No update to this app since I purchased 3 years back

published

A joke that you can spend time and money investing in a health product and not be able to update the app it runs on. Not good enough by any corporate or professional standard.

Good basic monitor (when it works)

published

I've been using the iBGstar for 2.5 years, tiny size and quick monitoring is great however it often brings up error messages and can't cope in temperatures sub 10* Celsius. Pharmacies in brisbane often are out of stock of the strips - As a result I ended up buying another monitor as a back up. Great idea, just not quite robust enough to rely upon fully - which you kind of need........

Could be great but falls way short

published

I love the concept of IBGStar however it does fall short. It does not work well with iphone 5 despite company claims it only needs an Apple adapter. Works intermittently. I keep an Accu Chek monitor with me as well to double check my readings as they have been higher then usual with the IBGStar. Sales and service terrible. Over 1 month to reply to an email and calls not returned for 3-4 weeks. The promised $40 gift card never materialised either. I was eventually told it was "in the mail" but it never arrived. And was then advised they wouldn't "send" another. False advertising. At least the other gluco monitoring companies provide quality and reliable service and support.
