Hey, so we have two large ironman fridges and both work well on mains but who we plug it into our car 12v supply, the display flashes and it wont fire up :( Any ideas??

this probably means your battery does not have enough power in it to run it or the setting on the back is set to high.
yep all set to low but I will have the mechanics check out the battery and upgrade it (it may even be the alternator) I will check that out... Although this ones weird, because in our caravan I have two large car batteries in parallel and the same happens on both fridges. But I will get hold of a car sparks and get them on it... thanks heaps
Try changing the selector switch on your fridges to low

depends on what car you are running it in and what size battery it is. to be safe go medium .

I have the ironman 50l ice cube. With 3 2l frozen coke bottles in it and running after 3 hours it still says it's at 14° and compresor is still running flat out, in side it is freezing everything. How do i fix the temperature pick up line. Its the second fridge that has done this now. Feeling frustated. Was quoted $450 to fix it. But read here some where the temp prob breaks away from the side of the internal lining, hence the false reading. How do i fix it. Thanks for any help.

It does sound like the thermostat is not working at all so yes would need to be replaced.
It would be possible the fridge may still be under warranty so would be best to contact Ironman either a local supplier or Ironman direct to see if they can help you in any way possible I would think they would be able to do this for you.

My 50l fridge has the Er1 on it and won't do anything can't turn off or get anything on the screen is there a way I can rest it or is it a broken part inside ?

Brett you would be best to contact local supplier for Ironman as they are always helpful sound like you may require additional parts.
If you like you can google closest ironman supplier in your region who should be able to help you out.

My 50L ironman fridge is 3.5 years old and has begun to say 15+ Degrees when inside is frozen and freezing everything anyone had this problem hoping an easy fix

It sounds like the thermometer probe may need to be replaced. This is a very quick and inexpensive fix. I would contact your local outlet to arrange a fix.
I had the same issue wih mine, apparently if stored without use for decent amount of time the probe shrinks and cracks. Ironman replaced my probe with a stainless steel one now and I should never have this issue again, fantastic service from Ironman Bendale and MNF Burleigh.

I have a very good relationship with my Ironman dealer and as I have bought many Ironman items from them they never hesitate to get any spares for whatever I need. Hope this helped you in any way :)
Hey Tommy, Ironman 4x4 sell through a distributor network. Usually it's the distributors who can order one in on your behalf. Alternatively you may be able to call Ironman 4x4 directly and they may be able to take payment over the phone and ship one to you.
