I found this car seat is very easy to use and provide adequate security and restraint to my 2 years old granddaughter. It is a forward-facing child restraint and can be used with the in-built harness from approximately 6 months through to 4 years old. Once your child reaches the middle shoulder height marker, you can convert the Spectrum Quantum into a booster seat for use with a lap-sash seatbelt. This car seat features a high, blow moulded backrest with large side wings for enhanced side impact protection, and a recline position for your childs comfort. Featuring hard-wearing, cool and soft Active Fabric, High backrest, Large side wings and Recline position.

I'm not expect on baby seats given that my wife and I have the one son but from what we have looked at the Infasecure Spectrum Quantum gives that extra sense of comfort and safety for him.

Babyseats in general are not exactly cheap but when it comes to safety/peace of mind the Infasecure Spectrum Quantum babyseat is such a fantastic product.

We do switch the seat between both cars with no issues at all.

This seat is attractive as it covers the 0-8 age range but really is not that practical. A small child would get lost in the seat and a large child would not be comfortable for long periods of time. However it is attractive to not need to repurchase a seat once the child grows out of the 4 year old one, however it would be so dirty and lived in by then if it was used as a primary seat that you would need a new one anyway!
