My 2017 Kai Cerato Sport has a satnav screen that suddenly went off and put up an analogue clock...no radio, no phone, nothing working...silence....why....it's not in the book at all and I've had the car since day 1 with nearly 30,000ks on it??

My screen went completely black 6 months afer purchase so could not use reverse camera, sat nav, radio etc. I returned cr to rwplace the "radio unit" under warranty. No problems since.

Cerato YD Sports+ build Dec. 2017. Can the sensitivity of the auto headlights-on function be adjusted? My wife is concerned that it has to be a lot darker outside at dusk than what she comfortable with before the sensor activates.

I have a 2013 YD model with the 2.0L engine. The start/stop button electronic button is playing up. Often the steering wheel will not unlock, meaning the car cannot start. A message comes up in the instrument cluster saying to turn steering wheel left and right to unlock it. Its hit and miss and often takes a very long time for the steering wheel to unlock

My 2013 KIA Cerato Hatch on-board computer display screen has gone black and doesn't switch back on and my radio cuts in and out even when i mute or switch the radio off after few mins its on again and at the same volume and the same radio station i cant change any of my settings at all I also have no revers camera
i hope there is a way to fix this without replacing the computer unit because i don't think that has helped others since the problem still occurs

How can I turn on the soc fuse? i have this message on screen (soc fuse off), and every time i turn on the car i find the clock reset to (12:00) my car is cerato 2022

What is a soc fuse? Ifthe the clock is resetting you may need to go into set up and check the box to adjust the time via GPS. That may help. Haven't had any issues myself.

I have problem with both kia cerato 2013 and 2014 that sometime i try several times until i can switch on the car. There is no problem battery so what the solution?
Computer test didn't show any problem. Any help?

It's hard to say. Did you get it checked by a Kia service centre or local mechanic. Kia should have diagnostic equipment to isolate the problem. Has the car been regularly serviced?
I'm just grabbing at straws, but there "may" be a bad connection to the starter motor, or with the starter motor itself not engaging with the flywheel. As suggested above, see an expert. Good luck.

Suzy, I can't find any answer to your question in our Cerato or Optima owners' manuals, but since you are still well within your warrantee period I would suggest a visit to your Kia dealer who should be able to fix the problem. Good luck.

How do you get the front parking sensors to stay on. They turn themselves off even though you have pressed the button to turn them on. When parking you have to manually turn them on again each time! Beyond strange...

The parking sensors will turn off after the vehicle procedes forward at approx. 20 kph. On the console you should have a button maked "P". When you are going to park the vehicle push this button and a light will illuminate showing the sensors are activated. The activated sensors will display on the driver's screen to show distance warnings (green, yellow, red) and chimes will sound accordingly. This button must be pressed to activate this parking assistance feature when you have been driving and are in a parking situation. I hope this has been helpful.

Have you checked the tyre pressure sensor? To reset it park the car with it running and press and hold the button until you get a message saying it has been reset.

hi - Bought a 2011 Kia Cerato a couple of months back with 3 month warranty - has a definite issue that only seems to show after I have been driving for a while - like 30 mins. Seems to over-rev and then a big clunk and rattly metal sound follows. Once also vibrated a lot following this. If I stop and restart after a bit seems fine again. Anyone experience or know what this could be?
