Cost will depend on the level of activity. Once of treatments with no warranties start at $180. In most cases to get cockroaches under control it will require two visits. This will also keep them away for a long period of time. To get a more accurate quote, your local technician would need to talk to you. Hi Zhijie. If you find mice in your home you need to look for points where they can access. For example if you have a gas cooktop or oven then mice often access kitchens from where the gas pipe goes through the wall. If there are gaps under front and rear doors this is also where they can access your home. If you go to a local hardware store you can ask for pest strips that will seal this gap up when the door is closed. Just be aware that mice maybe coming in from your roof and even if you do the suggestions above they may still find their way in. You might then need the help of a pest controller to get rid of them and help you

I know that it’s franchised so how do I know that the Franchisee is using cheap quality ?
Also, is it higher the quote then higher the quality or is there a standard chemical complying with Jim’s reputation regulation.

Hello, my place has been sprayed outside and inside one week ago. I found a few coackroaches dead over the week but today I found one alive inside, big and dark brown. I just freaked out. Is that normal to find someone still alive after one week of the treatment? All the spots where they might have get in are now covered. I also have screen windows, I don't know what to do more...!

Hi Cahira. Sometimes when we have warmer weather around you can find some cockroaches entering from outside. When they come in they will be affected by the treatment and aventually die. If it is a dark brown in colour it is likely to be an Australian Brown cockroach which normally likes to live outside in a garden environment. It may also be worth while to fit some pest strips to your front and rear doors to also help stop them from coming in. If you are still having problems in the next week or so please call the technician back to retreat.

usually its about 2-3 days for spraying, and if the "gel" applied is not there anymore then it will take a week,

How much should a pest inspection cost for a 4 bedroom, double story house? Also how much roughly should a termite chemical barrier cost?

Hi Lisa, unsure for a 4 bedroom but ours being 3 bedroom, large deck/pergola area, 2 tool sheds, 1 dble garage, 1 cubby, boundaries plus inside and outside was $240 hope this gives you some idea. Best get them out for a quote. For termites probably around $250ish for inspection.
I was told by the Jims tech Varinder for a proper termite barrier protection around $3000 he said its special job that requires someone that knows what they are doing. He stated they need to dig a trench around your home if your garden is hard up against the Slab and other areas eg concrete paths, patio areas etc will need to drill holes down to put the chemical in. While pricey I thought he did say it offered around 15 years protection and far better than the alternative since insurance won't cover you if those little monsters get into your home.

Was charged $198 by Jim's for a service of a 3 bedroom house, included cockroaches, mouse bait and full external wall & fence spray.
Usually paid around $250 for a local mob which went downhill more each time I used them before trying Jims.
