Hi Doug you won't get a reading on the unit untill it actually fires up now I know this might sound like silly question but have you put the batteries in correct and made sure the battery holder has actually clicked into place if you have then I would give the staff at joolca a call or flick them an email. I have found they are very help full and quick to respond.

When I've emailed joolca it usually only takes about 3 days or less, when I phone I get straight on to one of joolca's very help full staff best time to make contact is early in the day . Now if you have been trying over the festive season as i was, they had a shut down period but they made contact with in a day of resumeing work

Have Joolca changed shower heads in recently? I have had my original shower head replaced under warranty this year due to a leak and now the replacement shower head is leaking. Leak is directly from the shower rose while in the off position.

Hi my joolca hottap is quite sensitive to the slightest breeze. So far i have reversed the top vent covered the side slots to very little improvement i understand that there is an adjustment of the flame that can be done to remedy this problem if so i would be very keen to try it

HI. Just wondering whether the Hot Tap is weather proof. i.e can I leave it on the back of the trailer when it's raining etc?

Hey Chappy,
Thanks for the question. The HOTTAP isn't weather proof, so leaving it on the back wouldn't be a good idea. You should take it down and pack it away when you're done using it. Happy to clarify in more detail, just give us a bell on 1300 669 500.

1 month ago purchased a Joolca. Working fine until the heat was turned down, now it will not stay at a fixed heat. It heats up to max then goes to cold. Gas bottle replaced and batteries just to make sure it wasn't them. Could you please advise. Thank you

We have a water supply from a tank. My question is: would it be suitable to connect the water supply to the hottap unit via a pressure pump that is run by a 240 volt electric motor that is powered by a generator.

Hi Neville. We have the same situation, but were advised the pump may be too strong and blow out the Joolca system. We attached the pump to a garden tap, then attached the Joolca to the tap so we could have control of the water pressure. It works wonderfully!

I have a new Hottap and cannot get the water above 34C The burner fires up the temp dial is on max and water flow on minimum. The water from the tap was 23.2c being mid October. Ive seen videos of the unit reaching 48C and steam coming from the shower rose??
Any ideas?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I received an email from Cameron one of your very helpful team members. He suggested I try a few things and send him a short video. Problem still there and he said send it back at their expense and well fix it or replace it even though its outside warranty.
Wow 5 stars for customer service.

Shutting off at 30C means something isn't right. It might mean there is something wrong with the HOTTAP but a problem like this sounds like a much simpler and easier fix in most cases. Hey there, I'm building a campervan and I'm wanting to install your Hot water system for the Sink/Shower. My question is- is the pump run on 12V power? Also, we are wanting to use the one system for our Kitchen Sink, but also make it so that it can be turned around and out the window to be used as an outdoor shower. I'm wondering if we can replace the Shower head with one of our choosing thats more suitable for both a fixed sink and also shower. Would this be a simple fix by attaching a new hose/sink head and taps of our choice? Thanks for your time.
