Jeep... title is enough...
Spacious inside. Nice interiors. More powerful engine. Quite cockpit. My wife loves driving it. Good ground clearance. Use Jeep everyday. No issues at all. Customer service is very professional. Very comfy for long drives.
Purchased in September 2021 at Jeep Dealers for $42,000.00.

Extremely good value for money.
I have now had 4 jeeps (3 toyotas etc) and cannot fault this car. I have a 2017 Laredo optioned with factory Leather, Sunroof and off road Adventure 2 package. The car has never missed a beat (35,000ks) and even if it does it has 5 years warranty. It tows my 2.5t Van like its not there, super comfortable, and fuel economy is very very good.. have had 4 of them is everytime I look around I just cant tick as many boxes as the Jeep does and for the price its hard to go past... Then when you factor in that 4 ive owned have never had one single warranty claim!! whay wouldnt you. Best thing you can do is NOT listen to the so called experts who have never actually owned one and go drive one, or ask and actual owner when you spot one. You will love it.

We have two Jeep Grand Cherokees, one 4WD and one 2WD, both excellent cars and amazing value for what you get. Lots of goodies, both with sat nav & leather due to offers at the time. Paid $51k for the 4x4 and $34k for the 4x2 (ex demo with a few thousand km on the clock).

Best can I have driven and I had over 30
Had GC Laredo 3.0 diesel for 6 years it has done 215 000km not missing a beat. Has replaced the waterpump recently but maybe because I pushed it too hard after 6 years. Test drive the Prado yesterday what a donkey!! You just can't compare the power the comfort and the styling.

Jeep grand cherokee blown Auto transmission
I have a 2013 jeep grand with 90ks had the auto serviced at 80k and blew the Auto. We're an elderly couple and cant believe what has happened. We spoke to jeep (FCA) regarding the auto transmission has blown up but they wont help with the problem... I cant believe that a vehicle that has 90ks has blown the auto.. I'll never buy or recommend jeep to anyone... absolutely rubbish for the price you pay!!!

Excellent car
Great car to drive, pleanty of space, gets up and go when you want it to.
Functions and features are great, design is sleek and luxurious.
You feel like you driving a small car with they way it manoeuvres and responds. I have had a ford territory, cx7, captiva, dualis nothing compares to the jeep.
My wife loves it so much that she took it now and been driving it since 2014

After many visit to dealer and wasting time to fix my multimedia issue, finally got new media deck installed but still same freezing issue...can't skip, browse or change the media mode....bluetooth connectivity issues as well....Jeep come on BEEP BEEP..

Performance is very good. Has plenty of 'get up and go' when asked, after exhibiting the (apparently typical) slight initial diesel lag. Slight. Noise? What noise? That's one of the reasons I purchased (tow a heavy trailer sometimes), along with the stack of research revealing a major 'Customer Care' revamp (Now have a huge spare parts Melbourne based warehouse, and guarantee(?) to get necessary parts imported within 5 days to fix your car), PLUS a 5 year 'There and Back' guarantee, anywhere in Australia. Anywhere. Including in the middle of the desert. Build quality isn't comparable to German, Nissan or Toyota,. Neither is price. Six Times.
My 2013 Grand cherokee 2nd one, started leaking Red colored Water behind the Radiator and had to take it back Six 6, times to find out that the Radiator had a Leak.Three times to my own Mech., and the Last time back to the Jeep Agent Two times back to them and they said there was No leak so when the red Water appeared again I got in behind the Radiator and took a Photo of it, now its going to get a new Radiator but it Won't be a Jeep one because the difference is A$1600.00 for a Jeep one and A$ 800.00 all up for another different one.The Damn thing has only done 45000 K's and all of that on the Bitumen,the Rest of the Beast runs pretty well, I will be getting a new Vehicle soon but it won't be a Jeep.

Great Car great value for money and getting better
late 2013 MY 2014 model, One owner 130k never missed a beat, super fuel efficent, Laredo 3lt Diesel, optioned with Quad track 2 and Air Suspension, we are off road campers, the car is incredible on road and so capable off road, a very surprising package, originally the dealership was expensive and adequate, Jeep dealers are now cost affective and A1, the only caution I can give is service the transmission at 100k and at a specialist centre not Jeep because of cost and a false belife that life time service interval is a reality. A new 8 speed box is not a good idea.
Over all no regrets the car is a sweet drive and a plesure to own,

Best I've ever had
Bought a 2013 used with 70000k on the clock. It drives like a dream! Only problems have been things like lights and a few other bits once I'd driven the kilometres up a bit - my advice is that, unless your car is under warranty, don't get services or work done with Chrysler Jeep. They charge far more than your local garage for the same job.
I'm adding to this by saying that the Service Department at Mornington should be avoided at all costs.

The biggest LEMON ever!
Well, I have had issues since the day it left the showroom, top engine had to be replaced at 19,000kms and now the gearbox at 35,000kms....The worse car ever. Only 2.5 years old and 35,000kms and has spent more time at the dealership than in my garage. I was told not to buy a Jeep and I did not listen....I should have.....

A hit and miss for most people but a homerun hit for me

xamples and talking to some dealers, I went for the jeep. I felt that if I bought the subaru outback, I would have saved some money, still had the family practicality that I wanted but when I see a jeep GC pass me by the street, I would still yearn and long for it and may regret going for the subaru. I bought the 4x4 petrol model. It never failed me once. I use it as my daily drive for work and used it to drive interstate for family trips. It has enough power to carry 4 people plus lots of luggage in the back. Initially I was worried about the relatively high petrol consumption driving in the stop start Sydney traffic, i was getting around 13-14ltrs/100 kms. But using it on the freeway, I was getting about 9ltrs/100kms. So for the huge 95ltr petrol tank, I had enough petrol to drive straight from sydney to Gold Coast without refueling in between plus driving around town once you get there. It also has enough power to maintain 100kph speed even when going uphill in the pacific highway. Just put it on cruise control and it just goes. So far I have put it 65000 kms in the last 3 years but my tyres are still original with good thread left, plus my brakes front and back still have 70% left on them. The only thing I needed to replace at 3 years was the key fob battery and the front wiper blades. The only warranty issue I had was a noisy valve lifter that came up after 2 years and the dealer replaced under warranty. I took care of my jeep as I did with all my cars. Regular log book service in the dealer, car wash by hand by me regularly and just ordinary 91RON unleaded. So far so good. I am really happy with it. The only other wish I have is if I had the SRT model because that is a real beast, but is not practical for an ordinary working family man like me. I still plan to keep my jeep for at least the next 3 years unless I see another SUV that appeals to me but so far nothing ticks all of my boxes aside from my Jeep Grand Cherokee.Similar opinion? t the hub nut loose on the passenger side, which meant the hub was free to move back and forth which damaged the cv boot and could have lead to the wheel coming completely off while driving, being I have my 2 son's and wife on board most times could have been devastating if it caused an accident. When I reported the fault, I had to fight to get the dealership to accept liability and repair the damage. Now less than a year after the sump repair was done, it's leaking again, and the other sump gasket is leaking as well because the plastic sump is warped, they (Mt gravatt Jeep) want to charge me nearly $4000 to repair it but won't fix the original leaking gasket under warranty even though it had been less than a year, I've tried to get jeep Australia to call me back about this but no reply so far. Next Stop Ombudsman, I recommend owning a jeep grand Cherokee for only as long as you can tolerate the useless service departments of any dealer you go to and the continuous dangerous failures.Similar opinion? Best vehicle I have owned
We bought our JGK diesel Laredo new in 2012.
Apart from fuel, routine maintenance and registration we have not spent a cent on repairs and had been totally reliable after 120000ks.
It has exceeded all expectations. Tows my 22ft New Age van with absolute ease.
Best vehicle I have ever owned and will not hesitate to buy another one.
Most other owners I have spoken to seem to have the same option so I don’t know where all the nay sayers are coming from.
The trick is to buy from an experienced and reputable Jeep dealer. ( they are out there)

Stylish, Strong Enough, Resonable Price
Bought my Jeep GC Laredo V3.6 Petrol 2012 (Built by Mercedes - Chrysler). Paid $42000 brand new and comparing to other 4x4 in the market at the same size and options it was easily 20 grand cheaper.
Drive smooth, plenty of power (200KW) and easy to drive. Good visibility, lot's of basic options that are usually extra on other brands.
Suspensions are a bit soft for tough off road driving but still do their job. Fuel consumption is not too bad 15 in the city and 10 on highway.

My one has a little oil leak after 60.000 mileage and transmission kicks sometimes, Front rotors are uneven and steering shakes on pressing brakes. The Jeep GC looks great and drives well on the Hwy... when it's running. That's all well and good but unfortunately if you buy a Jeep, be ready for a lot of sad days. Two engines blown, transmission gone, radiator replaced, 5 headlights blown, 2 keys replaced ($450) each and an endless list of electrical faults all in 3 years and before it reached 100k km. $30k of repairs in 3 yrs on repairs, 13k after warranty out of my own pocket. "ah, another Jeep, we pick up a quite a few of these." This pretty much sums up that the vehicle is a complete lemon but it gets worse. Chrysler / Fiat were horrendous to deal with and I would describe their treatment of customers as nothing other than "bully tactics". The Jeep dealership at Adelaide city Jeep were absolutely horrible to deal with and dodged every bullet they could to avoid blame. I have never experienced anything like it. After doing some research, I found there were many others in the same boat as me, even a website called "destroy my Jeep". So I decided to fight back. After months of disputes, Chrysler finally admitted to fault and replaced $13k worth of faulty parts on the vehicle at no charge for parts however Adelaide City Jeep charged me $4k for labour to fix the vehicle. Go figure. I honestly don't know how they sleep at night. Every time I see a Jeep now I just think "you poor". When I handed the car into the auction yards, I didn't even look back at it. We love our Jeep
We have the 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo- diesel, which we use for mainly highway work and towing (mostly use a smaller vehicle around town). It is quite simply an awesome highway and tow vehicle. I tow a boat, and a three tonne caravan, and it tows either effortlessly, and with amazing fuel economy. The car is comfortable, has been 100% reliable in the nearly four years we have owned it, and there is very little I can complain about.

40 minutes for security guards and police to smash through my window. It was terrifying. Something a mother should never experience. The electronics on this vehicle malfunctioned and out of no fault of my own automatically locked. It should only lock when driving and once it reaches a certain speed, 15km. I went straight to Heartland Chullora where I bought this vehicle and I received the following response: must be a clitch and sorry you are out of warranty by 5 months so nothing we can do. Called Jeep and they said this has happened before and there is nothing we can do. What a joke. This is criminal. My daughter could have died. If this malfunction can cause the car to just automatically lock itself what stops it from rolling down a wheel or locking the wheel while I'm driving. Do yourself a favour and invest in a better vehicle a better BRAND!!!!!! There is no customer service when things go wrong and if you read reviews online it is only a matter of time before a child dies in one of their cars or their cars swerve off the road through no fault of the owner. Since November I have tried numerous times calling JEEP customer service and praying I get some service from someone!! Nothing. I went to Fair trading and they contacted JEEP and were advised by their legal team that they were not going to reimburse me for my request (at the very least I requested my excess be paid $850 to my insurer for the damages caused not much I had thought?). Next step now I have to proceed with obtaining electrical reports and going to court. As a mother it’s the last thing I want to be doing as I have a one year old to raise plus work etc. I don’t have a spare second to myself let alone going to court for a faulty car and an irresponsible and thoughtless global company. But none the less I have to do this. A child can die and I am not prepared to feel guilt for them. It is the principal! Don’t learn for yourself about this car manufacturer and the lack of service they provide as I did!!!
