Resolved the problem opened up rear cover and followed the wire from the pump up to the motherboard only to find the wire was not plugged in

I've had evap coolers in the past and they are not suitable in my eyes....

I have been using my Instachill 09EX-V2 for 2 years and all that I have to do
is fill it with 10 litres of cool tap water and then I top it up with 1 litre of icy cold
water from my fridge every few hours. But I dont understand that on your youtube
instruction videos you say to use 10 litres of icy cold water.But this is impossible
because my fridge can not produce 10 litres of icy cold water.So to compromise I
just add icy cold water every few hours. But thankyou for such a wonderful air cooler
and I just brought a second one for my bedroom.

If the water supply hose has been bent or squeezed in, please press the hose several times in different angles in the affected area to release air pressure and to put back the hose into its normal shape. 3. If hose is clogged, do clean and remove any obstructions. 5. Turn on Cool mode for a few minutes and then check the filters if they are getting wet. How to clean the filter
There is no filter. The cardboard blocks are called cell deck. They'll need to be replaced after two years or so

Read more 1. To open the unit, pull out the recess at the top of the back or rear panel. This is a friction fit panel and with a slight pull will come lose. 2. You can now slide the left and right sponges out towards you. 3. The back or rear cooling pad or filter is attached to the rear panel. Slightly flex the panel to release the filter from the retaining tabs. 4. Take the plastic holder off from the bottom of the sponge and place to one side. 5. Now remove the side panels. These are also friction fit and will come off with light force. 6. Gently remove the air filter mesh from both side panels and the back or rear panel. 7. You can now brush or vacuum any dust off the filters if required. 8. When you're done, reinsert the air filters into the panels. 9. You can now refit the side panels by slotting the bottom into the lip and pushing to top into place.
