Warning this is a supplier only company - no responsibility taken
Our ducted system is underspecified for our home, full of issues and the installer that was sent out by Icesolair has gone out of business. We have no insurance with QBCC even though this was a large and costly job involving ducting work and no recourse with this company and this is how they like it. Stay away from these supplier-only companies who pass the buck. And the system is not cheaper to run - their claims are garbage. We will have to turn around and upgrade to what the unit should have been in the first place, only three years on from the install. Absolute disgrace. Go to a reputable and licensed company and buy a name brand system.

BUYER BEWARE...choose an Aircon provider that is licensed with the QBCC
Our ducted system is leaking into the ceiling. Called Icesolair (these are the people who we contracted and have taken our payment) and they blamed us saying a blockage in the outside drain/outlet caused it. Now we have water flowing freely out of the drain/outlet but STILL a ceiling FULL OF WATER. Have called the QBCC (building watchdog) and these guys aren't known to them so they can't do a thing. Who knows what licenses they actually have but we have a ceiling fan shorting out due to the water leaking from the Fan Coil Unit. Bottom line is t...Read more
hey are sub-contracting out their install work to people as dodgy as they are and then passing the buck. Lesson learned = if you contract this sort of work to be done - in fact any work over $3,300 - we would recommend you have the contract registered and insured with the QBCC and with a QBCC-licensed aircon company, then you have some recourse instead of having to deal with nothing but irresponsible people who are quite happy to take your money but don't care.

Great job, thanks ICE Solair
I was referred to ICE Solair by a friend of mine who had a ducted system installed by them. I found the process to be really easy and ICE Solair were really informative and helpful.
I got a split system for my open plan lounge/kitchen area and one for my Master Bedroom. The systems were installed quickly and the installers were really polite and cleaned up after themselves. I was really impressed by the ICE Solair team from start to finish.

ICE Solair solar air conditioners
I installed 3 x ICE Solair solar split systems and have been really happy with them. I put one in the living room and 2 in bedrooms. They went in really fast and I was really impressed with the people back in the office and also the installation guys. The whole process was really easy.
Since the systems have been installed, I have used them a lot and have found them to be easy to use and energy efficient.
Highly recommend ICE Solair.

Really happy with my air conditioners
I invested in getting 2 rooms air conditioned ready for Winter. I am so glad that I did. I feel the cold and have a few health conditions so the cold really effects me. They say that this Winter is going to be quite cold.
Since installing the bedroom and living room split systems, I have had the pleasure of using the ICE Solair systems a few times already and I really like them. They are easy to use and really warm the place up fast.
I found everyone I spoke with at ICE Solair to be really helpful and knowledgeable. They were a real pleasure to work with and installers were in and out real fast.
Thank you ICE Solair

Waste of money, terrible customer service, no energy savings
Have over $14k worth of ducted aircon (14kW system) supplied and installed by these guys and we don't have (never have had) any cooling effect on a hot day (any day with a temp of 28 degrees or more) - our home and the zones in question soar in temp - up to 28 degrees while the ducted aircon they gave us goes flat chat, chewing away at the power supply, consuming around 3.6kW per hour (we have a smart meter). Bottom line is, they've installed the biggest unit they had at the time and it wasn't sufficient for the heat load, also some of the larg...Read more
er rooms have only one outlet. We have many reasons to believe they knew prior to taking our order (one being that they inspected the home prior to specifying and quoting the job) but are simply lacking in professionalism and integrity. The installer they used was ASI - these are the most combative and arrogant people we've ever encountered - their workmanship is woeful and their mode of operation is to blame others and deflect responsibility. Some of the workmanship was not only dodgy but down right dangerous - to name but one instance, after a "service call" we found exposed 240 volt connectors on the fan coil control box. There are many more issues, we have photos to evidence it all. We've contacted them on multiple occasions, they don't care and don't act other than to unleash their obnoxious and pretty useless installer - ASI. There are so many reputable air con companies and professional tradespeople out there, so do yourself a favour and go to one of them. Also read their other online reviews (wish these were around at the time we purchased), we saw comments there from other poor customers that were eerily similar to our findings. To sum it all up - there is no evidence here to substantiate the energy efficiency claims they made - in essence, all we've done here is caused ourselves angst and wasted money by engaging this company in the first place.Similar opinion? Solar ducted air conditioning awesome.
I installed a ducted ICE Solair solar air conditioner last week and I am really happy with it. The installers arrived on time and they didn't take long to put it all in. They started about 7 in the morning and were done by lunch time.
They even cleaned up after themselves!! I couldn't believe it. I didn't even had to ask!
Once it was all in, the installers walked me through how to use it and I got to enjoy my new solar air conditioning. It was so quite and worked so well. I have solar on my roof and have been watching the app for my ...Read more
Redback inverter for the solar system and it has been showing me the energy consumption. I can't believe how efficient it is. I have friends that have ducted and they always complain how much power they use but I have been really impressed with how efficient the ICE Solair ducted system is. The installers and the team at ICE Solair were so helpful and were really nice to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am so glad that I decided to get an ICE Solair system. Really happy with ICE Solair
I am really happy with my ICE Solair system. They were really professional and knew their stuff. I did a lot of research before I decided to get an ICE Solair system.
My lounge room system is quiet and works really well. With the cost of power these days I was really happy that I could get something that was so energy efficient and affordable to buy. They were really quick to help as well.
I highly recommend ICE Solair and have already referred a lot of my friends.

Ice solair, what rubbish
Installed ice solair in bedroom and lounge room. What a mistake, I have had nothing but trouble with them since. From water running down the wall in my bedroom to the hoses shattering into tiny pieces, and now it looks like someone has opened the the solar system and turned that tin foil panel into a mosaic. Buyer Beware.

Great service and energy efficient
I installed one of ICE Solair's solar air conditioning systems in my bedroom. The service I received was really good and I am very happy with how the system works and how quiet it is. I do shift work and I am a light sleeper so it was really important for me to have an air conditioning system that was quiet.
Doing shift work I need to use my air conditioner a lot so I can sleep ok. I have found the air conditioner doesn't use nearly as much power as I thought it would.
I would happily recommend ICE Solair and will be definitely getting one for my living room when I save the money up to get it.

Really happy with ICE Solair systems
I recently had 2 systems installed at my home. One was in my master bedroom and the other was a large one installed in my open plan living room.
I did a lot of research and finally decided to install ICE Solair systems. I am so glad that I did as the service was excellent and the systems are so quiet. I have been really happy with them and as it is now starting to get cold, they will be able to keep me nice and warm this Winter.
Thank you again ICE Solair, Julianne

Do not use Ice Solair. Products doNOT work.
I had 3 air conditioning units installed in my home. Only 2 of them worked. ( and those 2 I found to be noisy and too powerful on the fan output).
They were installed in February and the large one ( they stuffed me around a bit on installation and it was about 2 weeks later) in March.
The larger unit in the lounge works maybe 20% of the time. and then it closes down within an hour of operation. Most of the time the unit is dead and does not respond to the command of the remote control to start.
Jason has been out many times, with varying e...Read more

Total lies about the savings on power
Unfortunately installed Icesolair split aircon which showed Error 4 display from the day one. We have to restart the aircon 30 times. Before you buy any of Icesolair products PLEASE read reviews and consult with experts. If you still want Icesolair products better donate that money to those in need

Disgraceful after sale service
Unit constantly breaks down and the ice solair people refuse to make good on their warranty
Wasted 10k
We have had the unit repaired over 30 times in the past 18 mths at our own cost at it has recently rusted through the compressor connection due to poor quality parts and installation
Icesolair refuse to fix the unit and have offered to send someone around at a
$300 per hour fee
