Tastes Great!!
I have tried all the flavours of shakes and soups and am pretty impressed. They are all pretty yummy. I’m not a big fan of the soups from other brands, but these are actually edible! Definitely recommend these!

Checking the weight and ingredients you will soon see these VLCD's are the best going around. My wife and I have used these to collectively drop over 10kg in a couple of months. If you are with a health fund and have knee or hip issues there is also a fair chance they will pay for them under a new OA program. They provide full customer support and follow up exercises too!

Best Tasting of the Optios Tried
I am consuming Kicstart VLCD in the five days + period post bariatric surgery so it is important to me for both taste and providing energy and nutrition. I have also added into the mix Proslim and Up&Go but not Optifast. Kicstart VLCD is now my go to choice meal replacement. It is also being mixed with Boomers 100% Whey Protein Isolate which thickens it up (this applies to all products tried).

t said I find that as I have it mixed it takes the longest to consume which is also probably a good thing. I have tried three flavours, Chocolate Deluxe, Vanilla Bean and Caffe Latte. Caffe Latte is my hands' down favourite flavour providing that "coffee" start to the day. Oh I am currently loosing 1 kg per day on a diet of Kicstart, etc. Please keep in mind however this is post bariatric surgery so consumption of solid food is not possible.Similar opinion? I think i could live on these shakes!
I have to admit in am only a week into the kicstart diet but I am very happy with the weight I am loosing and love the chocolate shake, made with water and berries. I love baking though and to me this shake tastes like rich chocolate cake so I think I could just actually live on this one flavour, lol maybe not such a good idea? The first day I had the shakes I had them plain and found they felt heavy in my stomach and didn't like that much, but since adding frozen berries it seems to have lightened it. a very easy diet to stick to. This is the diet I am following: 2 shakes made with water and berries or vegetables, 1/2 cup legumes (I am vego) 1 serve of any carb I want and as much low carb vegies as I like including tomatoes and pumpkin, I also have two coffees with milk and no sugar a day but there is no limit to how many of them I can have.Similar opinion? Fantastic!
I add 200ml of milk to the 200ml of water, put it in the freezer for an hour then add the powder and blend with a stick blender. Very filling, all flavours taste great and a good tool to help you lose weight.

I have been on the pre-op diet of Kicstart for about 10days now, 1 shake for breaky and lunch and the soup at night plus a salad for lunch and steamed veges for dinner. My problem is daily runny tummy. What can I do to counteract this problem?

I have been on the KicStart VLCD for about 10 days now (breakfast and lunch)drink plenty of water but my constipation seems to have gotten much worse. I am taking Actilax and Metamucil but get very bad bloating, gas, and more constipation. I eat vegies and a salad during the day. I have lost about 2kilos since taking it. I don't know whether to persevere with the sachets as I feel that the bloatiness etc is so bad. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
