Not too bad
This air conditioner is pretty good given the price. It uses almost all of our spare solar power though. Quiet and I like that you can put a light on. When the room door is closed it cools the room quite quickly and efficiently. Installation was pretty easy but the installers where a bit all over the place. Easy settings for anyone to use.

So Happy.
Works perfectly and so quite. Cheap to run too!! Installed in a morning and working well in the afternoon.
Cools my main room and lowers the temp in the rest of the house. My power bills have not gone up noticeably and I am amazed how quite it is even with the outside part mounted on my tin roof.

Good for the price
This product is good for the price and it looks very good on the wall, it costed us around $525 from Harvey Norman on sale. We installed in on our master bedroom and it does a good job both with heating and cooling, the only negative is, this product doesn't come with remote holder.

Heats room well
Haven't used the cooling function as yet but it warms the room ok. Only giving 3/5 stars as the kelvinator staff are not very friendly. They had a promotional cash back and when asking them questions they were quite rude. Hate to have a problem and have to deal with these people.

Good quality unit
Easy to use unit. This air conditioner heats and cools our large living room with ease. It has a silencing function so it is super quiet if need be. Normal setting is quiet. Has a good energy rating so doesnt use a great deal of power. The unit was easily installed.
September 15th 2017 Update: Good quality unit
We put this size unit in our master bedroom as it is quite a big room. It cools and heats on a low fan setting with ease. I don't need to have it on long. It was easy to install. And runs on a quiet mode or normal mode which is still a quiet hum. Very affordable. Only problem is there is no cradle for the remote so it gets misplaced easily when put down.

quite and works well
I bought this air conditioner 7 months ago. Used it in peak summer and peak winter as well. I use this in bedroom. No noise at all even at night. Worked well for cooking and heating. Will highly recommend. At very low speed, it is hard to tell that the unit is on as far as noise is concerned.

Keeps the house warm!
Our kelvinator is for the main room and it has kept the room and surrounding rooms warm. Haven't tried the aircon yet but we are happy with the heat. The unit is a little noisy at night, it sounds like it's raining outside. The installer was a bit rough in his handling so hope he hasn't knocked it around too much. There is water running from outside the unit but the installer said this is normal when you use the heat function?

Works a treat!
This aircon works just fine. I haven't tried the aircon but it is great at heating up the house. We were told that this unit would be undersized for the room we intended, but it still works great! There are a heap of different settings available and the unit itself is quiet, so you can keep it on all night. The light is also great if you want to get up at night.

Good option for a rental
I put one of these units in my central queensland rental. The electrician said the install was easy. Unit does a good job in a big room. Only complaint is that the remote doesn't come with a wall mount (I velcro'd it to the side - classy!). The kelvinator units are a lot cheaper than other brands and do a very good job.

Perfect for us
This unit is fine for our room. When we had it installed, we were told that it was not the correct size and we needed the one up from this. However, it cools the room quite well and also the neighbouring rooms if we leave the door open. Happy customer here.

Nice and quite keeps me warm In the winter
Yes I am happy with my air conditioner and bought it to keep me warm in winter as I get sick with a chest problem because of the bedroom being in a cold part of the house and hope I won't get sick this winter. My husband also benefits as well as he suffers with with chest problems too.

Bad after sales service
Bought unit in a completely sealed box, professionally installed the unit, unit runs well however....
*Unit did not come withe rear cover on the outdoor unit even though it was pictured on box.
*Did not come with remote holder pictured in manual.
Professional installer stated he has installed many of these particular units and they have always had this cover.
Proceeded to call customer service, was told that a technician stated that they no longer come with rear covers to protect the radiator on the outdoor unit. Beware of after sales service, clearly not interested once you purchase their unit.
Hate the company so far the unit works fine.... Will not be buying another.

INSIDE UNIT FAN MADE A TICKING NOISE
I bought the unit brand new and had it fitted by a professional installer in Melbourne. After a couple of days the inside unit made this ticking noise on medium to high fan. I phoned the number provided for warranty being ELECTROLUX ( which is 5 years by the way) I found the phone staff very polite and helpful. They had a guy out the very next day and he made a couple of adjustments which fixed the problem he said had never heard of this happening before. The service guy even gave me a follow up call a few days later to see if everything was...Read more
ok. Everything works fine so far, The unit is very quiet and the remote is easy to use and has some great features like a self cleaning button for bacteria. I live in a ground floor bed sit apartment and it both cools and heats the space quite adequately for a small 2.5 kw capacity air con even on the hottest of days.Similar opinion? Trying to get the heat to work. No air coming out at all. P1 showing on unit. Any help?
1 answer
We haven't had that happen, but according to the manual it is an error code where the unit may stop working if it doesn't start working after 10 minutes of tuning off. Try disconnecting the power and reconnecting it, if this does not work, disconnect the power and you will need to contact your nearest customer service center.
