The best Van I have owned........by far.
We have had six vans from 1995 to 2017. With exception to the Jurgens, they all have had leaks. Most only nominal leaks, however one was a nightmare. The thing is with timber frames even a small leak, undetected will cause major problems and expense over time. The Jurgens have the best system where roof meets walls to seal out moisture, combined with one piece roof and one piece walls and no timber frame, it is brilliant.

DRAWBAR!!
We were in Kalbarri, when a fellow Tooradin owner asked if our drawbar, where the coupling is, was splitting, don't know!, found it was splitting on both sides about 25mms, by the time we arrived home back in QLD. it had split about 150mms, Jurgens had it repaired for us, but apparently wouldn't have if we hadn't discovered the problem. All their new vans now have bolts going through both layers of the drawbar.

Great van
I have looked at the reviews up to date, our van has a power point on both sides of the bedroom now 2016 model.The spare wheel I agree hangs a bit low at the back of the van, we haven't had any trouble with this though.i had two gas outlets fitted to the side of my van,next to the outdoor kitchen, very easy access. I thought to do this, as we had other vans with the connection under the van,and they were very hard to use.This van is the best van we have had,it is great to tow,plenty of space inside,and with lots of features.We have towed the va...Read more

Love at first sight
Always had Jaycos (5 actually) but on our way home after a 17000k trip stopped at Mt Gambier and sat in a Tooradin and fell in love with lay out comfort and room. Had a few issues which were easily resolved - gold star to Shane and Greg from Donehues Hamilton. Cannot wait to hit the road with our new home

Home sweet home
Very happy with my 20013 j2601 tooraden. I have done many kms up and down the country and even took her across to tasmania and toured for 4 months their.
The only trouble ive had was my washer machine stopped working. I took it to a local dealer in melbourne during my travels and they just took out the old machine and ginstalled a new one . Great service.
I might add jurgens dont build they appliances so i couldnt fault them and their response to my problem was excellent.
I would recomend this lovely van to anyone.

Great van but after sales service is poor
We purchased a Jurgens narooma in december 2014. Before our purchase, I questioned the Jurgens factory about their dealer network australia wide should we have a problem, and was told that should a warranty issue arise, simply take it to any repairer and as long as their quote is reasonable Jurgens would be happy to use them and pay for works done.
Somehow I find this very surprising, especially as after 4 months the rear fibreglass panel has cracked in 2 places on either side. After waiting for 3-4 months to return it to the factory for eval...Read more

We have owned our Tooradin for over 12 months now and have put many K's on it. Recently went from Brisbane to Melbourne with no problems, however there are some design flaws. On one trip to Ballina we crossed the ferry to south Ballina and as we exited the rear of the van bottomed out ripping the spare wheel off and smashing the plumbing to the shower.When I got home I moved the wheel forward closer to the axels (problem solved). The other critisism I have is the position of the gas point for the outdoor cooker

Love our Tooradin
We purchased our Tooradin early 2015. We have traveled from Newcastle to the Mornington Peninsula, back to Cessnock, to Dubbo all the way to Hervey Bay then followed the coast back to the Mornington Peninsula. We have now just returned from a 3 day journey to Dimboola. We love our Tooradin. She is easy to tow, park and has the most comfortable bed. I am also very impressed with the washing machine. Best van we have owned
We were considering buying a Jayco Silverline until we walked into the Jurgens Tooradin. Absolutely no comparison, and not much dearer. Have had van one month and have done 3000 k's, great to tow, no leaks(not like previous vans), easy to clean, tremendous, leather upholstery, seat in shower, good size sink, great TV antenna.
Internal finish, as well as outside
Dealer had not done thorough check to make sure everything worked, such as gas to fridge, gas to water heater etc.

Don't be misled!
We researched buying a van for around 6 months. We have looked at so many vans, with so many floor plans. We actually gave up as we just couldn't find what we wanted for the money we had to spend.
Enter Jurgens Tooradin. Previously we had looked at these, and were immediately impressed. Needless to say we purchased a Tooradin.
Australian manufacturers are demonizing them and I think it's purely because the Jurgens vans are a genuine threat to them.

avelled beautifully over some pretty poor roads. The only naysayers have been salesmen of other brands. Everything stayed in place, nothing rattled loose, the finish was far superior to most vans we looked at. All in all, we are thrilled with the Jurgens Tooradin. o two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement, without laying on the ground. I am sure any elderly owner will have a similar problem. Jurgens don't respond, although they did refer me to Alko, who laughed and said they only supply the legs not the chassis, they also agreed that the legs are very poorly positioned for the age of most prospective purchasers, who will be like me,and not realise the problem until after purchase
