It’s great
You will need to brush your hair 1st, if you were to just use this without any products before hand it will dry your hair out! However
Gariner Fructis Miraculous oil brushing express applied before using makes an extremely huge difference, my hair can go straw dry, as a result it goes frizzy and dull,
If you put the above product in 1st before straightening you will get very nice reasonable straight hair,
So once you have brushed hair out, applied the oil, this will help extremely! Even if you are like me and have straw dry hair! I have a...Read more
ctually had straw like hair and actually been able to get my hair horribly oily from applying to much oil before straightening, I have found using this to be a lot easier then a traditional thong straightener/flat iron, I am careful where I place my hand because of the controls, mine I actually have to push in a bit to get it to respond, so have not accidentally modified the temperature during use
Purchased in May 2021.

i can't live without this product
I am very happy with this product. Very easy to use and you have to be careful sometimes because it can get tangled in your hair and it doesn't take too long to heat up

Could be better
The heating button is on the wrong side for right handed people and the temperature keeps adjusting down all the time. I also find the tines in the brush way to hard and thick, they need to be a bit smaller. I have very fine hair and I find it too hard to brush through.

Fantastic but...
This worked beautifully. With very little effort my hair was straight, smooth and soft. But... the on/off and temp +/- buttons are on the side. Right where your hand is?! I was constantly changing the temp up and down. So frustrating.

The best hairbrush
It heats up within seconds up to 180oC
Need to be careful because it gets very hot - should use wearing gloves
Straightens hair very quickly
Although it advises to use on dry hair, I feel that it works better on towel-dried hair and prevents static friction on your hair

Hard bristles
This product did what it advertised. It straightened my hair (very long hair). There are problems how ever.
1: The button are easily pressed while brushing your hair, turning the machine on and off.
2: The bristles are so hard and not quite long enough.
3: My hair was being pulled with every brush stroke, which caused considerable pain.

Not Good For Your Hair
This was the first straightening brush I'd ever bought and it wasn't very good. The brush itself is rounded and heavy so not that easy to use, I could never get close to the roots so would have fuzzy roots. Also the silicone layer covering the bristles became dirty and sticky over time (probably from hair products) and my hair would stick and snag on the bristles. I couldn't just pull the brush through my hair otherwise I'd snap half the strands. It would be better if the brush was rectangular and there were plastic bristles in addition to the ...Read more
ceramic/silicone bristles to guide the hair through more effectively. After about a year the silicone covering has worn off several of the bristles and I think my hair is being heat damaged so I'm going to try a new straightening brush!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Can live without it
It does the job and straighten my hair. However, I would definitely burn my hands every time I use it. It also heats up quite slowly. The buttons for adjusting the temperature are on the sides where you grip and I always end up pressing on them accidentally which is pretty inconvenient.

Liked it but..
I liked this product but just a bit hard to use and not so good for a long term use. It also hurts a little at scalp when you press it deep. Heat settings are precise and straightens the hairs moderately. Overall I would recommend to buy at your own risk.

Bristles are too hard
I really don't like this product.
The bristles are too hard and hurt my scalp. It also takes quite a long time to dry my hair properly and doesn't really straighten too well.
It sits in the drawer and I can't even get rid of it for free on gumtree.

Good product!
Overall I'm happy with this product. It heats up quick and you can set up the heat degree. I've been using this for roughly 5 months and I like it. It's quick and easy, especially when you try to straighten back part of the hair.

The heat settings...
Yes it's easy to use, it does snag hair during operation but I suggest brushing first helps immensely.
It heats extremely fast so it needs toggling to get your perfect temperature setting.
I found myself more comfortable with the Straight Away Brush the more I used it, I'm so pleased that I didn't spend $100's more getting an expensive brand name as the Straight Aways performance has been on par or above others advertised.

Not a fan
I found this to be easy to use, simply just brush your hair it does not snag unless of course your hair is knotty. However i did not like this product at all as my hair is rather curly. It seemed to just make my hair fluffy and frizzy. I would prefer a straighten even though more time consuming the finish is just so much better. For me this was a let down and not worth the money.

Good but not perfect
The instyler does straighten your hair, however it is not straight it like a straightening iron would. It also takes a while to do your hair because of this. However, it is good for the price and good for fine or thick straight or wavy hair. I wouldn't recommend it for curly or frizzy hair.

Hate it
It's not for all hair types as stated. Not for curly thick hair that's for sure. My hair turned out worse and very dry than my natural hair. Would not recommend to people with thick hair. Totally waste of my money.

Not for thick, curly hair
Requires a lot of repetitive brushing to get the hair to look calmer. I also found it difficult to make sure all the hair was close to the ceramic, so I didn't feel like it got to the roots at all. Good for quick touch ups once hair is already straightened but I would still use a regular flat iron the first round.

It is alright
Ive been after a straightening brush for a while not, hoping it will save me time in the mornings when compared to my normal straightener. This was however not the case as it left my hair very dry. Always had to condition is 2x more when i planned to use this.

Its OK..Makes hair very frizzy and dry.
I bought this straightener from Myers a few monthd back. I bought it thinking it will save me time. Not very impressed with it. It makes gair very dry and frizzy. It takes lot of time to straighten the hair with it. I gzve used it only a couple times since i bought it. I would rathrr use my normal straightener . Heating time is ok.

Do not waste your money
This was a waste of time and money, I have frizzy hair and it was hard to brush through and it did nothing at all. It did heat up but it did not straighten at all.

Waste of Money. Doesn't remove the frizz. Burns the skin.
Having shoulder length curly (thin) hair, it's usually not too hard for me to straighten. But was I looking for a quicker alternative to the hairdryer. This was DEFINITELY NOT the right product. After using it a couple of times on my own hair, my 14 year old with frizzy / fine hair, and my 12 year old with thick / soft / wavy hair, here is what I found:
* Heats up quickly (the only reason I'm giving it 1 star)
* Buttons on the handle are in an awkward position so the temperature was constantly being adjusted as I was unkowingly knocking th...Read more

I took it overseas with me for 2 months but after I came back it says error. How do I fix it

Hi! Overseas electricity has different output rates so as for example Australia and America are different, I don’t believe this unit is designed as a “dual voltage” appliance, some other brands are advertised as this so can work in different countries
Not sure this would be covered under warranty either
