Love this car
I have now had this car for over 2 years and my family and I love it. The fuel economy is reasonable and we average 7.8 litres for our regular driving. The power is more than adequate for what I do and it only ever feels sluggish on large hills. The comfort is amazing and our family of 4 do lots of long trips with it happily. It is smooth to drive and the camera makes reversing much easier. I would recommend this vehicle to any families up to 4 people.
Purchased in April 2021.

Best car I have owned!
My mechanic was the one that recommended a Hyundai Tucson. I did the research and looked at independent reviews. I went and test drove one and fell in love!
The value for money is fantastic and I have not had a single issue.
My mechanic also says that they are easy to service. I can't believe I didn't buy one sooner!
Purchased in October 2021 at Hyundai Dealers for $30.00.

My 3rd Hyundai SUV, but my first Turbo Diesel
My 2 previous SUV's have been Hyundai IX35's and I have been very happy with each of them.
However I decided to update and bought the 2017 Automatic Tucson Active Turbo Diesel AWD in Pure White.
I had a strict budget so I no longer have heated leather seats, leather steering wheel or a CD Player. I can manage without the leather upholstery and the fabric seats are very comfortable and not too hot when the car is parked in the sun. However I do miss the CD player!
I like the general look of the Tucson with a similarity in lines to the IX35...Read more
. The Tucson is a little larger than my IX35 but I have found adjusting to the size is no problem. It feels very stable on the road, very direct steering and has an excellent turning circle. Standard features I like are the reverse camera and audio sensors - so important these days in crowded shopping centre car parks with people and vehicles passing by. The Diesel takes a little getting used to but it performs very well & seems to be very economic on fuel - returning better economy than I ever achieved in the IX35. Many of the features I liked about the IX35 are also in the Tuscon. There are some improvements as well. To put down the back seats there is now a lever on the side of each seat which makes lowering them far easier than before and the tilt of the back seats is also adjustable. One of the aspects of this SUV that I appreciate and it was the same in the IX35 - is the elevated driving position. I am a woman driver and having a better view of traffic around me is a bonus. I would not consider smaller, lower set models like the Hyundai Kona because of this. I have had the windows tinted on the Tucson, and am now considering a CD player! I bought my 2017 model in January 2018 with a considerable saving on the change over cost and I'm hoping 3 or 4 years down the track this will not make a great deal of difference to the Tucson's value over time. I am aware that it is the lowest ranked Tucson Diesel Model and lacks some creature comforts however I only drive locally and providing it can give me reliable, trouble free motoring over the coming years I will be content.

Brilliant
Great car, excellent gear box and it has grunt. Love it. Interior on the Active Diesel id pretty damn good. The finish is really nice. Hyundai are the benchmark. Probe me wrong. I would have never bought one year ago but research and logical thinking wins. The engine is smooth, the suspension is perfect.

Great For The Price
I bought the Tucson Active 2017 Diesel for towing a small caravan.
Pros: It has a great looking design. It tows very well going up & down hills,
most of the time you could not feel the caravan. Its excellent of fuel. The inside
has a lot of leg room for passengers. I have no problem fitting 3 small kids and 2 adults
or 5 adults. The reversing camera and sensors are fantastic to have and work well.
Cons: Some of the plastic in the inside are very brittle and cheap quality, due to the
shape of the front passenger seat as you get in it f...Read more
