Superb. Cooking is a joy again.
I just purchased my new Ilve 750SPYTCI from Appliances Online after lots of research on price, oven brands, features, reliabilty, country of origin etc. I had to choose a 75cm oven so market choices are limited. Appliances Online were so helpful and fast service. Price was $750 cheaper than anywhere. I found a local electrician to hard wire it in to an existing plug. of internal room and shelf adjustments. The telescopic shelf is only one shelf not all 4. Lots of cooking functions and the instructions are quite straightforward after some careful reading and playing with the settings. I did the initial heat for 90 minutes which did create fumes but subsided after 40 minutes. Do this with windows open! I cooked scones for a first recipe test, brilliant result. Then cooked a tricky beef wellington and roast veges for dinner. Perfection. So far can't fault this gorgeous oven so much better than my old Blanco.

Questions & Answers
Judy Roseasked
I have recently purchased this particular oven, and I have a few questions.
Is it normal for the oven temperature to always test lower than the applied setting ?
Is it normal for the oven cooking time to take at least 3 times longer than the recipe suggests?
Is it normal for absolutely nothing to brown ?
I have tried many of the settings to gauge what is the best, but nothing seems to work correctly.
It is extremely frustrating.
Could this be a fault with my particular oven ?
Many thanks for any advice available.
