Second hand dealer with worst customer service i have ever experienced
If someone told me this i would think it is a bad joke but since i experienced it myself i know it isn't.
16.04.2020 ordered an LG V50 smartphone online for pick up in the Hoppers Crossing store, the phone was listed as in stock
Half an hour later the store calls me telling me that they don't have stock even if it was listed as in stock. Asks me to collect the phone from the Werribee store. l of fingerprints and a few other marks. That's not how new phones look like but OK. I set up the phone and realize that the display is not responsive. Brand new phone, covered with marks and faulty. Jackpot. 17.04.2020 i take the phone back to the Werribee store. Of course, there is no more stock to exchange the phone. The employee rings up Altone which is the only store that has any stock and isn't over 500KM away. He rings up the store to make sure they have stock. They do have one in stock but it is reserved for a customer. Slightly annoyed i ask for a refund since there is no replacement available. Since this was an online order they can't refund me. It has to be sent to the head office for a refund and it will take 3 to 5 business days. Just ridiculous, we aren't in the 90s anymore. Conveniently they can offer a store credit instantly, without any wait. I take the store credit because i intended to use the money anyways for the phone that was in stock in Altona if the customer doesn't take it who had it on hold. I call Altone and ask nicely if they could put it on hold for me in case the other customer doesn't collect. And if they can't just to give me a call once his time is over and i will come and collect it. No they are to busy to give customers a call, no they can't put it on hold either. First in best dressed are the exact words of the employee. What? You are telling me that you can't put an item on hold if it doesn't sell while the item currently is on hold? Very Poor Delivery Service by Toll
Given the current times of social distancing, my 74 year old mother ordered an online product from JBHIFI. She has not left the house since making the order. She has since received advice that no one was home at the time of delivery so she would need to collect the order from the Toll Collection point. This is a significant health risk for my Mother, so I called the Toll Priority phone number to get the order redelivered. s later, my mother receives advice from Toll that she will need to pick up the order at the Toll Collection point!!! So, I call Toll back (only a 15 minute wait this time), and they confirmed there was nothing that they could do and despite Mum being 74, she would need to pick it up at the Depot. You have lost my mother and I, as a future client JB and Toll.

Always a great experience
JB has always been a great company. They stock or can order in a wide range of goods that other companies don’t. We always get looked after with price, so we don’t feel the need to look online, and the service is always excellent. They hire quality employees, and often staff that have a lot of personality and flare. It’s great to see.

terrible customer service
Went into the Wollongong store and the store manager was extremely rude, had poor customer service skills, was arrogant, and did not deal from a consumers perspective well at all. The manager refused my product return after being shown the faulty item and ignorantly refused my return of it.
I wouldn't recommend dealing with the current store manager. Avoid going into JBHIFI WOLLONGONG

Worst Customer Service JB Hi-Fi Hoppers Crossinhg
Worst customer service ever you can expect. When I called about my faulty TV on 12 April store manager has asked to bring the TV to store and they will able to help so I loaded my 65 inch TV in car and went to store. The Manager name [name removed] first declined to listen at all and said why you brought your TV to store. After I showed the call logs she disappeared for 30 min and came back with same answer take the TV back. How is it possible one manger ask to bring TV and other say take it back.
Complete disrespect for customer and no effort to help.

Huge thank you to Jay and the team at JB Hi Fi Browns Plains. I returned a watch that was still in warranty which Samsung refused to cover (a fault with the watch). Jay was very helpful and helped me out with my watch. Great customer service! Would highly recommend!

Poor delivery service with Toll
Still waiting for delivery, have had 3 messages on consecutive days, stating it was on the truck for delivery. When I was finally able to contact Toll they said they would let me know tomorrow.

Snobbish Sales attendants
JB Hifi has had an advantage with Dicksmith going online and have emerged as one of the biggest technology sellers in recent years .They have a good collection of items and goods but however most of their staff are snobbish, rude and sometimes clueless . They often tend to behave as they are working in the RnD of a technology giant . The place is good to buy if you know what you want and always do your research before going in store . Also look for the correct sales assistance who will listen and give you the correct advice however its a Probability of 2-3% . One of the positive of JB Hifi they do price match or allow negotiation provided you get hold of the correct sales person !

Launceston store needs new workers, pick up ya game..
We have been in sooooo many times to buy products and every time we go in not one person will come up and ask if we would like help with anything, everyone walks stright past us it's absolutely disgusting service, we actually walk out and go else where, we are kidding ourselves each time we go back in to except to get service... Time to higher people who actually can to their job right. Launceston store you are disgusting.

Fantastic Support in a Time of Difficulty
I wanted to purchase a new TV. I went to the stores and explained that I did not have any way to get it home. I just wanted their recommendations and advice.
Every person I spoke to was so helpful, even though they knew I could not purchase it in store. When I went online to purchase my chosen set it was sold out.
I looked at other sets but had certain questions, e.g. Does it have a way to connect to my computer? I rang the store, and the in store staff were so helpful in giving me advice, including telling me which cable to purchase for the computer connection. The delivery was amazingly quick and a day after we went into lockdown.
I would recommend JB HiFi anytime.

Don’t trust their bonus offers
I preordered an album from JB Hi-Fi online because it says that you receive a bonus shirt (JB usually does offers like this for upcoming albums). I later find out the shirts won’t be arriving due to a delay and that they’ll supply another bonus item instead (an official beach towel), come as no surprise that wasn’t in my package either. I don’t see the point of advertising bonus items if you fail to provide them, then offer new ones and fail to provide those as well.

JB is fine, their shipping via Toll is terrible
JB has a decent selection and the prices aren't too bad. Where it all comes apart is where they use Toll for their shipping. Toll's completely unreliable. We've been waiting on a package for days now even though Toll's own tracking says it's been picked up for delivery two days in a row. Think I'll just go back to eBay.

Sending wrong product
I've ordered multiple times with JB online and had no problems in the past, but this time I was extremely disappointed to find that the video game I ordered was completely different to what I received. How could they mistake the product I ordered? I almost feel like it was done deliberately.
Currently waiting to hear back from customer service via email -- why on earth they don't have a telephone number for faster communication is beyond me.
