This car is super easy to drive, park it in any tight carpark or small space
-its not super wide so doesnt take up heaps of the road when passing on narrow winding roads.
-super super fuel efficient
-fold the seats down in the back and i can fit my large road bike with the wheel off, or my folding bike and heaps of travel gear.
-have traveled basically right around australia in my 2016 accent, and have just bought the new 2022 model
-lots of space in the front seats (im 6f and heaps of room to stretch my legs).
-i wouldnt buy any other brand of car since owning a hyundai.

I have had my Hyundai for 2 years now and I bought it new. It is a great little car to drive and I find it very economical on fuel. Handling is good and is very comfortable. I wish there was more little storage areas inside the car as it is difficult to find anywhere to put documents or anything you need to access quickly - I had a Toyota Yaris and there was little areas all over the place so I miss that.
The only real criticism I have of the Accent is the poor turning circle. It is almost impossible to do a U-turn so it turns into a 3 point reverse/turn and I would recommend not trying to do a U-turn at traffic lights or you will be in trouble and have to back up to complete it. Otherwise though this little hatch is good value for money.

I love this new Accent Sport. 1.6 lt engine means it's more powerful than my previous Yaris. Everything is perfect on it. Brakes take a few weeks to run in, I've done 1100 km in a month, and I get a complimentary service at 1500km, will book that soon. Great little car.

We bought a my19 accent new in march this year as a cheap run around, the car car itself is not to bad considering what u pay for it good features for price range. But car has had a couple of issues since new heavy on fuel cruise control faut and now a major gearbox/clutch faliure, with only 9k on clock.saying that i cant complain about Hyundai service dept at the moment as have been accommodating in issues so we will see how we go with this major falure. This was our first Hyundai i dont think we will be buying another unfortunately

I drive it! Transporting all number of goodies from wide screen TVs to tables and chairs, antiques that are rare and all sorts of fare.
Five days could go by until I use my Hyundai.
Fixed five yearly Services with not a mention of a mechanical issue.

My 2018 Hyundai Accent is very heavy to drive up hills if the air-con is working. I am unsure about taking it for a drive up a mountain in summer. I have asked for info from the service centre but they have not yet called back. It also seems to use a lot of fuel.

Love my new Hyundai Accent. I use it for work 3 days a week & find myself taking small adventures to little cafes & shop that are out of the way on my days off just to drive my car. It looks great, drives extremely well, is comfortable & very economic. Got it for a great price! Up for the 1st service but they're all capped. The Hyundai team were great & made a huge fuss for presentation/pick up. My 1st drive, like every one, is a dream come true!!

Great performance, has some get up and go. Previously had the Veloster. This is the same vehicle with a the same motor but a different body.
Very happy, use about $30 a week in petrol. Never missed a beat, comfortable, easy to drive. Only thing I am missing is a reversing camera, otherwise has all the bells and whistles. Great value for money.

Whilst stopped at the lights, the driver of a minibus (reading a text message) ran into the rear of my vehicle at full speed and pushed it forward into another stationary car. The airbags did not activate which resulted in the two occupants being hurt. If passengers had been in the back seat, they would have been seriously injured from the impact which wrote ff my car. Buyer beware!

I have bought this little bumble bee in John hughes in 2015 during the end of financial year sales. The manager has offer me this model with under 20 k aud which is very affordable for me and my wife. The color of the car is yellow and we no need to pay extra for the color. I have been driving it for 3 years and still no problem is found. very satisfied with it

I have an Accent SR auto which I bought new nearly 12 months ago. The SR was in run out and it had a few extra features over the Sports model like a front centre armrest.
It is quiet, roomy and solid. It is fun through the corners with direct steering, good breaks and a comfy ride.
The 1.6 has more than enough go and I'm averaging 8.4L/100km around town.
On the downside the auto is geared for economy and it feels lethargic going up hills. The cruise control can't hold it's speed going up or down hills either.
The rear visibility isn't great but I had rear parking sensors fitted for an expensive $500, but they do help making reverse parking a lot easier.
Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending this car.

Great small car. Love that it has 4 doors yet is so compact. Very spacious too considering its size.Very generous boot. I got the manual and it drives beautifully. Super quiet, sometimes i have to wind down my window to see if I have already turned it on. (haha) It doesn't have any vibration when you are pulled over it is just beautiful. Its very economic. For the price of the car you cannot go wrong. Touch screen, cruise control, amazing stock speakers and super comfy for everyone. I would recommend the accent to anyone. whether its your first car, or you have small family or you are just after a car to putt around to take you to the shops you could not find a better car. I just bought this as my first new car ever and this was after a lot of research. The features on offer for the price couldn't be matched in the market. 6-speed auto (not CVT!), cruise control, electric everything and with a 5-year warranty for well under $16,000. Nothing could really compete, the closest being the Kia Rio which doesn't have cruise control as standard. I picked up the new Sport model, which is equivalent to the older Elite version, so it has everything. Even Apple CarPlay has been added. It looks great and goes well. Fuel consumption around town is a little higher than I expected, but that's because I do almost no freeway driving.

This car, for the minimal price, absolutely amazing! Small, efficient, aesthetically pleasing, a gem to drive!

I bought the automatic version new 3.5 years ago for $17k drive away. The car is fun to drive and huge inside considering its in the small car class. I loved it and miss it after I lost it in an accident with a SUV. Happy with the resale value. I had zero probs with it. The only prob the car had was discovered by the dealer at hand over and got fixed straight away.

Best value small car in Australia for me. I looked at many different models when considering my new purchase and the Hyundai wins for fuel efficiency and leg room (important for me at 6'3). The Apple CarPlay is very handy and easy to use with the only downside being no reverse camera or sensor included in any version.

One of the decent little car, base model, however little bummed to missed on the new model which comes with cruise control at the base model. Overall performance matches my need, good L/Km ratio, decent handling. I wish there would be more features. Made a dumb choice to get reverse sensors to be installed by hyundai, should go to any aftermarket place.

Bought it new when it was on promo. Very happy with the fuel consumption and also the offer and extended warranty from the dealer. The car itself is good enough for my work purpose. The technology and bluetooth features are excellent. The only problem that I found is the demister is not really working well during winter time as it took ages to clear up the fogs. Other than that, I am very satisfied with it.

A nimble and easy to drive car thay is perfect day to day car. After driving this car for a month i can appreciate what hyundai has done. Driving the car with in the triptronic gives the car extra power whwn i need it and the boot space is generous for the this size car. Im suprised it has a full size spare tyre and easy to use infomat system. Apple car play is a dream and wish i could have that on my other cars.
