Terrible waste of money
I bought this phone for my mother following an accident. It constantly went dead, obviously faulty. The customer service person was unhelpful and rude. We spent roughly $500 for nothing

Brilliant
The phone is brilliant for senior people who have difficulty with ordinary phones. It has restored phone contact to one of my family. Absolutely love it.
The staff at KISA are delightful. My sisters phone was dropped and broken. They couldnt have been more helpful.
Simply no critiscism possible, the phones brilliant and so is the service.
Purchased in July 2021 at Direct from KISA .

Perfect for elderly
Purchased for my father after he had a stroke. Inexpensive and easy to use. Gave him a sense of independence in being able to contact family whenever he wanted. Useful when he went to hospital as we could ring him directly. Dad always took the phone when he went out for walks or to the shops which gave him and us a sense of security
Purchased in March 2021 at KISA for $250.00.

Just the ticket!
Brilliant! Just the ticket for those who find technology upsetting due to mental or physical challenges. Perfect for the elderly and kids you want to keep contact with without the fear of all that online trash a regular phone would expose them to.

Great concept but beware ....
This phone is a brilliant concept for the elderly however, what you don't get told are very important things like you CAN'T boost coverage with a mobile booster or Wifi if in an area with poor phone reception or a building that has interference. Also, the photos need to be one that has nothing in the background so make sure it is just a head shot and plain wall as background otherwise the photos appear very dark. It truly is a great idea but needs a lot of improvement. I just wasted my money! CS staff need to be upfront with people when th...Read more
ey purchase or they should offer a money back guarantee OR trial period even with a phone that has no photos. Try before you buy !! Communication is extremely important for the elderly or disabled so unfortunately I have to say this phone is a dud.Purchased in April 2021 for $300.00.

EXCELLENT phone for kids and elderly!!
Having purchased this back in 2017, this phone has never ever failed!
I am now upgrading to a newer version this month for better GPS tracking which gives me untold peace of mind when my son is away.
These phones are cheap, easy to use and great for kids and elderly! I highly recommend these to anyone with small kids needing a simple phone to call : Mum, Dad, Nanna etc or the elderly who need 'bigger' keypads and an easy phone to use!! - These are simple, no fuss, phone only (no camera's etc) phones which are extremely reliable and a great concept!!

Great phone for People with a Disability
We purchased the KISA phone just over 2 years ago for our brother who has an intellectual disability. It has been a great way for him to contact family members when he wants to have a chat (we have 10 numbers registered), however anyone can call him. Only thing we've found is a few times he's accidentally called one of us when charging or picking up the phone as the buttons are easily pressed. On the whole it's been a great phone for him to use & a good way of being able to contact him

It’s the best phone for kids and older people! Easy and safe! Thank you for this product!
Everything is easy! It’s the best phone for kids and older people! Easy and safe! There is info with the address too and GPS. My daughter doesn’t need apps yet and this phone is perfect for this too. She can’t stay hours on it because it’s just for calls and this is safety too.

For the Elderly - just don't even try anything else
I bought the KISA phone for my elderly Mother after trying two other supposedly easy to use modern phones. My Mum simply could not remember how to use them 5 minutes after I had shown her. Even if she wrote down what to do because when she tried if she swiped or pressed a different function button or held it too long, the screen tended to change and so she just got confused, angry and frustrated and felt isolated. Someone suggested the KISA phone to me and it is just fantastic. You nominate the people and phone numbers you want available t...Read more
o the user. (up to 20 but we had just 10 so the names would be really large. The phone comes to you with the selected names printed largely and clearly on the phone. All the user has to do is press the name of the person they want and hey presto - contact..... what a blessing. My Mum only got to use the phone for the last 5 months of her life and I really wish I had known about this product long before that. I found the purchase price to be very reasonable and the monthly charge minimal but that could depend on the use of course. By the way, the customer service people are very easy to deal with to set up and to cancel the service when the time comes. Definite recommendation.Similar opinion? Marvellous phone
My elderly mother found this phone a godsend as she was almost blind and deaf! She could see the names on the phone written clearly and dark which made them easier for her to find! She could take it with her and ring when she wanted me so this made her feel more independent . Didn’t have to worry about numbers!

An excellent idea that failed miserably
We bought a KISA phone a few years ago and in the beginning, it worked perfectly.
Then Telstra dropped the G3 system and brought in NBN and destroyed the KISA phone’s ability to track people.
From that moment on, the phone has been a dud. We could no longer track our old parents on the GPS from our computer 1000 kilometres away – which was the major reason for buying the phone in the 1st place.
Dealing with the KISA Company then become a nightmare of why our KISA phone no longer can track our family. They have a million excuses – most...Read more
are not true. So we replaced the phone with a SAMSUNG J2 Pro with 4G which has proven to be easier to use and extremely accurate and instantly locates our family on the phones GPS on “FIND MY PHONE”.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Rude rude rude customer service operator
I called KISA today to enquire as to how I may order a new battery for my 93 year mother’s KISA phone. I spoke to Anna. I proceeded to explain the situation and she proceeded to talk over the top of me would not stop talking to listen to what I had to say to the point I had to ask her to stop talking over the top of me and had to tell her how rude she was. Begrudgingly she stop talking long enough to listen to my request and ordered the replacement battery as requested then proceeded to talk down to me. I have never in my life experienced such blatant rudeness from someone who is supposed to provide a service to their customers.

Dementia phone too confusing for Mum
The KISA dementia phone appeared to offer the ideal solution for our Mum when she moved into permanent Residential Care. We wanted a phone so she could easily contact any of us at the touch of a single button.
However, for Mum, who had never had a mobile phone before, the unlabelled answer and hang-up buttons symbols, their location and the process for answering, although simple for us, were for some reason confusing for her.
It was also too easy to accidentally turn the volume down low without realizing you were doing anything. So half t...Read more
he time Mum was always having trouble hearing us & thinking the phone had a problem. We hoped in time she would get the hang of it but it's been a good while now and she's become frustrated with the phone, often unplugging it. A great pity, because they cost $300+ On the plus side, the staff were very helpful in assisting us to quickly set up the phone and provide us with design guidance. However, in my opinion, there are still some major design issues which need to be ironed out with the phone itself, for dementia sufferers, who are not used to mobile phone technology.Similar opinion? Terrible
My mum has had nothing but trouble, customer service wasn’t great - they said they would speak to a supervisor and call back but never did. It’s small for elderly hands and kept dropping out all the time. It’s a shame because the concept is great! Waste of money for us!

Excellent product
This phone is as easy to use as advertised and provided our family with peace of mind. The phone always had good reception and the online account is very user friendly. The phone is compact with big buttons and the additional information on the back is a really good additional feature.

Absolutely Hopeless
Bought this for my Dad who has Alzheimer's because it sounded like a great concept with simple functionality.
Not only is the GPS tracking uselessly inaccurate - when it even works, but here is a simple overview of our main pain points, having used this for the past two years:
- TERRIBLE connectivity
- Handset feels cheap and breakable
- Useless battery life
Whenever calls are made, the line either cuts out immediately, or halfway through. In the event of a miracle where the line doesn't actually die, the connection is so patchy and cu...Read more
ts out constantly to the point where you are unable to understand anything. While KISA will stipulate that this is a network issue and not hardware related, I've managed to have perfectly fine calls in the same locations using the exact same carrier sim card on multiple other phone models.Similar opinion? The KISA Phone, a model of simplicity.
Ever since mobile phones hit the market place back in the 1980s I have longed for a phone which would just make calls, and nothing else, just like your garden variety home phone.
Well, apart from one very simple analog mobile which briefly appeared in around 1993, my desire remained unsatisfied until KISA came to my rescue.
Now, I have a simple mobile phone which just makes calls. You can call up to ten contacts, which can be programmed by KISA staff, even remotely. You can also program the numbers on the KISA website.

phone technically reliable, and you can make or receive calls even in areas where reception is weak. The phone is light and small, smaller than a packet of cigarettes. It fits easily into a shirt pocket, and can even remain hidden in your pocket. A lanyard is also supplied.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A Fantastic user friendly phone for those with special needs.
KISA: an amazing simply to use phone for my elderly mother in residential aged care. She only has to press the relevant family member's name printed on the keyboard without the confusion of finding relevant numbers. She always had ready communication with the outside world. Thank you KISA. Nursing staff were very impressed with it as was family members of other residents. Fantastic!
