I absolutely love this car.
I use this car for local driving, longer distances driving and 4x4. Use it daily and needs to get serviced once a year. Not had any issues and still got a while to run on the warranty. I love the car, its fun to drive and you feel like a boss driving it. Cant get enough of it.
Purchased in November 2021 for $33,000.00.

Great little vehicle
Whether we're climbing a hill or heading to work, our little 08 wrangler is great fun to drive. It's not the most comfortable vehicle getting around, but it is a serious off road vehicle so you can't expect much there. We were amazed at how quiet it is in the cabin with the hard top on and while it is quite basic on the inside, there is really very little you could ask for. My wife and I are quite tall and find that the interior has plenty of space for us, and the fact you can remove the rear seats is fantastic. That being said though, with the...Read more
seats in, boot space is minimal. On the other hand, if you had the top down, the storage spaces that are there can be locked, which is quite handy. One drawback is that with its punchy 3.8l v6, it is very thirsty and with fuel prices on the rise, it's not that friendly to your back pocket. If you're looking for a tough little adventure vehicle, go no further. But if you want comfort, economy and space, this might not be ideal for you.

Biggest mistake in selling it.
Loved the JK 2011 75th Anniversary Jeep. I sold it in 2016 and bought a Mazda CX3, never again I hate this car!
My Jeep was comfortable to drive, a good turning circle for it's size and people didn't pull out on your left, they would reconsider this action!
Drove to Sydney a couple of times and could get out of the car and not feel sore, unlike the Mazda CX3!
The only down side would be petrol consumption, but I did get it down to 9 ltrs per 100 klm on a long trip, which was very good considering the size of the motor. On average it would be ...Read more

Car was falling apart
We brought a brand new jeep in 2011. The wrangler practically fell apart. We had it serviced at Adelaide city jeep where they zip tied the radiator back to the car. The roof started cracking for no reason. One of the rims cracked and we were informed that it could have given way at any time whilst driving. The hood straps were also faulty. We could only get warranty help after fighting tooth and nail and were called liars on a number of occasions and could never get onto a complaints line and were completely ignored via email. Jeep australia have the most disgusting customer service as well as adelaide city jeep. I recommend staying far away from jeeps especially the wrangler.we ended up selling it as it was too dangerous to keep.

Love my Wrangle
Ok.. to all you people out there complaining "my jeep doesn't handle well onroad" ... You fools, it's a 4x4 !!!!! If u want full comfort buy a bloody car. I have a 2011 JK 2dr and I LOVE IT.. 70000 k's in 2 yrs and travelled all around and across the centre of Aust and not had one problem.. except now I have to change the standard suspension because it's shot .. but that's it. It handles brilliantly on and off road and is stock standard .. only addition is bullbar, snorkel and roof rack. Every model car has its lemons so stop complaining about ...Read more
stupid rubbish like comfort or fuel consumption ( I get 550ks on average to a tank) not bad for a little box on wheel.. My only gripe is... I go through too many windscreens! !!! Haha. Update. . 26/5/15 My little red 2011 Wrangler has now done 100150ks and still running strong. New Old Man Emu suspension is awesome. Jeeps downfall with the Wrangler is its crap suspension. . Sags way too quick for the weight and performance of a 4x4. I would not drive anything else. . I LOVE IT An absolute gem to drive, a definite head turner Absolute rubbish, rude and disgusting after care service (Nunnawadding Jeep)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

CRD Auto overheats in summer, terribly supported by Jeep dealerships
I used to have a TJ Wrangler which was a great little 4WD that was built well. Having a family now I thought the Unlimited 4 door would be a good idea, in diesel and auto for the wife. How wrong I was. Now I had heard people complain about Jeep's build quality, but I loved Jeeps and so was not listening. First off, Jeep did not build this vehicle for a hot country. Australia and South Africa all have reports of the same problem with poor heating on the diesel auto. I drove up the Toowoomba range with 12,000kms on the clock in summer and t...Read more
he temp gauge flew up, the auto gear locked in third, and we began to lose power. I hobbled up in the slow lane to the top and it was all good... the problem disappeared. I thought it was a one off. Again that summer, I drove up to Tamborine Mountain but the problem was a lot worse. The Jeep virtually ground to hault, engine light flashing, locked in second gear up a steep incline. we waited five minutes and let it cool then hobbled to the top. Jeep Albion acted interested when I bought it in, but both times simply said, "we couldn't replicate the problem". I asked them how they tried and they tried in their air-conditioned shed. They also drove around Albion - not exactly the same conditions are they? Of course they couldn't replicate the problem. The problem disappeared in winter but every summer came back. I gave up on Albion as I did not think they were even attempting to fix it. They said they had never heard of a CRD overheating, which was BS - you can see on the web people talking about the same problem being reported to THEIR service centre. Salters basically gave the same response - can't replicate it so the problem doesn't exist. I am not sure what they wanted... perhaps a ruined transmission as proof? Now I have a leaking radiator, and I have had the same issues with squeaking brakes that other reviewers have had... not major but annoying. The main issue is that Chrysler/Jeep and the dealers play down and ignore the poor cooling design that is causing owners dramas. The transmission and air con share the same cooler, which is too small, and Jeep could not be bothered to deliver a fix. I would never buy another one of these junk cars. If they had fixed it and acknowledged the problem, sure I would be happy enough. But pretending there is no problem is appalling and I imagine Jeep will be headed back to being a small time seller of vehicles like in the 90's if they keep selling poor vehicles and not backing up their faults. I should have used common sense and bought a Japanese 4WD. My other vehicle is Landcruiser ute - virtually indestructible. Fun car, classic style, goes well offroad Overheats on inclines, in summer, terrible design of auto cooling system, atrocious support from Jeep dealers5 comments
Thanks mate ... great review. Humming and ha-ing about buying one ... comments like yours need to be heard! Have you tried Armstrongs at Twba??
Ended up a 3 month wait for parts, including an idler pulley, which went when it was all disassembled. If you want to buy one, mine's got all new cooling parts, and it's for sale ;-)

As a follow up, my Jeep developed a leak in the radiator, the water pump and ended up with a faulty viscous fan clutch, but it took three visit to the dealer to get them to find the leaks (which were ... Read more
leaking about 2L a week. Jeep has been off the road since beginning of December, awaiting a water pump because apparently Jeep Australia can't get a water pump from the States in less than a month. The dealer has been good and given us a loan car, but really, Jeep Australia - poor effort - 1+ month for a part?
