Ikea can't refuse your cash, legally!
At the time I wasn't aware of this official statement from Australia Mint but had I knew it would've changed the outcome. I totally wasted my time, petrol and energy going there with my cash. Unfortunately you can't post anything on their facebook page or contact a person because everything is online, right! But here is the proof:

Good selection
Have to drive to there. The quality are mostly fine. I prefer easier assemble steps. Delivery fee is too high. I wish IKEA can have more real plant decoration collection

Ikea Brimmes Wardrobe
Very flexible and easy to install. Very easy to assemble with guide book provided to understand it better. Good value for money. Highly recommended and lots of variety are available in store or online to choose from.

Refusing to give me a replacement door - Kitchen
I feel so annoyed and frustrated this has been going on since October 2018. My corner cupboard got broken and I went in to replace it. I was told it was an older sized cupboard and they no longer make that size anymore. So they tried to help my sending me a cupboard that was the wrong size. This was my first and last time to visit IKEA. This is really not about the products sold in the store but the whole feeling of the atmosphere I have experienced. I ended up with frustration and a huge headache. The layout of the store is annoying for a starter. nless you use the place as a playground and forget about shopping. So... please don't take your children with you, it's better for you and much better for your kids to take them to an environment that does not make them hyperactive. Worst customer service / delivery service ever experienced
If you don't want to have a mental breakdown do not buy from IKEA... Worst service ever experienced... Deliveries do not turn up on the day stated more often than not... ring up to find out why... get nothing but put offs, get put on hold while something is looked into, if ask what is getting looked into dont expect an answer. Ask to speak to someone in charge, if lucky might get a Dept Supervisor who will also tell you he will check it out and get back to you... then doesnt.. when you ring back and speak to him he will pass the buck and say ...Read more
he asked someone else to get back to you and cant understand why they didn't... meanwhile still no delivery of the items you have paid good money for.. once again the merry go round will start up with a new delivery date that suits IKEA & the delivery company not you the paying customer, (Delivery fee was $89 + $20 wrapping fee for unpackaged item for delivery from Logan to Gold Coast an airtasker delivery would have been $50 )... Lesson learnt: do not buy from IKEA if you can't carry home as you will be waiting waiting waiting... I should have read these reviews before buying... Worst Delivery Service EVER
Over $10,000 worth of PAX & Komplement ordered from Logan store - that was the way part. Trying to get it delivered has been - to put it musky - a complete nightmare. “Customer Care” has blatantly lied to us about our delivery & it’s status! Having taken time off work to recieve the order we have now waited it home for two full days (no one calling us to tell us the order was in fact not being delivered as promised) we have now been told it’s going to be at least a couple more days before we can expect delivery (but no promises)!
Quick to take our money - Card factor zero since!
You should be ashamed to call it customer care!

Abysmal customer service and delivery procedure
Took an entire day off work as told explicitly in an email, on phone and texts that the parcels would arrive on a particular day between 8am-8pm. Delivery company did not show up. Tried calling customer service line 3 times (minimum 45 minutes wait each time before hanging up), got through after 1 hour on the 4th go. They had no idea where the parcel was and said maybe it would come in a few days time, perhaps if I could take another day off work as they cannot leave the parcels in a safe spot. Are you kidding me? No regard for the value of their customers' time or purchase.

Don't bother using the paid kitchen planning service
Paid for the in store kitchen consult at ikea Logan. Travelled 2 hours to the store and home again. We are upto the 3rd issue with the plan, once we have travelled the 4 hour round trip to fix their error and now our kitchen is in and done and we have another. The team member helping me at the moment blames us...we paid to have a 'kitchen specialist' do the planning so we would have NO issues. Don't waste your money on it.

IKEA - you suck!
I ordered online - a wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps and a doona. They advised that it would be delivered by 2 shipments, so I arranged for delivery on the same day. I took the day off work to receive the deliveries as one of the deliveries was between 8am-8pm and they wouldn't give me a shorter window of the delivery time!
At 7pm that night, both deliveries had not arrived. I called one of the delivery phone numbers and they told me that I had arranged one of the deliveries for the next day - not true! The other delivery arrived 20 mi...Read more

I questioned the driver as it looked like it was a box for the wardrobe and it was too short and small to have all the components for the wardrobe that I bought. The driver showed me he had only one box on his list for me. Because IKEA did not specify which items would be arriving in each delivery, I expected the rest of it to come in the next delivery. IKEA delivered the other items the next day (even though it was supposed to arrive the day before) and left it at the front door (without permission) as I was at work. The missing boxes for the wardrobe were not there. I called IKEA that evening and was on hold for 36 minutes, after which I hung up. I called again the next day and was on hold for 29 minutes before I hung up. I couldn't find any phone number to call on the paperwork (invoice/delivery receipt etc), so I was googling the phone number. I called the next day and was on hold for 12 minutes, I hung up. I did this for just over a week, calling every day and could not get through to customer service. Finally when I got through, the lady was rude and asked me why I accepted delivery of the one box for the wardrobe. I told her that IKEA had not advised me of how many boxes there would be and which items would be in each of the 2 deliveries. She then told me that I should have notified them within 7 days!!!! OMG - if they answered their phones, I would have. And if they provided contact details on their paperwork, that would have been helpful. So after having been on hold for several hours over about 10 days of calling them, the call cut out!!! And, the lady didn't call me back! Unbelievable. So I called again and got a different lady and she too was rude. I was on the phone for over an hour and she made out that I was trying to trick them and she thought I was changing my 'story' when really she wasn't listening to me. She acted as though they were doing me a favour by sending me the missing 2 boxes of the wardrobe!!!! I couldn't believe it! IKEA you really do suck.Similar opinion? products OK but service, website and kitchen planner hopeless
Ikea may be reasonably priced but there are other ways of paying for things esp the time you waste waiting for service, trying to plan a kitchen with their hopeless kitchen planner, waiting for the scant and begrudged help from the kitchen area as well as all the time trying to get in and out of the store in a timely manner. Website info incorrect and when you phone to advise them and ask for help of this the wait is so long you give up. I wonder if service is so poor worldwide or is it just another case of giving Aussies second rate service? Unlike others we have no trouble assembling items but if we had to pay for assembly I'm sure we could buy a better product already assembled.

Click and collect is a sham
Don't bother with the ikea click and collect service. It will not save you any time when you turn up and have to wait for the incompetent staff. You will pay $20 for the convenience of this so called service. When ordering online you are asked to select a timeframe and date from drop down menu however you will then still be harassed by ikea staff over the phone asking when your coming to collect your items. Technically, ikea don't have a phone on which you can call, wasted almost 2 hours and still couldn’t get through. Had ordered a bed for home delivery, but some nasty sofa covers came through instead, haven’t heard from Ikea since then

Disgusting Service IKEA! NEVER Again!!
Wow, I am appalled at the care factor IKEA has for it's online customers trying to track down their orders, you wait hours on the phone only to be told..... well nothing!....not interested in helping, totally rude. Then you have to deal with Toll delivery, they will send you an email asking if you would like them to leave your parcel at your door, yes thank you, but they don't, they leave a card, so then you follow up only to be told they don't take any notice of the email you sent them and they will redirect your parcel which will take another 3 days!! Don't do it people, spend your hard earned money somewhere else! :/

Cheating online promotion
Was a satisfied customer until yesterday. One sofa on my shopping list was on black Friday sales, while it's said only online price $99, in store would be $199, I added it to cart, accepted $20 pick up handling fee, than found there was no stock in Logan store, the only option was to add $69 for delivery. Ok accepted thinking I could still save $31 after all, not a perfect result but still could be happy ending if I didn't go to Logan myself yesterday, only 10hrs after the purchase and when the sale was still on. We have been to Ikea Logan 3 times over the past 5 weeks and on every occasion we found their bathrooms unclean (both the parents and adult bathrooms) also with no paper towels available. The overall impression was that bathrooms haven't seen a cleaner in a long time or the cleaner lacks attention to detail. One would expect it to be immaculate upon arriving just after opening hours. Comparing bathrooms from shopping centres, Ikea disappoints.
