    Bad. and badly made

    published

bought one of these via the Kathmandu web shop and when I received it the plastic plunger piece appeared not straight and there were signs of stressed plastic around the circular compression plate. It appeared to have been cross threaded, I pulled it apart thinking I could likely screw it in straight and move on. not the case, a genuine manufacturing fault. Personally returned it to a physical store hoping to swap it over but the other 3 on the shelf all had the same issue, an issue that would have resulted in the plastic plate snapping off from the centre after a couple of uses. I would have give this product zero but the staff were entirely helpful.

    Not bad

I've had mine for 10 years. It works just fine. The plastic outer coating has split in a couple of places, but it hasn't affected its function. I would buy one again. Would prefer it if there was a smaller option. Bit expensive. What else can you say about a coffee plunger?
    Stainless steel, strong
Plastic coating could have been done more robustly. Would prefer it if there was a smaller option. Bit expensive.
