We have just bought a Swift Jayco camper trailer. we are unable to wind it up fully where it is kept and are wondering if it would be safe to pull the beds out to pack when the trailer is not fully wound up.

I have a Jayco Penguin 2013, the electric roof lift won’t go up but the motor runs,manual lift won’t work either.

Just bought 2nd hand 2012 model and having trouble with winder shaft which has rounded out and not engaging is this common and and easy fix.

Does anyone have a 2015 flamingo touring model that has 2 water tanks 70 Ltr each, twin batteries, roof rack and hot water service with outdoor shower taps fitted form dealer and can share tow ball weight, atm, tare weight from compliance plate. 2017 Jayco Swift Outback door is near impossible to get into position after being lowered from roof. The hinged elbow needs a very solid whack before it moves, or it won't move at all. The camper is raised to its full height and is level both ways. Any ideas please?

I am contemplating purchasing a new Jayco Penguin (on road). I have read a series of reviews where penguin owners have experienced significant failures with the lifting system. I have previously owned Jayco campers the lifting system and cables never failed and lasted. My question is two fold (a) is Jayco using lower quality materials in their new campers in the lift system (b) has Jayco rectified the problem? I can deal with a draw not closing, or a light not working etc but if I have to worry about the lifting system failing on the way to Uluru that’s a different matter!
