It’ll take you places you never thought you’d go!
Cons: it gets uncomfortable on long trips.
Pros: bulletproof off-road ability, retro looks, it’ll take you places you’ve never been before.
I’ve had mine three years and no problems at all. The only problem is deciding where to go next!
Purchased in June 2021 at Jeep Dealers.

230k on the clock and still going strong
I use this car every day and goes off road at least one weekend a month. I haven't modified the engine in any way. The only issue I have had in 230k kms has been the 4wd transfer linkage and the plastic bushes. Only things I have changed on the car have been belts, oil, air filter. Only mods are a 2imch lift and bigger tyres. Most reliable car I have owned.
I don't take my car to the dealership to be serviced tho, since its double the price of every where else and they never seem to have parts.
Purchased in March 2021 for $43,000.00.

I absolutely love this car.
I use this car for local driving, longer distances driving and 4x4. Use it daily and needs to get serviced once a year. Not had any issues and still got a while to run on the warranty. I love the car, its fun to drive and you feel like a boss driving it. Cant get enough of it.
Purchased in November 2021 for $33,000.00.

Was ok when standard
The car was ok when it was standard but not any more, I put in the most highly rated spring coils with Rancho shocks and it rode like a brick. The 8 ply all terrain light truck tyres did play a role however even with passenger tyres it was still bad
The take away from this message is i don't recommend this as a daily driver. Even when it is stock based on my experience. Especially if you have back pain. Will either buy an fj cruiser again or a prado 150.
I had a 2014 wrangler unlimited sport 4 door petrol, for an everyday car stick to independent suspension and not a live axle

LOVE IT, LOVE ME BACK
My jeep is a 2012 sport jk, I use it a lot, commuting, traveling, 4wding, shopping, city, beach driving.
Already has 140.000kms, no problems, it has been the most reliable car, I had to change the battery twice but in 7 years I think is fair. I service it regularly and look after it. Still drives like when I picked it up form the dealer.
Purchased in June 2021 for $40.00.

Leaking car
We got a new 2018 wrangler JK as a new family car as we just had our first child. Mechanic wise, car drives well. It started off as just a door ajar issue. Got it fixed numerous times before it actually got fixed. One bad rainy day the top panel above the head unit started to leak. Sent it back to City’s jeep (mind you this was the 4th visit in 3 months of picking up the car). We’ve had the seals replaced and had the car sent there another 2 times. Today it’s just be taken back again with more leaking. We keep getting told by city Jeep the car is waterproof. However, the car can’t even withstand a little rain. The service department at City Jeep aren’t very helpful too. Starting to change our minds about the car....

Absolutely love this beast
Nice smooth drive with a 6 speed manual that keepsvthe revs down. Got the 70 year anniversary model with leather interior and it looks Mikky Mouse. Nice high ride, great flares and a pretty ballsy v6. Black on Black, all the fruit. Gunna try 4wd this weekend Wonnerup Beach. Giddiup.

Problems that can leave you stuck up the creek without a paddle
Overall its been a good car but it has had a couple of major issues though. One being the control track light and ABS light constantly on and putting the engine into limp mode. All this while travelling out west, well away from any sort of mechanical service. Turned out to be faulty crank angle sensor wires. This was fixed under warranty after finally making it home travelling 3500km in limp mode. Now, just out of warranty it has sprung an oil leak. Turns out to be a cracked oil cooler housing. Looking online it is a common problem. Not...Read more
only in Australia but in the US. but sorry sir, that will be $2,000.00 bucks to fix. Hang on, its a known common problem, why isn't it covered even though its out of warranty. Not to mention it will take up to 2 weeks since as usual, Jeep don't have parts. I guess I will have to walk everywhere. i would never consider another petrol powered jeep. Perhaps a diesel, but considering the 2 problems I have had are both issues that could leave you well stranded or with a completely dead and damaged engine if you are travelling i don't think I would. After all, it is Australia and outback there isn't a service station or town every 20 or 30km. I mean, I never had another 4wd or car that had faulty crank sensors or cracked an oil cooler under 4 years old. Back to Nissan or Toyota for me when I get my next car i think.Similar opinion? Great little vehicle
Whether we're climbing a hill or heading to work, our little 08 wrangler is great fun to drive. It's not the most comfortable vehicle getting around, but it is a serious off road vehicle so you can't expect much there. We were amazed at how quiet it is in the cabin with the hard top on and while it is quite basic on the inside, there is really very little you could ask for. My wife and I are quite tall and find that the interior has plenty of space for us, and the fact you can remove the rear seats is fantastic. That being said though, with the...Read more
seats in, boot space is minimal. On the other hand, if you had the top down, the storage spaces that are there can be locked, which is quite handy. One drawback is that with its punchy 3.8l v6, it is very thirsty and with fuel prices on the rise, it's not that friendly to your back pocket. If you're looking for a tough little adventure vehicle, go no further. But if you want comfort, economy and space, this might not be ideal for you.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Jeep Wrangler. Awesome
5 out of 5, reviewed on Sep 09, 2014
It is the best feeling to own a Jeep Wrangler, I purchased A Gecko coloured Wrangler 4 door, one of the last sent to Australia in that colour. This colour has turned a lot of heads and had a lot of comments and strange looks. The jeep boasts a powerful engine which is responsive when needed. Off road performance was very surprising being very capable at getting up and down mountain trails. If you want a fun drive then ...Read more

Best purchase ever
Although the wrangler is a fuel guzzler, I feel so invincible in it. It’s easily the best car ive ever brought, I love that it’s completely versatile and convertible. So easy to take the front seat roof panels off, and quite easy to remove the hard top. Stereo is unreal, speakers in the roof. Love it

LEMON
This car is a lemon. But the four wheel driving experience was fun, performance was amazing, the car loves and was built to climb hills, out performs any other four wheel drive. Handling was controlled and steady. Noise was minimum. Easy to go over hills, mounds, rocks, water. Love the interior, heaps of legroom in the front, removable back seats for more room, unfortunately no boot room. Dashboard clean and looks amazing, really love the leather trim wheel and comfort is good. Reliability is terrible, major repairs.

Great Car - one of the best
This was the 2nd Jeep we originally had a Cherokee but the Wrangler is even better. Lots of room, hard and soft top. Good on fuel and great for 4WD. OOnly one small issue is not a great turning circle. Will always recommend Jeep, we have now gone down to a sedan however have stuck with Chrysler, great cars

Overlander - Rock Lobster REd - Fully Optioned - Two Door. 2014
The Jeep is a brand! If you are looking for refinement buy a Japanese car or Europeon car. If you want a fun car, this is the one. You can take off the roof and go Topless. You can have the hard top on. You can remove the bits over your head. It is American so if you like options this is the one for you. The car is a bit industrial. It is not the most comfortable car I have driven. It does great in urban areas. The Stereo is great. THe GPS is faulty. Siri over rides Jeepey GPS. The highway ride is pretty good for a 4wd. The ride ...Read more
on the beach is great. We go up to DOuble Island Point and we have never had to let the tyres down. No front hubs so just pull the 4wd lever back and it is on and off you go. You need to apply the 4wd but once you are shown it is easy. No soft button like those other auto everything cars. The tow capacity is real low on this short wheel base. The servicing cost sting if you use Jeep. My warranty was only 3 years so then went to Ultratune. We are not high kilometer drivers. It is about 12,000 km a year. We are upto 50,000 k at the end of 4 years. We just replace the first set of tyres at 45,000. No other issues at all. Never let us down. Replaced battery at 3 years and 3 months. I did rustproof it and think this has saved me some pain. Good clean after the beach. put rubber matts over the carpet when we go up the beach. It is competent as a 4WD but I am not keen to get it real dirty. I like the car and the thought of getting it all muddy hurts me. and scratching it Noooooo!. Jeep continues to put the front and back bumpers made from some plastic stuff that fades in the sun. You need to keep polishing them to bring them back to new look. Don't like how the bonnet has no lock on it so if you are paranoid buy the accessory to lock it. THe back ride for passengers is not roomy. Most people that ride with us are just Jeep fanatics so it is no problem. THe AC holds the temp in Qld humidity. Keeping it in the shade is a better choice to keep it fresh. Don't forget that you need to store the hard top if you remove it. Don't forget you need to sotre the Jeep alternate back canopy somewhere in your house. As my wife says to me honey if you want men to look at you go and buy a Landcruiser!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Biggest mistake in selling it.
Loved the JK 2011 75th Anniversary Jeep. I sold it in 2016 and bought a Mazda CX3, never again I hate this car!
My Jeep was comfortable to drive, a good turning circle for it's size and people didn't pull out on your left, they would reconsider this action!
Drove to Sydney a couple of times and could get out of the car and not feel sore, unlike the Mazda CX3!
The only down side would be petrol consumption, but I did get it down to 9 ltrs per 100 klm on a long trip, which was very good considering the size of the motor. On average it would be ...Read more

Pleasantly surprised by the details!
After many years of searching for a replacement for the ever reliable Landover Defender 110 TD5, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport CRD was found and quickly purchased. With 147kw and 6 speed shift, it has much more torque and less weight so is much quicker off the line. The steering is surprisingly light and precise, while the wind and tyre noise is much less than expected. Little details like the easily removed rear seats are a nice touch. There's the expected rocking from sitting a couple of feet higher, but it's easy to get used to. The cruise control is handy and the economy is surprisingly good! The wait has been worth it!

Well put together and fun to drive. Plenty of options to choose from
I like the JK 2013. Fun to derive. Feels sturdy and great off-roader.
Like the fold-able top. Not particularly easy to fold/unfold but looks and feels great when open.
When wet need to be more careful as it tends to slip a bit when accelerate. Put new tires last month and feels better.
Love it. Especially if you go offroading
My one is diesel and it is even better.

It's a tank but I do miss some luxuries
Performance is great although it doesn't like rain. When I go to turn on a wet surface it pulls as if it wants to go straight.
Interior- great. Could do with a bit more storage eg. Some drawers under the seats or side doors. Even cup holders are minimal.
It's definitely built tough. Feels sturdy and well put together. Running costs are on the high side but that's what you would expect from a car of this size with that sort of power.
The handsfree makes a bit of a weird noises during calls but the rest is great.

I have a wrangler jk 2.8 crd with 3 doors. model 2017-2008.
I did it a body lifting.. and I put on 33 inches of tires, the wheelbarrows and the wheelbarrows, what I want to learn is because it is flying me speeds mainly on the 1st, 3rd, it does not hold them and I have to have the hand on the levers of gears, mainly in an anomalous way. the chassis is handled
.
Ηere in Greece I put oil in the car AMSOIL SIGNATURE 5W-30. I would have to get what thick oil.
what do you suggest?
I have also heard that with body lifting the engine does not work properly, just like the axle that drives the rear wheels. is true.
i will wait for your reply. thank you
