new renovation in 2015 has not been at all good. Firstly, both fans made a rattling noise when switch on and continued with a low grade vibration. It was a long and protracted process in trying to have a Hunter representative come site to address the noise and lack of airflow issues for both fans. r in one of the fans needed replacement and the other fan also needed some "adjustment". This was done. A few months later, we had issues again to be told that both capacitors needed replacing. Apparently, this has been a common problem with these fans. Again, some months later a rattle has appeared with both fans. The output with the fans has never been good. After speaking with a colleague who had installed 6 Hunter fans thinking that the quality would be commensurate with their pricing, he has confirmed that he too had to replace capacitors on several of his fans and he is also far from happy on their output performance. We are now at the point where we are looking at replacing both Hunter fans with another brand - far less expensive but with far enhanced output capacity. Very dissatisfied with a. Great Looking, Quiet, No Wobble and Reliable
I fitted these fans in the house as replacement for older style fans. These look great and can be fitted flush, on an angle or with the supplied extension pole. They were easy to fit and have all the necessary bits and pieces to do so. They run without wobble and are silent in operation. They have three speeds.
The blades have one coloured side and the other side is a wood look. The blades are timber. In order to coordinate with the decorating in one of the bedrooms I painted the blades a different colour and it came off great.
Highly recommended. Everyone comments on how nice they look.
