Small Heater... Big Review
I purchased this heater to use in our caravan... but I realised quickly that it is such a good little appliance and that using it only occasionally in the caravan was a 'waste' !! I now use it in the house, either in our bedroom or the bathroom. The fabulous features of this heater are the quietness and effectiveness... it heats the room in a flash. It has made absolutely no difference to our bills. Of course it would be costing something to run, but it is clearly minimal to us. A great heater.

Good for small areas.
I use this heater in the bathroom during the winter. It's good for those times when I need to get up during the night. Also before having a shower I switch it on about 5 minutes beforehand and it heats the room adequately. It is quick to heat and I don't need to have it on for long, which is good because I think it might be heavy on the power. I also use it in a very small study room which is not in the air con zone, so it's useful if I need to sit at the computer for a while.
I am quite happy with it.

Bad quality!
Pros: This product looks nice. It is also small and very portable
Cons: However, this Kambrook ceramic heater is very noisy. It can disturb your sleep with the noise. In addition, the temperature sensor is not accurate, often shows the wrong temperature compared to the surrounding. The control knob is easy to be broken, not durable plastic.
I am very disappointed with the quality and the noise of this Kambrook's product! So I do not recommend this product! It is so bad for the price!

Small heater that packs a punch!
Small heater that packs a punch! I use this one in my office by my feet and it's perfect for a small to medium room. The fan is also quite strong for such a little heater. Has the ability to swing as well... and the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend it.

Kambrook Ceramic Oscillating Heater KCE95
Purchased at Myers for $89.95 and returned 3 days later ..
I know that this heater has good write ups and that gave me confidence in my purchase. Nevertheless, there were subtle issues for me that left me feeling Uncomfortable.
1] I ran the heater for quite a while and was unable to improve the digital heater reading passed 19 degrees .. even when promoting it towards digital figure of 25 . The only way I was able to increase the figure reading was to introduce another fan heater into the room.
2] The humming noise of the fan motor starte...Read more

Good little heater
This heater heats up a medium sized bedroom really well.I like that it has a cut off switch when room reaches desired temperature. Also, it's not too noisy; which is important.
Not sure how cost efficient it is yet, as l haven't received electricity bill. That will be the real test.
I do think Kambrook make the most reliable heaters though.

Amazing little thing
I only just bought it, but I'm already happy with my little purchase. It's just a tine heater but it heated my lounge room in minutes, when a heater 5 times its size couldn't do even half as good. $75 bucks well spent! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an affordable heater

Good buy for small rooms
This heater stands (roughly) 300mm high, is 200mm wide and 150mm deep. Because it can also oscillate then you may need a slightly larger area to stand the heater in to keep the heat away from other objects.
The main advantage of ceramic heaters is the fact that they use less power to produce the same amount of heating. Instead of heating a metal element/s they heat a ceramic plate/s and use a fan to run the air over this to blow warm air into the required space. The oscillating function gives a better distribution of overall heat.

e are a number of controls including a separate on/off switch at the back of the unit. When turned to "on" a pilot light on top glows to remind you that it is active. The front controls consist of two switches and a dial. One push on/off switch controls oscillation while the other push switch controls the heat selection. Pushing the heat selector once runs the low heat (900 watts) a second push runs full heat (1800 watts) a third push sets the thermostat (default 25 Cº) and a fourth push turns off the heat but runs a fan. This push button carousels to each of the above described settings but does NOT act as an on/off switch.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

great heater!
Just got this yesterday. One function is that the heater has a smart sensor to detect your room temperature and start heating only when your room temperature is low to a certain amount (you can adjust what temperature you want your heater to turn on) - makes it very useful and doesn't waste on a lot of power as I believe.
Thermostat is easy to use, it allows u to set any temperature u want very easily! (from 15 degrees on wards) Can't remember the maximum temperature. For me, I just want for personal use and got a small room. Bought this heat...Read more

How many fan-speed settings? I need a floor fan-hater with at least 3 fan settings, so the fan isn't roaring loud when heat setting is on low or minimum. Kambrook used to offer the perfect one, with 3 fan settings, but I can't find anything like it.

The fan is the same for whatever setting it is on. Settings are for the temperature. Low, high or choose your own temp using the temperature dial. There is also a fan only option. The fan sound is the same on all of the settings. It is a low hum - not too loud at all. There is a swing button if you want the heater to oscillate - doesn't affect the sound at all.

Is the noise bearable to in a small room?

With all small heaters you will get a fan noise. We think that this one is very reasonable - not too noisy at all, but if you are looking for whisper quiet then don't buy a small fan heater.
Okay thanks for the info. I got one from kmart which is giving me headache due to the extreme noise it makes.
